I love the Inspire Marketplace store here, everything inside is created by local artists and they have local artists working in the store as well! It's the perfect spot for unique gifts too!

I visited the claires at partridge creek mall with my sisters. My youngest sister, who is 4, spilled my older sisters drink on the floor, and my older sister deeply apologized. Sunday, February 5th,2023, during 5:50 or so, a young lady, maybe in high school with black hair, pale, wearing a green hoodie, working with a blondie, kicked us out very rudely. She said we needed to get out with a rude attitude, and it was outrageous. We were shocked since we never had customer service be this rude, so we got out. If they are being paid to be rude to their customers, then they are a bad store, especially since a toddler spilled a drink on accident. My little sister cried because we couldn't buy her that toy. At the end of the day, I'm glad that I didn't spend my money for a girl to disrespect me and my family like that. Claires, hire better workers that can deal with simple accidents.

A great looking outdoor shopping plaza but really doesn't make sense for this climate. Sure it's nice to walk around outdoors and shop here with all the nice trees and other beautiful landscaping, but not in the freezing cold winter! They have a fireplace in the middle but that doesn't help you if you're walking around. This design is more for warmer climates, not Michigan! They do have a nice selection of stores but it's no fun when you're freezing your butt off in January!

I love that this mall has a little bit of everything. They have some stores that are similar to Lakeside, but many different stores. Yes, it is outside so it can be cold around this time. I like it though. It is peaceful and beautiful. I come here often. I used to love going to Max and Erma's before my burger was messed up. They have brio too, another place I have tried. Mjr is what I visit most because I love to watch movies. You can purchase tickets early, and they have recliners. The staff is pretty nice. There is valet parking as well. Some stores are Carson's, Nordstrom, Claire's, Bath and Body Works, Champ's, Sephora, Janie and Jack, Baby Gap, Journey's, Apple, etc. They have drink stores like Starbucks, Surf City, and Teavana. You can bring your dog to walk around. It is an outside mall. Wear a coat if it is cold! Sometimes they play music at night.

Band getting set up to play some tunes.

Here is my truth: I LOVE malls. Love them. I'm a big clothes and STUFF junkie and so I love the possibilities that lie within. I love crappy mall food like pretzels and icees and Cinnabon. I love a bargain. I love it all. I even worked in malls throughout my high school and college years and I still came out a big fan. That's love. One of the great things about malls is that you can also escape when the weather is crummy. On a rainy day you can go and forget about your troubles for a bit, stay dry and pick out a new cardigan. Snowy and cold? Warm up with a hot chocolate from a Starbucks kiosk and get your shop on. My wallet may not love it but I sure do! But on a sunny day the thought of being in a mall may be a bit of a bummer. Enter The Mall at Partridge Creek. An outdoor mall which allows you to stroll in the sunshine while you flit from shop to shop. There's a kids play area to keep the kiddos occupied, a mall "square" where they host entertainment like live music and such, and tons of restaurants and snacks to keep you fueled and shopping. Lots of other really nice touches there too like the big fountain, dog friendly shops, etc. Even a nice place to stroll if you don't want to spend any money. I like it! Good selection of stores too. It's not all encompassing like a traditional mall but they've got big brands like The Gap, Banana Republic, Apple Store, Lush and more plus anchor department stores like Nordstrom and Carson's. Throw in a movie theatre and tons of dining options and you can make a day of it. Even in the winter they keep it nice and accessible with lots of heaters and beautiful decor. I live on the complete opposite side of town from this mall but I'd still come by to stroll around and get some sunshine while running errands. It's pretty solid.

Good place to walk , window shop and eat

Really enjoy this place . Live music on the weekend during a be summer. There are many stores and restaurants to visit. Your allowed to bring your dog. The place is clean and open aired. Nice place to shop, eat, people watch as you walk around. I usually visit the Apple store, 3 Dog bakery, Aunt Annies pretzels, Bar Louie's, and the MJR movie theater. I like bringing my dog up to walk get her a treat at the dog bakery and me a pretzel. Nice place to check out with or without your furry friend.

Here ya go Kent!.. I salute you and the Parking spots reserved for combat wounded, and past veterans parking!!

This outdoor mall is always a great place to walk through for that relaxing feeling whether you shop or not. It's always clean due to employees walking around picking up any papers or light garbage. People and dog watching is fun. There are a variety of stores along with coffee shops. MJR theatre is in a perfect location to see a movie, while in a reclining chair after walking, shopping or eating an appetizer at Bar Louie before movie, which is our usual routine when at the Creek!

