They then charge you $10 to attend a virtual breakfast meeting in your own dining room. I would like someone from their organization to tell me what the benefit of their virtual meetings is? There is no benefit for my business to belong anymore. I recommend you take the member fees that they charge, save them and then treat your wife to a day at the spa. This will provide you more benefit that the nonexistent bull shit that belonging to the chamber doesn't belong.

It was a surprise down in Pala. It is located about 20 miles away from the Oceanside Mission, St. Louis Del Rey. It's a small area located on a Native American reservation in Pala. The grounds and gardens are very lovely. Serene and peaceful. The original cemetery is still there. The chapel was open on this Saturday that we visited. They had beautiful frescoes and their stations of the cross were really spectacular. There's a Bell tower which interestingly is one of the few that is separate from any building. It has two bells in it both made in Mexico. The stillness and serenity and opportunity for meditative reflection were exquisite. Sadly, the museum is only open on Saturdays and we were not there on the correct Saturday as it is only twice a month. If you want to go to the museum and gift shop, then you will need to plan ahead and call to make sure that they are open. But the church and mission were really the main thing that I wanted to see. What a treasure!

Excellent selection of books, CDs, DVDs, and all kinds of other interesting things to borrow. They're VERY generous with their return date policies, too. Staff empties the return box often, with a quick return of materials to the correct racks, without issues. A VERY relaxing and nice place to cool off at, ESPECIALLY during the HOT summer season. Great programs for the entire family to participate in, too. There's a new Children's Center expansion building under construction on the north side of the main building underway, opening sometime in the Fall. The BIG Veteran's Park to the east is perfect for fresh air and exercise, with the most BEAUTIFUL patch of green grass I've ever seen, and a HUGE, open view of the Temecula Valley skyline. What a beautiful, interesting, large, and well-stocked library. As a retired librarian, I've made…read morea habit of checking out libraries wherever I go. This one was a shear delight. It was a very busy place, on a hot day, with many, many patrons studying, reading, hanging out. It is one branch of the vast 35-branch Riverside County Public Library system. Ample parking, the parking slips butt up against a thoughtfully designed walkway with signage telling you about the history of Temecula. Once inside the library, there is a beautiful mosaic-mural depicting sea-to-outer space, perhaps a nod to what all is in store for the curious patron. The Children's Area is decorated with dozens of stuffed animals atop the book cases. There are painting on the walls. Lots of visual stimulation. But, if you need some calm, further in the library, there is a whole window wall with comfortable seating overlooking a vast valley. Almost every shelf had an intriguing book on display front facing. Books that my library in San Diego does not own...yet. If it weren't so far from my home, I would get a library card (yes, with a CA id, this is possible, and free), and check out some of those great books.
