We have been frequenting businesses at Bloomfield Town Square for decades. In fact, we started in…read more1984 getting haircuts and other services at a beauty college that had long since moved and then closed. There has been other turnovers and additions of businesses including the major add of a Costco, a Best Buy, and other chain stores. There's also a decent selection of restaurants in the area from fast food to upscale eateries. We regularly visit the Costco gas station and warehouse, Best Buy, and the US Post Office as well as less frequent stops at another half dozen stores. Once a month we attend a real estate meeting at the IHOP there as well as an occasional quick McDonalds drive thru. It appears to be well maintained and I've seldom seen any long term vacancies and there's plenty of parking available. Traffic flow going in and out flows well.

This place is a mess, its like a sloppily ran 2nd hand store…read more Product is wrapped and appears new with close to new prices, but at closer examination you quickly see that everything you touch is damaged, incomplete, used, dirty (from use), and seemingly just not right. Pay close attention, because it may be boxed or shrink-wrapped looking like its in great shape, but its often not. On top of the new-ish or not so new-ish condition of the merchandise, the prices are close to retail. A counter top ice maker was $129 which is the same price as Amazon, the same went for other items I checked on. In at least one situation, there was a product that had a $3 sticker on it, but had what looked like to me as a K-Mart clearance sticker for $1.99...are you kidding me!! Walking around the store looking at the shelves in a bit of disarray drove me crazy, I was like you have this huge store with all this merchandise, and you treat it like a sloppy over priced garage sale...ugh! My prediction is that in its current state, OO may not be favorable with the people who are used to Big Lots being here. I wish them well, but in order to attract and retain customers, they need to lower their prices by about 20%, organize the shelves like a professional business, seal all open boxes, and instill trust in the consumer that they can easily return any defective merchandise.

Very few items in my husbands size as far as shorts or polos. There's some grocery and gourmet items, but I am usually a little leery about buying items like that at a store like this. We stopped off at the RH outlet at maple since I have never been. It's a basic open warehouse style…read morestore with little frills and little attention to making the furniture pieces look pretty at all. I had no idea there was a RH outlet at all. It's a small and basic open floor setup. Doesn't have the detailing and staging the regular main store would have at all. The bed frames are all grouped together, as are the rectangular tables and round tables. The sectional and living room sets are all over. There are light fixtures left out on the floor in the box. Nothing is setup to see how it might look with pieces together, except maybe the living room seating and coffee tables. There are random kid's clothes on a table and some diaper bags on the dining room tables. I suppose it's not set up for appearances since it's an outlet. Nothing appealed to me since it all appears so haphazardly placed and strewn about here.
