Update 2: Realized 2 weeks later that one of them kicked a dent in my $4k front door probably because of a dispute I had with them. Unprofessional, awful, company. FIND ANOTHER ROOFER!!! I had brain surgery 3 months ago, I really don't need this crap. Don't recommend nd, still finding roofing nails around my house. Update. They did try to make it right in a way. I have to give them credit for that. That turns this review from a 1 to a 3. The damage to the interior of my house still exists and is ultimately up to me to fix. The roofing is fixed and the flashing is done to standard after having them come back and do it right the second time. They will throw the contract at you so make sure it covers you "the customer" up front if you decide to go with this company. Original: This is an extremely unprofessional, overpriced company that does not stand by the work they do and will not remedy issues caused by their company. Like other reviewers say, there is a language barrier while work is happening. While they are at your house, WATCH THEM LIKE A HAWK and video them being unprofessional if you have to. They did the job incorrectly on my roof vents, drip edge and flashing. Customer should be able to trust a contractor.... you can't trust them. PERIOD. The "toss" heavy roof material leaving cracks in drywall and damage to your house, which they will not take responsibility for. They even damaged my kitchen cabinets due to the vibration and rough work leaving my new cabinets coming off the wall. They simply blow debris around to "clean up" your yard. it's disgusting and these people don't deserve to be in business. They are absolutely not worth the price and only care about money. I Love these guys! (Tristan Bigger and his partner, David) My mom had a metal panel on the roof of her barn blown off and needed repairing. True Blue didn't keep her waiting all day for them to give her an estimate they came out right away and quoted her a very affordable price. They showed up for work early and while fixing the panel noticed a few additional panels missing in the back. Once again, they were awesome with their customer service and the quote was more than reasonable! These Guys are Great! Called them out for an estimate for repair of some damaged ridge caps and a small hole at the end of one ridge. Our roof is a 8/12 pitch, sixteen years old and still has about four or five years of life left. David came out took a look, thought he had some matching ridge cap back at his yard, came back an hour later and got to work. He spent about and hour and repaired four diferent areas, took picture to show me before and after. These days it's so hard to find someone to come out for a small job on a steep roof. We just had our roof and gutter replaced by this company. Our experience with them has been horrible they talked about how their guys were the best . Well they didn't show up to our house with those guys . The 4.9 rating was the reason we went with them thought we were in good hands . So this negative experience that we had they really don't care about cause they never did make it a better experience for us . The work they did they had to parts over because we said something to them they would have never done it other wise . They had to come back the next day and also fix things . They wouldn't meet us in the middle with the extra costs we ended up paying . I would never recommend this company to anyone . Just want people to be aware. Almost a year after we had our roof done I discovered that bugs had been getting in from our skylights. After a little confusion on scheduling, owner talked to me and assured me it would get done asap. When an owner is there in the office, you know the crew is going to care about the customers. I don't know if they were supposed to have put weatherstripping on the skylights or not when they did the roof, but when I called to let True Blue know, they didn't hesitate to come out and have a look. Dave came out right away, even though they had a lot going on and assessed that we just needed a little weatherstripping and that because it was a part of the roof that they'd take care of it. He came back in a couple days and popped them both off and installed the weatherstripping with a smile. He was truly a wonderful man and even took some pics so we saw what it was that was done to fix the issue for us. I'll continue to recommend them as a stand up company that backs their work. I live in a gated community with large signs that say "no soliciting" yet this morning I am woken up by a door to door salesman for true blue roofing. When asked if he saw the big signs he of course said he didn't see them and he left... not really though because that's how true blue roofing decided they wanted to conduct themselves professionally because by ignoring the posted signs and deliberately waking people up just makes sense to them. Instead of actually leaving the community he just went to the next house to wake those people and so on and so forth. That type of shady behavior is not something anyone should hire. Do yourself a favor and maybe look at people who advertise respectfully in the paper or online and not the illiterate door to door con man at true blue roofing. read more

This company was double the price of my most expensive quote coming in at a whopping 34k. I also have a somewhat flat roof, nothing difficult or complicated, TPO, less than 2,000 square ft. This wasn't even to replace all the plywood. They only quoted me for 30 sheets (960 sqft). I messaged Mike on FB and he said he would get back to me the next day to see what's going but he never honored that. I would definitely shop other companies before pulling the trigger unless you are into paying more than a reasonable cost and need the financing... My opinion was the exact opposite of what they are advertising on FB! read more