All the shops open at 1 on Sundays and close at 2. Lame Michigan malls. Everything in Michigan opens late and closes early. Smfh

Do they still play live music on the weekends?

They do! They also teach yoga classes in the same area on different days.

Subject: Complaint Regarding Poor Service at Walmart Auto Center - Chesterfield Twp, MI…read more To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with a recent experience I had at your Auto Service Center located in Chesterfield Township, Michigan. What was supposed to be a routine oil change and tire rotation turned into a complete waste of time and an incredibly frustrating ordeal. I brought my high-top van in for service and was assured by the first associate that there would be no issues performing both the oil change and tire rotation. I was told it would take some time, so I walked around the store for nearly two hours while waiting. Upon returning, I was shocked to find that nothing had been done. The second associate then claimed that they tried to call me but that the call went to voicemail. I immediately checked my phone--there was no missed call, voicemail, or notification of any kind. This feels like a blatant excuse, possibly because they were nearing closing time and didn't want to proceed with the service. To make matters worse, earlier that day I had called the store to inquire about black rubber mulch in the outdoor garden section. I was told none was available. However, while walking back to the Auto Center, I saw an entire pallet of it in plain sight. This level of misinformation is beyond frustrating. Overall, this experience was unacceptable. Between the lack of follow-through, poor communication, and misinformation, I left both disappointed and aggravated. Unless serious improvements are made in customer service and internal communication, I will not be returning to this location--or possibly any Walmart--for automotive service again. I expect a response and some form of accountability for this experience. Sincerely, Scott D. Romesburg 810-794-8077 Date of Visit: 05/20/2025

The drive maybe an extra 2 to 3 miles from my home but its a worthwhile and yet satisfying feeling to park in a clean and smooth paved parking lot at the many stores here. Kohl's is the main store up front that one can see from Gratiot Ave next to Art Van. Turn off Gratiot at this large display sign and drive to back lot areas of stores. Nearby is a Big Lots, Hobby Lobby for you craft and thrift shoppers. There are 12 fairly new stores such as Bed Bath and Beyond, Best Buy, DSW, Dress Barn, JCPenney, Five Below, Bath & Body Works, Old Navy and Ulta are my favorites. I may have missed a few to list here so check out this area for yourself. It is pleasant to talk with great customer service employees at the several stores where I shop too. A big change from Hall Rd. stores. The back parking lot after Kohl's store is where all the great shops are at with connecting driveways close to each other. If one is driving down 23 Mile Rd. after exiting I-94 Eastbound, there is a traffic light to turn left at for the "back road" to find these great stores with a roundabout. Happy Shopping at some fairly decent, well stocked and clean stores !

There still seems to be quite a few stores here that interest the family, especially the kids, like Hot Topic, Forever 21, Spencer's, H&M, Macy's, Dick's Sporting Goods, Sbarros...but it seems very empty of both people and stores. I am also not sure about how this place is labeled on yelp, it looks like someone tampered with the name of the mall. The other thing about this place is it is organized very strangely, like parts have a second floor and parts have a lower level, very confusing. There are so many great restaurants and shopping opportunities around this mall to help support customers, maybe it could have a revival? We came here because we went to some stores close by and also wanted to see if we could find a particular, which we were unable to find. Perhaps they could not survive. I am not saying I would not return, but since there is another mall in Troy, I am more likely to go there and just go to other strip malls and restaurants over here.

I remember Oakland Mall being so crowded that it was hard to make one's way through the corridors on weekends without bumping into people. When I was a kid, Oakland Mall seemed to cater more to a middle to upper middle class clientele. Now it is solidly mid-market with the Somerset Collection taking over as the upscale shopping center in Troy. Despite the many empty storefronts, including the massive hole left behind by where Sears once stood, Oakland Mall is a decent shopping center worth visiting. Macy's and JcPenney have occupied the same retail space for as long as I can remember, and are still there. The same goes for the longstanding A&W, which I find to be a clean location with good fries and cheese curds. Other stores that can be found at Oakland Mall include Dick's Sporting Goods, New York & Company, Bath & Body Works, Claire's, H&M, Tai Ji Wellness, BrowArt23, and a small food court. It's unfortunate that so many shopping malls have not found a way to bring back customers who have turned to online shopping. The few successful shopping malls I have seen have been good at diversifying with lots of restaurant options, high and low-end stores, and the addition of supermarkets. I would love to see a Target or Meijer open up where Sears used to be. I think there is potential for Oakland Mall to revitalize if it can bring in a major retailer or supercenter. Until then, some of those empty spaces would make great haunted houses or escape rooms!
