Amazing! I came in on a Monday evening and waited only 5 minutes or so. The shop is very clean and everyone was very friendly and professional. I had old gel nails soaked off, and a French powder dip manicure. The guy who did my nails was quick, but also very thorough - it took a little over an hour total. I absolutely love my new nails! Came here with my sister in law. She had wanted to get her nails done when she came into town so I called and made an appointment the dame day. This place is not a super nice salon but the prices are pretty good. Gel manicure was $29. Nails look good and the guy I had was pretty quick. Both of us were done almost at the same time (I was being indecisive about color) when using the same type of nail polish I was able to get 3 different colors for no up charge which was nice. It's been very few hits and multiple misses the last few months. I came back one week after getting my nails filled because it looked THAT bad. This visit I got gel and she didn't paint up to the base of my nail, so it's been about two day and some of my nails already look like they need to be refilled and polished. I paid $35 plus tip for a gel fill. It used to be $15 for a fill, now it's $20. I've spent a lot of money here this month, but it doesn't equate to the services I received. Idk what's going on. They're rushing and don't care about the quality anymore. I also felt like I was inconveniencing the lady because she has an AirPod in and didn't talk to me the entire time. At the very least I just wanted her to respond or something when I make casual conversation, it was so awkward just sitting there in silence for 40 minutes. Every other nail tech was friendly and making conversation with the customers. I also didn't appreciate that she had me sit down at the desk only for her to go run errands for 10 minutes before beginning and she also walked away halfway through my appointment. The lack of communication was unnerving, if you have other things to do, ask me if I'd be okay waiting for 10 minutes, don't just leave. Extremely disappointing, I came here the day I was suppose to leave for Vegas, later that night my pinky finger acrylic nail broke, I went back that morning for the lady to redo it and she made it very uneven and not like the rest. Normally I would not give a business 1-Star but due to the fact I have come to this location multiple times and notice they would let 3-5 people go in front of me and I just get the sense they are more acceptable to women. Don't get me wrong all for equal rights, but if I'm waiting on my lunch break to get a pedicure than my time is limited and important. Let me start by saying this is the first time I've ever written a review before... My experience at Tempe Nails & Spa was so terrible that I felt compelled to write a review. I went to get a full set and the lady who did my nails had a TERRIBLE attitude and did a poor job from the beginning.. I left the salon and within 20 minutes, 2 of my nails bubbled up and the paint tore off. I went to get it fixed, and within another hour, ANOTHER nail bubbled up. I called to get it fixed and when I went in, I requested either a refund or a full, new set. The manager was so rude and told me that nails were not the problem, it was the way the paint dried.... So I got a color change, and a week later, a nail completely ripped off. From the bad attitude of the manager, the angry lady who originally did my nails, and the poor quality of the nails... I will NEVER return, and will tell all of my friends and family to never set foot in that salon. read more

I have acrylic gel nails and have been coming here for the past 9 months to get them filled. I've never had any issues whatsoever - my nails are always very strong and I've only had a nail break one time. It sometimes takes over an hour to get a fill which kinda sucks, but the employees take their time and do a very precise and detailed job. Overall I love this salon, just not too happy that their prices have gone up for getting a fill. It used to be around $40 including tip, but last time I came here I paid almost $50. read more

I love this salon. Once I started going here I will never go to a random chop shop nail salon again. They are incredibly clean and it always looks like they are brand new because they keep everything in order! They have a huge selection of both gel and regular polish. Staffed by perfectionists, my nails always look on point! My boyfriend even noticed the difference in quality of my nails. Pedicure chairs are high end and comfortable. The owners are such a sweet family and everyone works VERY hard, every single day. You won't have to worry about your gel polish lifting and peeling here, they pay extra attention to detail. It was the first time I came to the salon and it was pretty uncomfortable.. I just got stared at. They didn't even smile and they look very unhappy and didn't really talk to me.The inside of the salon is really nice, clean and when you get a pedicure they put a bag in there for sanitary purposes. When I left the nail salon I thought he did an okay job.. Didn't really like the color but that's on me and now 3 days later the nail polishes has chipped. I've never had a gel nail polish chip on me unless it was like 3 weeks later. So the only time I'll be back is to get this one nail fixed and then not anytime after. I GOT A NASTY BACTERIAL INFECTION FROM GOING TO THIS NAIL SALON. I am not the type of person to write nasty yelp reviews but I am shocked at how this salon handled my situation after me and my friend came in for acrylics and BOTH OF US developed psoriasis (a nasty bacterial infection that can cause you to LOSE YOUR NAIL and permanently damage your nail matrix, not to mention it being very painful) after getting our nails done. I have been a long time customer of this place for over 4 years, and when I came in to explain my situation, I was treated horribly. I didn't want to have to resort to reporting their business to the board of cosmetology, but this infection caused me a great deal of pain let alone the time and money that was spent trying to get rid of the infection and going to the doctors for prescription medication. If a business refuses to give a long time customer a refund or at least try and fix the damaged nail that THEY CAUSED due to dirty equipment, then that really goes to show the ethics of the owner. Their business license should honestly be revoked. I was gaslighted when I came in, when I showed them the prescription given by my doctor, photos of the acrylics and the source of the infection, my horribly damaged nail, and the receipt for the manicure I was given, and I was told that the infection was my fault even though my friend who had gone here with me on the exact same day also developed a bacterial infection on one of her nails, and that there was nothing they could do for me. If TWO PEOPLE go to the same place and then end up getting an infection, it is not a one off chance or a mistake, this place is using dirty tools and does not have proper sanitation for their equipment. I have never encountered a business, especially after making a mistake, that has shown so little regard for their loyal customers, and I will never be coming here again. Please find another salon and don't risk getting a painful infection and losing your nail like me. I've attached some photos, but keep in mind it used to be a lot worse than this (I know, hard to believe) as you can see my cuticle on the affected nail has still not grown back. read more

