The property is clean and the area is quiet with just a little bit of noise from the nearby freeway. They also have a nine hole course attached to the range. If you're feeling warmed up want to play a quick round before I heading out. They don't have as many bays as most driving ranges do, but they offer at least 10-15 bays that have Top Tracer technology. Top Tracer balls, allow you to see where your ball went so you can analyze your swing and try to stop yourself from slicing or hooking the ball. It's pretty helpful, especially for people who just started to play. 50-Balls was about $15, but you're better off getting the jumbo bucket for an extra $6 bucks; it's 150 balls. You're going to wanna hit more than 50 balls anyway. There's typically no time limit while hitting, but I could see that changing if the weather stays warm. When we left there was a line of people waiting to hit. The cafe here has beers, seltzers, Gatorade, water and all of the golf range staples. They do offer full meals here too, both breakfast and lunch. Looking to do relax and get fresh air for under $20? Valley Golf Center is a good place to start.

During that time, I've been to this course about 40-50 times. I've used the driving range and played the nine hole course. The last time I went (3 weeks ago) will be the last time I ever spend my hard earned money there. Overpriced- it's $35 to play nine holes with a broken cart. Half of the greens don't even have full grass coverage. A handful of times I've had my golf cart's battery die before I can even finish. Unfriendly staff- Most of the time I go, I can't tee off on the nine hole course before Jim barrels out of the club house and asks me when I plan to tee off. I've heard every excuse from "it's too hot outside to stay open past 4pm" to "you don't need to hit any practice chips before you tee off. Just hit a few after you guys finish the 9." I've never seen another business owner actively discourage people spending money at their business as much as I've seen Jim do this. Horrendous conditions- if you've been to this course in the last 12 months, I probably don't need to say anything more to you... The greens are made up of dirt on half of the holes and the matts you're supposed to tee of from (when you play from the blacks) are older than the river that flows behind the course. If you play a lot of golf like I do, you know how good it feels to not play the same handful of courses every weekend. That is why I kept returning to play here. I also thought that maybe it was so expensive because they needed money to get the course on the right track again... but after years of seeing the conditions get worse, I'm puzzled as to why it's so expensive. After some reflection, I've realized that, because of the owner's sentiment, I no longer wish to participate in funding this mess of an organization. It pains me to write this, because I love this game, but this is just plain robbery and I hope to save somebody from this experience.

i went on wednesday night with a group that included 2 kiddos (age 4 and 10). it was everyone's…read morefirst time and we didn't have any expectations, but it turned out to be really fun. the golf course is halloween themed with scary props, zombies and ghosts that jump out, spook or sing. luckily, these kiddos weren't scared. the lil one was distracted but we were all able to play. there are 16 holes total and you can score points online by scanning a QR code. everyone got a club appropriate for their size and got to choose a colored ball. the course starts off simple and then gets more clever and challenging. there's also some arcade games and an air hockey table out front. the arcade games are mostly racing or shooting games. the plus is that it's free/included with admission (except for the pinball machine and claw machine games. however, some games were old or broken. a bonus plus is that they allowed ins and outs as long as we had a receipt. we played for an hour and paused midway to step out and grab food. we came back an hour later and were able to continue golfing. overall, a fun wholesome night. the golf course is dimly lit and can get chilly. kids under a certain age are free. admission is priced separately for adults and kids. plenty of parking.

I typically go mid week in the early afternoons, but to be honest, this place is always kind of busy. So plan accordingly. A small bucket will get you about 40 to 50 balls for $11; for three dollars more you get 90 balls, might as well pony up the two-dollars. It's $10 to play the course most days with tee times starting at 7am and going until it's 6PM, even in the winter. They do have lights at every hole for nighttime play. Sorry folks no reservations here, it's all first come first serve and heads up, t's a walking course only. No golf carts. If you're looking for a no frills, no attitude, no ego golf course this is the place!
