Conversation is always nice and every single person made my sons first experience with golf today awesome. He's 3 and now has been talking about Golf since we left. Really love the cafe too. As more of a hacker than a true golfer, I lost my fair share of golf balls. You could easily walk this course, but there are some hilly areas. Most fairways aren't too long, but there are a couple that are. I ended using a cart cause I was short on time. Finding this place was a little tricky as my phone map took me to the backside neighborhood. The clubhouse is co-located with the Fairway Cafe (in Yosemite Lakes) on Yosemite Springs Parkway. I really enjoyed playing this course. For a short course, it was definitely challenging in spots. The staff I interacted with were super friendly and the greens & fairways were in good shape. I'll definitely play here again if I'm in the neighborhood!

The property is clean and the area is quiet with just a little bit of noise from the nearby freeway. They also have a nine hole course attached to the range. If you're feeling warmed up want to play a quick round before I heading out. They don't have as many bays as most driving ranges do, but they offer at least 10-15 bays that have Top Tracer technology. Top Tracer balls, allow you to see where your ball went so you can analyze your swing and try to stop yourself from slicing or hooking the ball. It's pretty helpful, especially for people who just started to play. 50-Balls was about $15, but you're better off getting the jumbo bucket for an extra $6 bucks; it's 150 balls. You're going to wanna hit more than 50 balls anyway. There's typically no time limit while hitting, but I could see that changing if the weather stays warm. When we left there was a line of people waiting to hit. The cafe here has beers, seltzers, Gatorade, water and all of the golf range staples. They do offer full meals here too, both breakfast and lunch. Looking to do relax and get fresh air for under $20? Valley Golf Center is a good place to start.

Ross, in the clubhouse is nice, helpful, and always friendly. There are a few holes that have low or no water in some of the holes, otherwise the course would be more stunning.

We booked our tee time online, and found the rates to be reasonable compared to Bay Area standards, at $64 per player with a cart. I think it's in the $40s if you want to walk but in the 209 heat, I wouldn't even consider walking lol First time here and I played the blue tees, and one thing I noticed was that this course played really long. Even with good drives I was left with some pretty lengthy approach shots and throughout the course found myself having to be strategic which is always more fun. While the course is completely flat, there's a lot of hazards that make some shots tricky. The bunkers had a lot of sand in them but also lots of rocks so be careful in there. It had just rained the night before so there was a lot of muddy parts and standing water in some areas. The greens were on the slower side and most were in decent shape. I ended up with an eagle on 18, so definitely left feeling great after the round. In terms of pace of play, it was quite slow. We saw a lot of groups with 5 and the round took longer than expected even on what the pro shop said was a slower day for them. I'd imagine on a busy day, I'd thinking it'll be at least a 5 hour round. Pro tip: when looking online at the tee times, they did have a daily deal for a solid discount so if you are flexible with your timing you might be able to save some money.