True Blue Roofing is a fantastic company to work with and someone we feel confident recommending to family and friends. In todays time this is a hard one because there are so many options and with that so many flakes or poor service. Michael the owner was responsive to our request and setup a meeting to come and gives us a quote in person and walk us through the process. Now I know a lot of people would just like to skip this step and say give me a price, I know I did. But it was good to have Mike walk me around the house and not only tell me the process but areas of concern (Wet or rotting underlayment) to look into so we didn't get a surprise once the bill came. We also discussed multiple different options in cost and colors available. One thing that I also liked after getting 7 quotes, was that Mike is a family owned company and doesn't operate using commissioned sales people and receptionist that when it comes down to it you pay for. Mikes crew are very detailed oriented and continued to clean up behind themselves making it easier on us while home. They are very efficient and worked with the Washington weather to get our home completed in a timely manner. We had great success with True Blue Roofing. If you are considering a new roof for your home. I would not hesitate one bit contacting them and getting a quote. read more

I had a roof and gutters installed for $30K 2 years ago by True Blue Roofing. Shortly after the installation the gutters were not slopped correctly causing water to pool and leaks out of the seams. I called True Blue but there was no response. Now 2 years later, I'm seeing buckle in the roofing material. I wouldn't recommend this company. We just had our roof replaced. 1. Stayed home all day for materials delivery. Never showed up, never called me. 2. Day 2 work started but ended with a ball point pen (True Blue pen) left on ground outside and brought in by my dog and chewed on carpet leaving large stain. The stain was eventually removed but only after promptin. 3. Day 3 after explicitly asking for any work vehicles arriving stop at our gate and call me. This didn't happen. 4. 2 days later the crew arrived and opened the gate without calling and my dogs got loose. Took us about an hour to search and find them in our rural neighborhood. 5. Even after the dogs got out the crew continued to come and go without calling for us to take the dogs inside the house. 6. This is a Hispanic crew which is fine but none of them spoke english well enough to carry on a conversation. 7. Our bathroom fan was never reconnected after the roofing was completed. 8. An anchor on our roof was removed and the cables snapped. Cost us over $100 to replace. 9. The roof left one day (I never was told when to expect them or if they left would they be back????) The left around 1pm one day and left the air compressor running on my electrical service. It was on for about 2 hours. 10. The house roof is done but they were also to reroof our garage. They forgot and I had to remind them. 11. There is still dirt on my house siding where they were dropping old roofing into their trailer. Along with the smears there is also a muddy handprint. To summarize: The complete and utter lack of communication from this company. The work crew is not adequately trained to handle this basic roof replacement. The language barrier with the crew was troublesome. Our dogs coudl have been hit by a car and killed. The lack of ability to contact a live person. Also they always called my husband in response to my messages. Not cool. This roof cost just under $40,000.00. For that amount of money we should not have to deal with this type of crummy service. read more

Horrible experience from the start. Roofing material showed up without notice which prompted me to call and ask when they were scheduled to start (poor communication lasted through to the end). Crew left snack and lunch trash all over the yard for the duration of the install and I caught several of them urinating behing the garage. The roofing debris was left on the grass in the hot sun all day killing some of the grass. During the install the crew significantly damaged the siding while beating on the metal flashing with hammers. They hit the siding in many locations and broke off big chunks of siding. They also smashed several gutters somehow. I had the roof inspected and the inspector indicated, among other things, that there were many shingles along the flashing lines that were not laying flat to the roof that was probably caused by improper installation of the metal flashing which was (is) also all smashed up. After four visits to repair the damage and correct the deficiencies between July 8th and September 10th the siding is still damaged and needs to be replaced, some of the metal was replaced but some of it is still smashed and needs to be replaced. The owner and the Project Manager admitted responsibility and were apologetic but didn't supervise the initial install or any of the repairs and still have not fixed everything. I have a proposal from a siding company to fix the damage they caused to the siding for more than $10,000. Horrible experience, horrible company. read more

I had two issues to resolve. First I had a leak and second I wanted to replace the old roof. Two other companies tried to stop it but could not find the location. True Blue Roofing came out and quickly located the location of the leak and repaired it until they could replace the roof. When they came out to replace the roof the entire job was completed in one day. Clean up was exceptional. They were friendly, honest, and communicated well from the start. Did not explain the whole process, when they came out to do the take off/estimate the owner over estimated the SQ FT by 500sqft Mike tried to say that this was for incidentals and cutoff waste (bruh 500SQft really), his original estimate was 9,000$ higher than others. I went and measured the sqft myself and he definitely up charged me. He did not explain that the financing company would place a lean on my house ultimately preventing me from refinancing my house. The whole process was shitty, the work looks good I will say that but that's because he hired outside workers to install, but the business end is complete garbage. I tried to back out a month before hand and he told me the material was being delivered that day and I couldn't. I have text messages Proving all of this so Mike if you deny it I will add all text messages to this post proving it.. All I'm saying is the guy is not trustworthy in my opinion. If he gives you an estimate go out and measure it yourself and get a 2nd estimate from somewhere else. Shame on you man SHAME!!!! read more
