After waiting 1/2 the Summer, they never showed up and, after asking multiple times to return my $1,600 deposit, my next step is to litigate. Team Roofing NW 19011 68th ave South Suite A-111 Kent, WA 98032 253-273-5040

Almost done! Old porch roof was warped and COVERED in moss!

I just had them install a new roof on my house, and LOVE IT! The team is super friendly, easy to work with and will give you a straight answer to any concerns. The crew that came to my home were prompt, respectful and courtious. They figured out how to get the supplies up to my roof, despite it being a logistical mess due to layout and trees. They did a fantastic clean up job, and even made sure my front porch was cleaned! The office staff were equally pleasant. All around, a fantastic experience, with zero complaints! I got a LOT of quotes, and these guys have the big companies beat by thousands! I definitely plan to use them again!

Great company! Great price! Great quality! Blown away by attention to detail. Would not ever even consider working with anyone else.

Once the job began, the crew was polite, worked very hard and was incredibly kind and respectful of my family and property. Again, I could not be happier. Thank you Greencity!

I had the hardest time trying to just get into my home this whole week. I would get yelled at for walking under the caution tape, but couldn't get to my front door without doing so. I would get yelled at for trying to walk in through my garage. Finally last day that they are here, today, I was told they would be gone by noon. I got here at 1 they were still there so I left and came back they were still there at 5pm. Mind you the entire time they were here. They hadn't been working. Two of the days they were here they only worked until noon, and then left. When the job could have easily been done that day. When I parked in front of their dumpster so I could go inside my home. They yelled at me again for trying to get into my own home, were laughing at me. And one of the workers called me fat. I am 9 months pregnant and my due date is tomorrow. I tried my best to be graceful during this whole thing. But these workers were extremely rude. Disrespectful and not only had they broke our ring camera but pictures and signs we had up in our home flew off the wall and broke because how hard they were going. Mind you we have had work done on our home roof before and never experienced anything like this. Very disappointing.

They saved us money by being competitively priced and without cutting corners. Tony walked my husband and me through all that would need to be done to insure that our house would be safe from any further water damage. The previous owners had a deck installed without flashing and a dryer vent incorrectly installed costing us time and money. I'm telling my friends and family about this company. I have such peace of mind knowing that as we find more things wrong with our house, Tony and his crew will do it right the first time and only charge for what is done. I was really surprised that there were any negative reviews because that wasn't our experience at all. Maybe it was a different crew back then.

Additionally, Sound Siding has done a recent $150,000 re-siding project on a West Seattle condo building where I'm a Board member. Their crew covered-up at least one dryer vent with siding by mistake, their grave oversight only recently discovered by accident when our dryer vents were cleaned. Dozens if not a hundred loads of wet laundry have been dried with the moisture being evaporated either UNDER the new siding or into the crawl space where it can cause damage like black mold!! This is an appalling mistake, to cover up a dryer vent with siding! Although Tony's crew does competent work, my own $15,000 deck project in 2015 should have taken only 2-3 months, but dragged on for 6 months while Tony pursued larger condo projects. Tony also told me the unfortunate story of his daughter, and I am sorry for anyone who loses a loved one, especially a child. He sat at my dining table for 2 hours in 2015 and cried when he shared the story, and we got tears in our eyes as well. At the end of his talk, I wrote him a check for $10,000-12,000 to cover the 80-90% partially completed work. Next, 6 months of broken promises went by before our deck was finished and the scaffolding removed. For 6 months we had no deck railing and a 30 foot drop off our master bedroom deck, with plastic and scaffolding left on 3 stories of our house because the project was 90% complete but Tony wouldn't finish the all-important last 10% to put the railing in. At one point, I began to doubt the stories Tony told me claiming our deck railing was on order, so we actually called the deck railing manufacturer and discovered he'd never phoned in the order for our railing despite repeated assurances he'd done so. There were many days he promised Bruce would work on our deck where Bruce just wouldn't show and we'd be left leaving voicemails and texts for Tony that went unreturned. Sound Siding was the epitome of a nightmare contractor experience. While I feel badly he lost his daughter so many years ago, the fact that the story was shared in what I thought was a heartfelt conversation than was then followed by a 6 month nightmare really rubs me the wrong way, and I still remember it 3.5 years later. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt but we got burned so many days with Sound Siding. I would never do business with Sound Siding again.

