First time at the Clovis location! My daughter had been wanting to go back to an indoor playground…read more It was the perfect time since we were around the area. We arrived around 11am there were 2 parties going on and thankfully wasn't busy! Compared to the RP-Fresno location this is smaller but I actually liked it more than Rp. The play area is cleaner. Upon entry we were greeted. You have to sign waivers before you can enter. They had a self-serve kiosk or a QR code you can scan. At the time we arrived the kiosk was a bit lagging so it took a few minutes for us to get our waivers signed. It's about $20 per child (1+) and 2 adult for free per child. Socks are required, you can bring your own or you can purchase there. They give you bins to place your shoes in as it's a no shoe zone once they let you in (you can where your shoes in the bathroom area). They offer lockers for free, they sell snack and drinks. There's plenty of chairs and tables. Your admission is good for the whole day, so keep your receipt if you're planning to leave and come back before they . They have a room where the kids can have a dance party, or play projected arcade games. My husband and I tagged teamed our kids and we were only there for alittle over an hour and they KO'd in the car. If you're looking for a place to get your littles energy out this place is it, guaranteed fun!

A great value for parents looking to keep their kids active and also avoid the brutal summer heat…read more It's $20 per kid and with each kid ticket purchase you're allowed two free adult entry. Plus you get all day access, so you can leave get something to eat and come back to play for free! My kids (8 and 5) love this place and can easily spend three hours here running around. They do offer snacks, ice cream, and drinks, but no full meals. You're allowed to bring water bottles, but no outside food and drink items. I'll be honest, I still bring a few small snacks items in my backpack because 90% of what they sell here, we have in our pantry at home. Looking for a place to host your birthday party? Kids Empire offers packages for up to 10 kids that includes a reserved space, decorations, and return pass to comeback at a later date. Play on!

The club has been around for a long time. They have gone through so many presidents and board…read moremembers, you have to wonder why, This non profit organization has to be smuggling $$ I can not believe in 20 years they do not have their own fields or contract with some nice park or something. Instead they stay with Clovis Unified who hates them and has so many rules that there is never any training due to closed fields. Not all coaches are bad at this club there are ones that truly care about development of all the kids, then there are some that play favorites and if you speak up they will punish your child, and they will ride the bench. When you go up chain of command nothing gets done. I do feel like the Youth Side of the program gets the worst side of it U6-U12. That is where the development and basic training should come from. They expect kids to just know. If you do not work on basics(throwing in a ball) or going through cones is meant to be done with both left and right foot and not just hurry through them, they will never know. Not correcting the problem at training, but screaming at them. How are children supposed to develop this way. Well I guess if your lucky your child will be a favorite and they will succeed. They do not play kids on the B team ready to move up to the A instead they pull from their favorites list. I have seen this comment in reviews multiple times so it cant just be me, making up the favorites and punishing for a parent speaking up. If nothing is being done about this, then it has to make you wonder who is running this crap show. It starts at the top. If they are just letting coaches get away with this behavior then it has to make you wonder, that they are in it for the other $$ reasons other then development. Not to mention create all these younger teams Red White Blue Green etc. Yet have no coaches. You have one coach for multiple teams. Again its about the $$ not the children. Why not give quality over quantity for once. There are a few good coaches but they too should run... Maybe think about coming back when children are older that all they seem to care about here are the older kids and ECNL.

My son has been playing for CA Odyssey since last March…read more My son is currently in U11 and has been playing since kindergarten. So far he has learned more this year about being a keeper than he ever learned playing on other teams. The entire staff loves soccer and does everything possible to ensure the kids are learning the basics of soccer, and having fun. There is no pressure on winning, but the wins come more often than not because of the training they received from the coaching staff. Bringing my son to Odyssey was the best decision I have made for my son since he loves soccer so much.

My biggest concern is that I would like to see more hands-on coaching, guidance, and encouragement from the coaching staff during training. At times, it can feel like a few athletes who are more outspoken or eager to "take the spotlight" dominate the opportunities, while other girls don't always get the same chance to participate, receive feedback, or demonstrate what they've learned. I believe training should be a true team environment where every athlete has an opportunity to learn, make mistakes, receive coaching, and grow. Coaches being more intentional about including and encouraging all athletes would make the experience even better. Overall, I appreciate what Valley Athletics offers and the skills they are teaching. I just hope the program continues to focus on creating an environment where every athlete feels seen, supported, and given a fair opportunity to improve.
