I own a 7 BR 5 bath Temecula Wine Country AirBnB 4685 s.f. house called Vista Dawn Estates managed by TVL Homes. This year's Thanksgiving Guest was particularly hard on the house. One of the things they left was these peculiar stains in the new carpet upstairs. These pictures are only part of the stains, I didn't take all of them, cos it would be redundant. Me and the carpet tech named Gregory couldn't figure out what that very black stuff was. He thought it was spilled mascara. Well Gregory got the stains completely OUT. I asked him what he used. He showed me a spray can of Chem Dry pre-treat product. The AirBnB Guest got charged for this service, for their damage. Later, I showed Gregory the stains on the white living room couch that Stanley Steamer left behind. I can't believe how careless Guests with pets just let their pets pee upstairs on the new carpet, and the male dogs "lift their legs" into the white couch, and you can see the various pee spray on the panel right below the couch cushions, and the spray pattern widens. Then you see the stain on the carpet directly below, where the dog pee flowed onto. Later, after Gregory left, I regretted not asking Gregory to try his product and nozzle on the stains on the couch, as a test to see if Chem Dry could get rid of the stains that Stanley could not. I did ask Gregory to give me a quote for cleaning the couch. He measured it and it was $200+ . Chem Dry charges $14 a foot, and do both sides of the cushions. But for now the property manager covered stained couch cushions with a matching velour blanket, that covers the couch cushion stains and the panel down below, and feels better to my skin, than the couch fabric. Chem Dry sells the pre-treat can for $20. I really like Chem Dry because I don't like carpet cleaners that leave a soapy residue that when dry is stiff and crunchy. You know what I mean. Gregory was very friendly and professional. Even their truck is so white, beautiful, and professional-looking. I am so glad my new Short Term Rental Property Manager TVL Homes uses Temecula Valley Chem Dry. Gregory said he's cleaned many of their houses that they manage, but he was at my house for the first time. as I am their new client. read more

My dog chewed a ball point pen on my brand new light green couches. (Multiple cushions). Stephen made sure to tell me there were no guarantees, nor did I expect one. I was pleasantly surprised that he was able to get out what he DID...It was a lot, and it was a lot of work he put into it. There were a lot of stains, and he got out all of them except for two very dark very deep stains where the pen broke, and even those are significantly better. I'm kind of disappointed with this service. I like that they showed up when they said they would, and that's as good as it gets. I wasn't informed about the different packages, or that they don't move furniture (it would be an additional fee). It wasn't until the rep was leaving that I asked if he was able to clean under the couches, to which he responded that they don't touch furniture unless told in advance. Silly me, I didn't think to ask nor did the rep mention it when he gave me the estimate. (I felt like I was blamed for not saying anything beforehand. ) I thought moving furniture was standard, but I guess not. Nonetheless, I was very disappointed. You'd think that the company would mention it anyway to earn extra $$$. In addition to having my carpets cleaned in my two living areas, I also had my sectional couch cleaned. It wasn't until after the rep left that I realized he didn't clean the side pillows that came with the couch (he put them to the side and just cleaned the seat and back cushions). Jake was amazing. We had a very old and sick pet that puked all over a carpet and peed all over an area rug. These were stains and smells we thought we would never get out, but Jake did it. We had a company come over first and charge us twice as much as Jake and they did nothing to the stains or smells. Jake came over and explained what he would need to do and once the carpet dried at was amazing, the stains were gone and the smell was non existent. Chem Dry had coupons in a booklet that stated certain prices to clean my carpet. When the techs came the price was not what it was advertised at. It cost me $189.00 to clean 2 rooms and a 9x2 area rug. I had a home in Northern Ca. with over 2300 Sq. Ft. and only paid 135.00 to clean my carpets. The work was inferior and carpets are not clean when dryed. I would not use Chem dry again. read more

Tech came on time. Friendly but within 10 minutes he was trolling for my political view and then blabbing his. Results were passable but kind of sloppy as he wasn't afraid to spill cleaning fluid on my tile floors and had no towels of his own to clean up when he spilled. This was mostly due to his poor aim when filling his machine. He literally moved no furniture except for 1 couch with my assistance. I had removed all but the most heavy items before his arrival. He said that big items don't require cleaning underneath. So, I paid $50 per room 12 by 18 and 12 by 12 , for what is for the most part traffic areas only. The last time I used a Chem Dry was in OC and they did everything, cleaned thoroughly and made no excuses not to move furniture. Oh, the scotch-guard, as applied is truly a waste of money. Within a week areas he "treated" area were already collecting dirt/stain. I still like the Chem Dry method, however I will select a different and hopefully better quality vendor next time. Everything was great. Better than expected. On top of everything, (I have a developmentally disabled sibling who had a stroke recently so sometimes she has mood swings and trouble getting around... long story short, she called him an idiot for no reason) anyway, this professional handled the situation in a mature, friendly and understanding manner. Seems to be the type that is good around young children, etc. Very polite and respectful. This type of personality really matters to me because I hate feeling pushed or hassled. The cleaning job was excellent. My husband loves the finished job. Went above and beyond for the job. Plus any person patient enough to converse with and calmly engage with someone calling him an idiot (not on purpose, but he didn't know) deserves business. I was blown away at how he handled the situation. (My sister was friendly with him at the end and apologized) So any parents with kids that have special needs, hire this guy. We use to use this company for 3 of our homes. When Jake owned the company it was such an amazing experience. I called to make the normal appointment and was sad to hear that Jake had sold the business and a new owner answered. I told him exactly what Jake would charge and asked if it was the same price. He let me know that yes it would be the same price. Excited I set the appointment. Their worker showed up today and as I show him the area he gave me a totally different price.. mind you I was doing one less room than what Jake use to do. He called the owner and he basically said that is why the previous owner lost the business and that they are going to stay with the new pricing. Not only was that not professional but he could have said because I said it would be the same price I will honor it this one time but next time it will be the new price. We would have respected that and still had them service our 3 homes for the new price. I was so annoyed I decided to go with another company 3B's carpet cleaning. They were so amazing. It was more expensive however the customer service was awesome and they did a fantastic job. We run an AirBnb as well as some of our friends with a total of 7 houses that use to get cleaned by Jake.Never will I use chem dry again. So sad Jake is not the owner anymore. I have called this company several times and they have always been so good. The last time was August 2020. We had to call them again because we changed our floors from tiles and we had our house repainted so it was dusty. This time, I don't think so. The guy Steve came today with no mask and no shoe booties. I wore my mask and he was talking to my face without one. I asked if they had corner protection for the wall so the hoses will not mess up our newly painted walls. He didn't. I requested the corners of the bedroom walls be cleaned but he didn't have a small cleaner for those spots. He didn't offer any alternative either. I called Steven the owner and told him my concerns. He asked me to tell his guy to wear a mask. I told him it was not my place to do so. That I shouldn't even have to ask. It was a safety protocol. He went into our house not wearing shoe booties either. It's just respect for the homeowner to wear the mask and the booties. The owner Steven apologized but Steve never did. He eventually wore his mask at the last 10 minutes just because I asked him to call his boss. Very unprofessional and attitude problems. Before he left he needed a jump for the van and he TOLD my husband he needed a jump. Any of these cars will do...didn't ask if he could have a jump. He TOLD my husband. read more