They gave me a good bid for fiber cement board siding. I will admit some problems were due to my communication errors; and another challenge was I was not in the state when the project was going on unfortunately. So I appreciate their efforts to accommodate me when I requested pictures of the project progress. one error I made was a wrong paint color and I appreciate that they did not charge me extra for correcting my error. There were however, problems with returning my exterior fixtures back to the locations that they were before the project began (flag mount hose mounts, solar lights, circuit breaker box ground wire covers) I think my feedback for them for their future work, would be to take video or pictures pre and post and compare to make sure everything is cleaned up and returned as expected (so The customer doesn't have to bring it up to them).

It was a traumatic experience. There was no direction from the foreman/manager. My requests were not fulfilled. I explained about the areas that I wanted not to be done, as I had planned to later put stained wood siding on those areas and come home to find them Hardi Planked. They stepped on and broke my bushes which are permanently damaged. They broke my kitchen garden window and said it "it looked like it was broken on the inside" inferring that I had broken it. They had garbage thrown all over my yard the entire time and my front covered porch looked like a homeless camp with food left there and thrown on the door leaving grease stains . They also left a microwave there for months to heat their food. Not an experience I would want to relive. Ugh.

In the morning someone called and said that installers are on the way and that they don't have screens and person will check what happened and let us know. No one called us after. So that isn't installers fault. The day after they called us and said that we have last payment left, we said okay, that isn't a problem but where are our screens. The person was surprised and said you didn't received them. We said no, we miss all of them and when we get them we will pay. We just wanted to protect ourselves as a customer, because the job wasn't done. The person said okay. No one called us, no updates, nothing. And then we got letter from Dawn and Rod. The letter is so inappropriate, especially when job isn't done. Also it is threatening... Just to know first someone pays you 90% of the project, do you really think that 10% is something. This isn't about money, it is our protection as a customer to be sure that you will finish your job. Also if you have called us and explained everything we would pay. Also when you have an appointment you should double check if you have everything for the project... If you're missing something, then you should let know the customer before installers were on the way and let us know when we will have a missing part! It is all about communication and kindness! Also just to add in the letter you wrote one balance and in the contract we have another. So I think that we can take further action for unfinished job and 2 different amounts.

Key Issues & Timeline: February 8, 2024: Signed the contract. The sales process was smooth, and I felt confident in Champion's promises. February 17, 2024: During his first visit to my home to verify measurements, the project manager shocked me by exposing himself and urinating on the side of my house. This disturbing, unprofessional behavior was not only unacceptable but set a deeply negative tone for the entire project, and I have yet to receive a formal written apology from Champion for this incident. May-June 2024: Despite my repeated follow-ups, there was no clear communication on project progress. Conversations were vague and provided no real updates. August 1, 2024: After months of delays, the permit application was finally submitted to Thurston County--much later than expected due to miscommunication and errors within Champion's team. September 26, 2024: Thurston County informed us of additional Habitat Conservation Plan (HCP) requirements, but Champion failed to inform me. I had to reach out myself to get clarification on these requirements. October 14, 2024: After raising repeated complaints, Champion offered to replace a door and window on my property as compensation. While I appreciated the gesture, it did not address the fundamental issues of mismanagement, lack of professionalism, and extreme delays. I requested a discount to reflect the extensive time and effort I had invested to manage Champion's responsibilities, but this was denied. October 31 & November 4, 2024: I reached out to Tim Young, a VP at Champion, in the hopes of escalating the matter to get better accountability and communication. Unfortunately, his lack of follow-up and response has only further demonstrated the unprofessionalism I've encountered at every level within Champion. Overall Experience & Impact Over the past 9+ months, I've invested more than 80 hours in emails, phone calls, and direct coordination with county officials to manage a project Champion was contracted to handle. This experience has caused over $10,000 in additional costs and lost time. Champion's inability to manage or communicate about the project has left me without a clear timeline for completion and feeling constantly neglected. Conclusion Champion Windows has failed to meet even the most basic standards of professionalism and customer service. From the project manager's shocking behavior of exposing himself and urinating on my property to poor communication, endless delays, and unresponsiveness from upper management, this experience has been exhausting and costly. I regret choosing Champion Windows and strongly advise others to consider the numerous poor reviews across platforms like PissedConsumer, Yelp, Trustpilot, and ConsumerAffairs before making a decision.
