So much has changed over the years. She saw stores come and go, and several restaurants come and go that we used to love so much. There was a burger place with the best espresso milk shakes. There was a stir fry place we loved so much that left that one of the kids cried real tears to see it gone. But today there is still a lot for us to come here for. We really love the addition of Barnes and Noble, where you will find us every time we come here, we love this book store. While it is smaller than some, it typically carries what we are looking for. We love PF Chang's and Shake Shack. I am excited to try Pokeworks at some point. I love Sephora. I am sad that Parisian/ Carsen's went out of business, but we do go to the new store from time to time. Even though this is a tiny outdoor mall, I do come to their events. This event was the Harry Potter Butterbeer Truck activity. I believe I found it first on the official Harry Potter site, then on local advertisements. It was so fun. We actually stood in line for two hours, but it was so nice out, it was worth it just soaking up the Spring air and sunshine and people watching. They have had reindeer and petting farms here during Christmas. I love their Christmas lights. We have gone to their very small art fairs and other outdoor community activities. As some stores close, they seem to find new ones to open and new restaurants, which is great. I hope they continue to plan community activities, we will continue to visit. I am probably here once a week since it is nearby.

Jeanette, the manager on duty, was very pleasant to the unpleasant person, and went out of her way to try and appease her, apologized for the wait, and was an all around superstar. On Tuesday March 24, 2026 at age 78 and a diabetic I went grocery shopping at Costco. After getting $500 worth of products I was not feeling well and concluded my blood sugar had gotten too low. I attempted to buy a hotdog and a lemonade but I could not get the machine to take my order. I was getting more mind fog so I abandoned the effort when I saw Rochelle and advised her of my situation. She must have sensed my stress and offered to help me. she sit me down and asked me what I was trying to purchase. After telling her she took it upon herself to purchase me a hotdog and lemonade and even put mustard and relish on it. I sat and consumed what she had provided for about 15 minutes and started to feel much better. Rochelle came back and checked on me twice. She went well beyond her paygrade to care for a member customer in a compromised physical condition. Thank you Rochelle and thank you Costco for having such a wonderful associate. Aside from holidays, the lot is rarely full. In addition this location always seems clean and it's located near other stores and a few restaurants. I'll typically go in for one thing and unfortunately end up with 10+ items that weren't even on my radar but I guess that's the beauty of Target. On top of that there's a Starbucks so you can grab your drink and walk around with it as you shop! I haven't tried out the pick up option here so I will need to give it a try but overall a decent location.

Dollar Tree is a $1/item discount store where literally everything is a buck. The items are a mix of off brand and main brand items where there seems to be no rhyme or reason on what they stock other than they cost a buck. I personally only go to this store on occasion when I am looking for a specific item that I know they carry and do not want to spend much money on it. Usually it is party helium balloons or something tied to a holiday which in the most recent case was the purchase of themed plastic treat bags for the Halloween candy I will be passing out later tonight. $1 for thirty small themed treat bags was well worth the cost and will make my life a lot easier tonight. Overall not a bad store for what it is and what it carries so long as you are not looking for high quality stuff. Three stars.

Upon entering you look to your right and you will see a couple of racks of purses. The purses are dangling, dropped all over the floor with the racks tilted and tightly meshed together. When shopping mom requires assistance with me pushing her in the transporter chair; navigating this store with the chair was a chore as we zig and zagged to avoid fallen merchandise and random empty racks in every department of the store. The merchandise was clean and well-tagged but we noticed you can find a much wider array of current clothing items at other Burlington's (the one in Macomb near Gratiot is excellent!). Ample parking, great location but totally not in-line with the feel of a Bloomfield Hills store (sniff, head-tilt - lol).

I will never patronize and spend my money at this location ever again.