I've come here four times. The first two were great. Then I got the old woman at the end of the far right row. I now have an obvious line between my old fill and this one because I didn't know which pink they used last time and it couldn't be matched. Now I have to remove the lot of it and have it completely redone. If you go here it might be a great experience, unless you get the woman at the of the far right row. Which will cost you more than just your time, because you'll have to pay someone else to fix her mistakes. Fantastic. read more

i have never ever made a google review about any business- however the experience i had here was ABSOLUTELY terrible. i will never come back to this salon. the only thing that was decent was the customer service- from everyone besides my nail tech. the nail tech hardly spoke to me- barely a hello. he was an older gentleman and was incredibly nonchalant about my nails. the left picture is the exact picture i showed him for reference of what i wanted- and he looked at it briefly one time and never asked to see it again for reference. my nails are thick and clunky looking-when i asked for thin and sharp looking. the reference picture and the end result are night and day. i got too nervous to ask the nail tech to redo the nails- he had already been struggling with the equipment prior to us finishing. he looked as though he was going to use an airbrush for the ombré, however he couldn't get it to work- and instead used an extremely cheap sponge that left bits of sponge and a hole-y texture throughout the paint. it was so bad that when i was leaving, my friends nail tech (who was a younger gentleman who was extremely nice and did her nails perfectly to her reference photo) asked to see my nails and clearly looked appalled. i was so embarrassed that i could not ask for them to redo it. overall extremely unpleasant with a terrible end result. my nail tech was extremely rushed during my session and left me feeling terrible. i will never ever come back here. read more

I came here for a simple eyebrow wax and instead was the victim of a mini WWE struggle. The lady kept using my chest as a coffee table to steady herself even though I asked her not to but she just told me to hold still and proceeded to keep using the people's elbow on me. My eyebrows came out uneven and they were trimmed too short. The interior is pretty bland, just all white and empty. so if you're the type that likes getting their nails done where there's a painted sky on the ceiling with Greek columns, flat screens left on Travel Channel, and the whole shebang, go somewhere else. Maybe I'll try the other location seeing as they have better reviews? I don't know if my chest can take another beating though. read more

I'll start with the pros. -The salon is super clean! I'm not sure how long they've been there but it looks brand new and very pretty. -They have a good selection of polish colors to choose from, mostly OPI. (OPI is my favorite.) -My friend and I went in without an appointment at 5:15 on Friday evening and only had to wait a few minutes before being taken to our chairs. -The pedi chairs might be the best I've experienced yet. They're super comfy, look brand new and have the most massage settings. -My tech was very friendly... I mean she didn't talk except to ask me what kind of pedi I wanted but she SEEMED friendly. On to the cons. I want to say that this first gripe is not something that would normally make or break my experience and honestly it's something I would have overlooked completely had my service been a great one... or even a decent one buuuut it wasn't so I think it's worth mentioning. -It's so quiet that it's almost uncomfortable. While I appreciate a calm atmosphere, silent doesn't necessarily mean serene. It was as if the techs are instructed not to speak at all and without any kind of background music it was awkward for my friend and I to talk to each other. -They have 3 pedicure options, the basic, classic and spa. I got the classic. Callous remover, a sugar scrub and hot stone massage are the extras with this one. I asked if I could have the scrub on just my feet because my legs are too sensitive for it. I expected that since it was ONLY my feet for that part she might actually "scrub" and apply some pressure. I was wrong and it was the same careless, barely there rubbing (*that I HATE) even after she rinsed me and applied the lotion to my feet and legs. *This is one of my biggest pet peeves. I've said it before and I'll say it again. I can paint my toes and rub lotion on my own feet and legs FOR FREE. I pay for pedicures because I want a proper massage. -The hot stone massage... I've never had a hot stone massage and I was really excited! Did I get a hot stone massage? I'm not sure. I remember her bringing over two stones and I saw them in her hands buuuuut I don't feel like I can say that I experienced a hot stone "massage" She was so fast up and down, up and down that I could never actually enjoy it. Picture someone cleaning clothes on a washing board minus actually applying pressure. That was the movement. The only time I could tell she was using stones was when she was going over my shins and that HURT. It felt like, well like someone scraping rocks over your shins. (To be fair maybe that's what a hot stone massage is supposed to be. If that's the case then bravo to her. I suppose it's just not my cup of tea.) - The woman doing my friend's pedi used a drill! My friend looked over to me horrified! We've probably gotten a bazillion pedis together from several places and NEVER have either of us had a drill used on our toes. Toenails are little! Drills get HOT. You do the math. I want to be clear. My experience here wasn't terrible it just wasn't good. I didn't leave mortified just slightly annoyed. (I can't say the same for my friend though.) My toes do look great but I'm going to stick to 7 Day. I would ONLY consider going back to Tips & Toes if I'm desperate and just interested in the end result. (This place is literally half a mile from my work.) BUT I would stick to a basic pedi and save myself the $8 of "extras" read more

I came here on a Wednesday after work and was able to make an appointment for 5:50pm 15 minutes prior. They had the regular polishes nicely displayed on the right wall. I told them I wanted gel and they provided me with samples. They didn't have a matching regular polish color to the gel I chose, which was disappointing. The woman who did my nails was nice and friendly. I got a gel removal and gel manicure ($30, $28 without removal) and regular polish pedicure ($22) for $52 total before tip. If I were to get an eyebrow wax it would be $10, $6 for lip wax and if I got all four it would have been $68 before tax. They also have a stamp card where on your 10th visit you get $10 off.
