They are not affiliated with any religion. The Restore is essentially a Home Depot Thrift Store with some new items. Stuff ranges from new and gently used furniture, appliances, home accessories, building materials and more to the public at a fraction of the retail price. They have their own line of paint and now do carpet and quote flooring. Some things are priced well, others seem pricy. (Hence -1star). Certain days of the week are different discounts. I.e. Ethan Allen Rugs are 50%off on Saturdays but only 30% M-F. Wednesday is extra 30% home decor so we scored a like-new flower pot for $3! They take donations around the back!

I needed a special sized board that I could not find anywhere else so I went to Ivey's and Nick in lumber sales was extremely helpful. He got me what I wanted without a problem. When we did our home remodel one of our contractors suggested Seconds and Surplus for some of our…read moreproducts, which we regret getting because everything we bought, which was a farmhouse kitchen sink, a faucet with a pull down sprayer and a Craftsman front door ended up not worth it. Don't get me wrong, everything looks good, but the quality and craftsmanship of each product is low grade. We had to replace the faucet because the sprayer stopped working. We got a Kohler instead and couldn't be happier. Our farmhouse sink just doesn't drain properly. There isn't enough slope from the 4 corners of the sink to drain downwards towards the drain. You have to use your hand to move any food towards the drain. The Craftsman door though looks beautiful is poor insulated which cheap weather strips, not a tight seal. Here's the bottom line, if you want save a few bucks I guess, and don't care about quality, just looks, then this place is for you and for house flippers who put the cheap stuff in their homes when they rent them or sell them.

Someone building or remodeling a home could do well getting out of vogue materials like 8 foot tall walnut bookcases or a complete set of solid wood kitchen cabinets for $1000. We were a bit pressed for time, so we didn't get to really look at everything, other than to take a quick look through the warehouse. The warehouse is a real sensory overload. They also have yard sculpture pieces outside that I did not look at. They have good prices on some really good looking cabinets, as well as doors of all kinds. We have a older house, and so will be slowly renovating. DHW will be our first priority of places to come to for that vintage look, as well as the current stuff. Maria was very nice to show me around, and we were stunned at how much stuff they have.
