Good local bar. Had a margarita which was good! Staff was friendly. Wish they had more game machines to play on. They do have a touch tunes where you can request music which was awesome!

A lot of people love this place, sadly I was not one of them. This is a bar that serves food - not exactly a "bar and grill" like you might be thinking. When I hear "bar and grill" I think Applebees, Fridays, etc. This place is dark and kinda depressing to be honest. We ordered 3 sandwiches and the total was nearly $50 - they came with about 6 fries each, sadly not joking. At $15 a piece the portion size was laughable at best. Have you ever seen those Lunchables that have the sad little submarine sandwich inside? That's what they serve their beef sandwich on. It was a disaster. The beef was cold and dry, the au jus was thick concentrated brown gravy and the club sandwiches were made with cheap ingredients. There were multiple slivers of BONE in the ham. It was just bad. All of it.

I went out of my way to come here to try it, because that's what i do.....i make the effort to try all the city has to offer...(i use ellipses wayyy too much) The place looks vintage, in a good way. It looks like it has been around for a long time and they didn't need to change a thing because people love it. The vintage feel is great for me as well. The bar service was attentive, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. What else do you need in a watering hole (besides food)? I lost my rear end (and some money too) in their slots but heck i received a nice buzz in exchange.

This is a great place to grab a few drinks, play machines and eat. We had a blast playing shuffleboard. The table was in great condition, and well maintained. Drinks were very fairly priced. They have several beers on tap, and mixed drinks are not watered down. The staff is always friendly, fast service, and knowledgeable. Wings were made perfectly, Club sandwich was delicious, and all the food seemed very fresh. I'll definitely be back.

The food itself was delicious and clearly well prepared. One thing to note is that the dinner menu does not offer many options for more selective eaters, but the staff was incredibly accommodating. We were able to order a burger and fries even though it was not on the menu. We also appreciated being able to order calamari and an affogato, which were also off menu. Overall, between the stunning views, great food, and flexible service, it was a really enjoyable dining experience. I've been here a few times and I'm never disappointed. From the moment we walked in, the ambience was warm and inviting -- the dining room feels elegant but relaxed, and if you can snag a seat with a view of the lake, it's absolutely worth it. We started with a couple of appetizers that were beautifully presented and flavorful, and the entrees didn't disappoint either. The menu offers a nice balance of modern American cuisine with some creative twists, and everything we ordered tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. I ordered lobster of course and hubby had steak. Service was attentive without being overbearing -- our server checked in just the right amount and was great with recommendations. The pace between courses was perfect, making the meal feel leisurely and enjoyable. Bonus points for the Sunday brunch with bottomless mimosas and Bloody Marys -- a fun option if you're looking for a weekend treat. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just want a nice dinner with a view, this place delivers. Highly recommend! Will be returning soon :)

You can purchase one of the 950 choices and they only charge you $10. over the price to enjoy the wine with your meal. This restaurant has won some awards but also has changed hands several times. It's written on Yelp that celebrity Master Chef Alex Statta and his executive chef wrote the menu but they are no longer with this business. We've been here several times and we find some HITS and some misses. The biggest HIT might be the French Dip. This was really great on two different visits. I also remember that the beef bourguignon was also very good. Desserts are always worth the calories and have been very good. The biggest miss might be the HK Burger. I was expecting a phenomenal burger since there is a $500. option for it (that I didn't try) I tried the just HK Burger $28. I asked my server if it was ground in-house. She said that it was. I also asked about the blend of meat it was and she said that she would have to ask the chef. She came back and said that it was Linz meat from Chicago. So that really didn't answer my question but that is what I got. I order my burger medium and with the salad side instead of fries because I know to have dessert here. My burger comes out almost well done with a kinda burnt roll. My server does check on us and I do tell her that my burger is cooked past medium. She insist on making a new one. During the wait the manager comes over and offers to get me some fries while I'm waiting. I declined (because I'm saving room for dessert) He also questions me about the medium cook and asks me if I mean pink or red. I said I mean pink. We wait what seems like a very long time. I finally get the new burger. It is cooked much less and can pass as medium-rare but I'm happy that it isn't well done again. My peeves are that this burger has very little beef flavor. It also can use some salt and pepper because this burger seems completely unseasoned. My other peeve is that the truffle brioche bun is served slightly burnt again. This came with some sort of sauce that came separated with an oily top. It wasn't for my taste so I used some of my husband's ketchup. I eat 1/2 and take the rest home to my dogs so I have room for dessert. I was surprised not be checked on but I saw my server was too loaded with tables to check on us. We tried the chocolate tart with orange sorbet and it was delicious. The manager spoke to us on the way out. On my next visit I will get the French Dip and dessert.

