I used the project quote function on Yelp to snag some pricing and info from local plumbers. In chatting with Al over yelp, he had me send some pictures and gave me a general idea of pricing. Unfortunately for me, my setup is non-compliant with current code specs. Fortunately for me, Al was able to come check it out in person the next day. He was then able to get back to me and upgrade my system, install a new water heater, and take the old one out... all within 72 hours of my original request. Some of the larger companies in the area were a week or more out before even willing to come give me an estimate. Can't say enough positive things about Breyer's. From start to finish it was a friendly, professional, and well done project. If i need a plumber in the future, they'll be my first call.

They replied to my request for the price for a visit within a few hours of initial communication, and Al came the next day . He explained everything as he examined the A/C, fan and motor. It was a motor/fan problem for AC and furnace. Since my furnace was 13 years old and had a few hiccups last winter already, i asked them to replace with brand new one. Today (next day) D'Artagnon and his colleague came @8 am to replace my old furnace. They even made a few updates on pipes for drainage (so that water goes into the drain directly without spilling). Now my AC is blowing nice cold air and I don't have to worry about the furnace for at least another 10 years (that comes with 10 year warranty). The price for this installation was reasonable, as it was a bit lower than my old furnace. They did all within 3.5 hours. Al followed up with a call to make sure I was satisfied with their work within 30 min. I felt they were thorough and very professional, and honest and do care about their customers.

A very polite real-life person answered after just a couple of rings (no prompts or automated options required). She said a technician could come same day between 1 and 4. He arrived at 1:15 and diagnosed the problem quickly, a dying circuit board that was not providing consistent power to the igniter. He quoted the cost of replacing - around $450 but was concerned about replacing such an expensive piece on a furnace that had perhaps already exceeded its life expectancy. It was a honest assessment. My husband and I had been expecting both the heating and a/c to go out for the past few years, based on their age (about 25 yrs) and well-worn condution. He knew some tricks to get the furnace running but it failed again that night, consistent with the nature of the problem. Thankfully, the salesman John - 35 yrs on the job, was scheduled to visit that morning. He helped us explore various options and discussed our needs and requirements. He listened, evaulated and eventually sold us the least expensive model with no pressure to buy the high-end units. Such a pleasant experience! Incredibly, installation was the next day. Mike, 15 yrs with the company, and Andy, with around 5 yrs, worked as a team to install a new furnace, a/c and thermostat. They used drop cloths to cover the floor where they would go in and out with equipment and they swept up any debris they created. He helped us to diagnose and identify the issue that the furnace stopped working was caused by furnace control board. After replacing the control board, he also came back for the second time and spent a lot of time to make a complete check on our furnace heating system and identified other problem on some broken dampers for the zone control system, and resolved the problem and helped us to ignite the firewall in the house without any additional charge to us.
