I am excited to have this place closer to home. Food is amazing and i appreciate the staff being friendly and interactive with us, making the time fly by with fun laughs and great memories. I am excited to catch sports games here as there are many TVs with great viewing angles.

Frankie's Uptown is known as a Steelers gathering spot, and the atmosphere is exactly what you'd hope for: energetic, welcoming, and a great place to catch a game. I ordered the stromboli, and I'm convinced it turned my entire day around. I walked in hungry and left wondering if I should cancel my dinner plans for the rest of the week because nothing was going to top it. Our server was the perfect combination of sweet and sassy--quick with a smile, quick with a comeback, and she made our table of six feel like regulars. Great service can make a meal memorable, and she absolutely did. Speaking of our group... all six of us left happy, which may be the restaurant equivalent of witnessing a solar eclipse. Getting six people to agree on anything is a miracle, but Frankie's pulled it off. Whether you're there to cheer on the Steelers, enjoy a great meal, or just spend time with friends, Frankie's Uptown delivers on all three. Great food, great atmosphere, and a staff that makes you want to come back. Here we go... back to Frankie's!

We were warmly greeted by the General Manager, Jackie, who is an absolute sweetheart and the true definition of professionalism. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and genuinely appreciated. The food was outstanding. We ordered the fajitas with high-quality skirt steak, shrimp, and chicken, and they were absolutely incredible. I thought another well-known local restaurant had excellent fajitas, but Husong's has definitely raised the bar. The flavors were exceptional, the portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food. The margaritas were fantastic, and the service from the entire staff was beyond amazing. Thank you, Jackie, and thank you to your entire team for providing such a memorable dining experience. We truly appreciate the outstanding service and look forward to many more visits in the future.

Dinner started with fresh focaccia and tableside oil with roasted garlic (my bf says his number one reason to choose Al Solito). We also had oysters (not pictured) but holy... wow! We split the Italian chop salad. For the main course we told Lilly (server) to choose between the pesto gnocchi or rigatoni and surprise us. She made a delicious choice of rigatoni. It's the little details the staff does that really evaluate the experience. Cleaning the table between course, ensuring the water is never empty, Taking time to ask about your day and engage in genuine conversation. The evening was finished with a homemade cannoli, gelato trio, and hot tea. Shout out Lilly for being fabulous.

All the things you'd want to eat is on there, meatballs Cesar salad, oysters and more! As far as the food, first thing we order was charcuterie board. Unfortunately we did find a hair in it. We did not complain though. We ordered everything else I listed above. The meatballs were exceptional. I ordered more Togo They also serve an amazing complementary focaccia bread. I can not stress enough how great the staff was. The bartender, barback, & even the food runners, all gave us amazing attentive service.

All the staff was super friendly and our server proved really good service. We had wine by the glass and the whipped Brie, mushrooms, steak, and split the burger. Way too much food considering everything was fantastic! Luckily we boxed the steak and reheated perfectly the next day. Wine was fabulous, especially the Alberino. I shouldn't have to clearly hear conversations that are happening to the tables next to us. It was definitely a squeeze getting in and out of the tables without interrupting the table next to you. Our server recommended getting two plates per person. The menu isn't designed to have appetizers or entrees per se, so this menu seemed like it's kind of a tapas place or kind of not? If the plates aren't appetizers or entrees and they're more shareable, then why would we only get 3 pork ribs pieces instead of 4? The pork ribs had great flavor. it was crispy, tender, and fall off the bone at the same time, but it would've been better if they added one more pork rib bone instead of 3. The whipped brie with blackberry and honey was a bit disappointing. Even after mixing the whipped brie and with the blackberries, there were barely any fruit or honey flavor. All I tasted was salt. The brie was too salty with no taste of fruit or honey. Moreover, the brie came with 2 small pieces of toast, cut into 4 pieces. There was definitely more brie than toast, so we requested additional brioche toast. Of course we got charged extra for the toast. I just think the brie to toast ratio should be better. It seemed like the plate was 85% brie and 15% toast. How are we supposed to eat the rest of the brie when the toast provided is gone? I did not enjoy more brie over brioche ratio. We also got the burger and trout. Both shareable portions. The burger tasted like a slightly elevated Big Mac but saltier. Trout was good and cooked seared with a medium rare center. Flavor wise, the trout and pork ribs were my favorite. Also, the smokin petal cocktail was perfect. Overall, the experience here was just okay.

An absolute master class in culinary & hospitality experience…read more Started with the ponzu tuna crudo, very well done and balanced. This place nails it with variety & crazy modest prices! You know the character of a restaurant by the care they put into the menu priced that shows respect for their guests. They offer steak night (every night!) with entrees 50% off!! The filet was seared crisp outside, perfect med rare. The pasta's handmade that actually tastes like someone kneaded it with love, not a machine. Veal ossobuco is my favorite meal & this one is at the very top of a long list of past favorites. It melts off the bone, rich and slow-braised, with perfect acid in the tomato ragu. Was so satisfying!! Mac & cheese was way way too good! Best part was every dish hit the table so hot! I love food that is still steaming to the last bite. The picca chica cocktail was a perfect blend of spicy & sweet. Wine list is stupidly deep; you'll spot bottles you've never heard of, all poured by people who actually care if you like it. Lastly the crème brûlée was truly out of this world and so unique in taste and presentation. I'm quietly plotting my next reservation. Worth every bite. A special thank you to Colleen & Chef Lupe for their hospitality & genuine service!
