Great, speedy response. A gentleman from the company came out, took a look at the trouble areas and we talked about repairing/replacing the flashing around the skylights as they weren't properly done when skylights were replaced by another company. We also discussed cleaning of skylights and possibly the roof as well. I went back inside while he went to "write up the estimate(s)", thinking he would come back inside when done. After a short while, I went out to see if he was still here. Nope! He was gone. I then looked to see if he left estimate somewhere outside or in mailbox. Nope! Again, nothing. Forward to a couple days later, thinking maybe the estimate was emailed to me; checked both inbox and "spam" ... third Nope! On January 26, I texted Travis (a VP of company) asking about this. No reply from him either. Tried emailing them directly but that is not an option as it always "there was an error...". If they didn't want the job, it would have been nice to know, no harm, no foul. What upsets me the most is they were highly recommended by a good friend. Guess I expected a more professional way of doing business.

He asked a really high price, I thought we are using good material, and agreed. During the installation, he did not cover the unfinished area properly, the rain got in my house twice. He came during the evening and covered that, but the damage was there already. I was not very happy but I did not let him know. Before finish, he requested me to pay the last 1/3 in advance, I did not agree at first, but he said he has some hardship, so I paid. 1 month after the installation I encountered one big leakage. He helped me to fix it and told me it is caused by the clogged gutter. I believed him. 3 years later, I now faces multiple leakage. My inside wall has water marks and it is worse than my old roof. He does not reply to my message or call at all. I have consulted multiple roof repair companies their all gave similar conclusion. He did this job like he hated me. All the corners and edges were not properly addressed. There are nail marks there. Yet I used almost the best material in the market, and paid about double of the current market price. I now pay $$$$$ to fix it and there are water marks on my walls and ceilings. He is the worse vendor I ever hired in the last 15 years.

At that time, my low slope roof had material that required regular maintenance, which clashes with a set it and forget it guy like me. I received my comprehensive bid, that was much more through than other bids I received, if I even received them at all. When it came time to start the job, I met Camilo's brother Eduardo. Him and the crew did a great job, I again went up on the roof to see what they were doing and they were gracious with their knowledge and answering my questions. Included in this work were other roof related things, like skylights, insulation, and gutters. The bid included all those items that were handled by subcontractors, that shared Edca's meticulous attention to doing good work. This all took place in 2015 and I have watched the crew do 2 neighbors roofs, one last summer and one this week. It reminded me that I need to catch up on my Yelping. I'm on my roof regularly as my big trees like to drop debris seemingly year round and I can handle the maintenance of keeping the roof and gutters cleared. 8 years later, everything still looks great and torchdown materials I selected are performing as expected.

This is a tuff one to review. First off giving a review on a roof when its only been a handful of…read moremonths seems too early but ill try. Working with the office manager was a pleasure. Working with the owner was OK. I got 3 bids and Stewart roofing was the lowest but there is a catch that you'll need to consider. Stewart's bid doesn't include Ice and Water shield. It wasnt on the bid as an option either. The others did include it. When i inquired about this i was informed it wasn't necessary. I did some research and 99% of other companies i checked with said its important. Im scratching my head at this point. I had somewhat of a working relationship with Stewart (they did a previous repair which went great) so i took Richard's word cause of his longevity in the career. I asked a lot of questions and they finally gave a cost to do it which i should of accepted but thought it was too high so i didn't. Im a bit concerned about that but only time will tell. The roof seems fine for the most part. Im not an expert. The job went fine with a couple hiccups. I struggled with leaving a review considering my concerns but here i am.
