It's $10 to play the course most days with tee times starting at 7am and going until it's 6PM, even in the winter. They do have lights at every hole for nighttime play. Sorry folks no reservations here, it's all first come first serve and heads up, t's a walking course only. No golf carts. If you're looking for a no frills, no attitude, no ego golf course this is the place!

The property is clean and the area is quiet with just a little bit of noise from the nearby freeway. They also have a nine hole course attached to the range. If you're feeling warmed up want to play a quick round before I heading out. They don't have as many bays as most driving ranges do, but they offer at least 10-15 bays that have Top Tracer technology. Top Tracer balls, allow you to see where your ball went so you can analyze your swing and try to stop yourself from slicing or hooking the ball. It's pretty helpful, especially for people who just started to play. 50-Balls was about $15, but you're better off getting the jumbo bucket for an extra $6 bucks; it's 150 balls. You're going to wanna hit more than 50 balls anyway. There's typically no time limit while hitting, but I could see that changing if the weather stays warm. When we left there was a line of people waiting to hit. The cafe here has beers, seltzers, Gatorade, water and all of the golf range staples. They do offer full meals here too, both breakfast and lunch. Looking to do relax and get fresh air for under $20? Valley Golf Center is a good place to start.

Throughout the service, staff could be heard in an adjacent room laughing and talking loudly. We had to ask them to close the door multiple times. Then, when the video was cued up to play, it had to be restarted multiple times because first the computer was muted and then the sound wasn't working so the attendant was holding the microphone to the laptop, which was at first shockingly loud and then inconsistent. It was just sad that that was how our family member's service was handled and I wish the staff had been better prepared for us. Hats off to the hosts for rolling with it all and keeping the focus on his celebration of life.

i went on wednesday night with a group that included 2 kiddos (age 4 and 10). it was everyone's…read morefirst time and we didn't have any expectations, but it turned out to be really fun. the golf course is halloween themed with scary props, zombies and ghosts that jump out, spook or sing. luckily, these kiddos weren't scared. the lil one was distracted but we were all able to play. there are 16 holes total and you can score points online by scanning a QR code. everyone got a club appropriate for their size and got to choose a colored ball. the course starts off simple and then gets more clever and challenging. there's also some arcade games and an air hockey table out front. the arcade games are mostly racing or shooting games. the plus is that it's free/included with admission (except for the pinball machine and claw machine games. however, some games were old or broken. a bonus plus is that they allowed ins and outs as long as we had a receipt. we played for an hour and paused midway to step out and grab food. we came back an hour later and were able to continue golfing. overall, a fun wholesome night. the golf course is dimly lit and can get chilly. kids under a certain age are free. admission is priced separately for adults and kids. plenty of parking.

Rented a bike here for a Woodward Park ride and the whole experience was way smoother than…read moreexpected. The location is perfect, literally right there by the park so you're not hauling a bike across town. Wes helped me out and was super knowledgeable, walked me through everything before I took off including how the gears worked and how to break down the bike. Didn't make me feel dumb for asking basic questions. Rental prices are really reasonable. Like cheaper than I expected for how nice the bikes are. Everything was in good condition, nothing janky or broken. They also do repairs which is great to know for when I eventually need that. Staff clearly knows bikes and actually cares about the sport, you can tell its not just a job to them. Oh and there's apparently a shop cat which I fully support. If you want to ride Woodward or any of the trails nearby this is the obvious starting point. Easy, affordable, friendly. Exactly what a local bike shop should be.