The chicken was a set of two battered thin breasts. Would have liked to see some spices in the batter. The waffles were very sweet. Personally I would not order again. However the skillet was bomb! Appts were okay....butternut squash was VERY dry. Not like the last time I had it. I tried to ask for extra maple to moisten it but it did not help at all. Didn't even eat it. The cauliflower was good. Nice mix of sweet and spicy. Fried spinach salad is one of my faves! Melts in your mouth and I'm not even a big salad person. And then we tried the shrimp and artichokes. When it came out it was not what we expected. But it ended up being delicious!! Restaurant is classy. Cute outdoor section on the second floor. Floors are always slippery though. Careful in heels! ** only other complaint on the butternut squash is no one asked if everything was okay since the whole dish sat there. I literally ate one piece. We also spoke to a manager about the great service, which I did mention how dry the butternut squash was during the conversation. Apparently offering a different dish or removing the dish and taking it off the check isn't a thing anymore if food isn't up to standards. Or even firing up a new one. A little disappointed about that, but it is what it is.

However, I would choose Big Bs over any of them for a few reasons. First, the price is right. It was only $21 for 4 medium beef ribs. That is an insane deal. In Texas they will give you 1 beef rib which will average anywhere between $40-$60 depending on place and weight. And my ribs were perfect! Now for the cons: there were no diet sodas because the machine was broken or something. I let it go this time but it is a potential dealbreaker for me. The next time I go I am gonna bring my own sodas if they are still out. If they have a problem with that then they can call the cops to get me out because that is unacceptable for a restaurant. Another issue was the pork ribs which were a little dry. I would not recommend them since their beef ribs are so good. Another issue I have is that their sauces are limited. Their sauces are ok, but they need more variety.

The restaurant is nicely decorated, it gives modern Italian vibes. We went on a random weekday, wasn't overly busy. The service was excellent, prompt and polite. The menu spans most traditional Italian fair from pizzas to pasta to meat entrees. We ordered the calamari to start, was delicious and fresh served with marinara. The wine selection is pretty provost offering bottles and glasses. I ordered the lamb chops and player 2 the seafood pasta. I was barely able to get a picture in before we dove in. The food smelled excellent and tasted even better. The lamb wasn't gamey , always a fear of mine, and cooked perfectly. I would 100% come back here for a nice easy dinner. 2 entrees , appetizer and 2 glasses of wine. Out the door for 100$, was a good deal for sure.

Their menu is mostly Italian but is also accented with some Greek and offers a nice selection of meats and seafood. Inside is rich and comfortable. They also offer a nice partially enclosed dog friendly patio. For our first visit we decided to try lunch (M-F). There is a lot of offerings on the lunch menu. They also happen to offer at least EIGHT different salads that all sound delicious so I thought this would be a great choice to dine here. Even at lunch time they started us off with fresh baked tasty bread and creamy butter. My husband wanted to try the soup of the day and tried a soup called Toscano. It was a creamy soup with sausage, potatoes, and kale and he said that it was very good. We decided to try the baked brie appetizer because that sounded super tasty. The brie was embellished with hazelnuts, caramelized onions, apricot preserved, and was wrapped in a crunchy pastry crust. It came with sweet pear slices, grapes, and buttered toasts. It was tasty and substantial. It ran a little on the sweet side. I think some people could also enjoy this as dessert. For us this seemed like maybe four servings so we had half and brought the rest home. I tried the Beet and Grilled Salmon salad. They don't ask on how you'd like the salmon so I was a bit nervous about it but thankfully it came out reasonably good. The salmon was prepared well done but it was still very moist and didn't have that over cooked taste so that was good to me. The salad was very nice and freshly made. It was adorned with with generous pieces of cooked beets that were topped with goat cheese. The soft mixed green salad had fresh roasted red peppers and sweet candied walnuts so it was tasty. My husband enjoyed the Chicken Parm. He already wants to come back again. We were too full to even think about dessert. Our server was very nice, helpful, efficient, and friendly. It's so nice to find a new one for our local rotation.
