I was surprised when less than 5 minutes later the car was delivered by a friendly guy from Sixt Rent A Car. The paperwork included a sign here and the keys. Drop-off was just as easy; I just told them where I parked the car. I didn't pay anything for the use of the car that day, but I did check the rates since the experience was so pleasant. For the Indy area, the rates were comparable, if not a little lower, than the competition. I used the rental location on the North Side of Indianapolis, which seems to be their thing with other locations at the airport and Fishers as well. The bottom line here is that I will use Sixt again. .

Is it me or does closing at 5pm seem quite challenging for their audience to return/pick up cars with a regular work schedule? It was quite dirty, sparse, and generally unkempt. The counter agent wasn't especially professional and appeared to also serve as the on-site mechanic. That said, my rental car itself was clean and performed well with no issues. While the vehicle met my needs, the overall rental experience would lead me to other options in the future.
