Pricing was very competitive. Alex and his crew did a fantastic job installing my deck stairs and porch, they are beautifully done and very sturdy. Far better than what we had before. They were there within 2 days of hire and completed the work within 2 days. We told them not to paint but Alex threw in paint for just the cost of materials, which was nice. Although, I wish I had some say on the color since they didn't ask beforehand and I would have loved a natural stain instead. The crew was very kind, they'd even bring my packages into the garage for me and make sure to close the garage door when they were done. The work is sturdy, done right, and I feel confident will last. My only point of advice is to just be more mindful of the garden. I had just purchased and planted 6 new plants and had a succulent ground cover I had been working to grow out for years. It was all so trampled I thought maybe they had dug it out at first. It would have been nice to get warning so I could dig it up myself (since it was fresh planted) or for them to step around it. Overall, I'd definitely hire GAB again (and likely will to finish our deck soon) and will reccomend them to friends and family. They're responsive, quick, easy to communicate with, the work looks beautiful and done right, and the value for the price is terrific.

I thought the estimate was fair and appropriate for the cost of the materials, the demo, and the labor. A lot of the other contractors were giving me ridiculously low bids, which I knew were shady and they hadn't measured the area. They came within a few days in same day. I had a new, completely rebuilt dock, which is fabulous. They kept the area clean while they were working, and I barely knew they were there, totally respectful. I am so happy to have my dock back so that I can play on the lake.

We had an excellent experience with Wise Choice. Our project was two bathroom remodels, quite…read moreextensive. The only issues we had were time and occasional communication problems. Wise Choice uses a platform for selecting materials and so forth that was great in theory, rather questionable in practice, and our wires got crossed more than a few times. The time issue was simply that the projects took a bit longer than we'd planned. The time problem though was at least partly our fault (changing our minds about design, etc), and that was compounded by suppliers actually sending the wrong product on occasion, so certainly not all a Wise Choice issue. Other than that, they were great to work with, very pleasant people all around, very conscientious (cleaning up work spaces thoroughly every day), and the entire project came in under budget! We will definitely reach out to them again for our next remodel.

We first learned about Wise Choice through Yelp, and although we were initially nervous about choosing a contractor for such a large job (they gave us the best estimate, by far!) without a personal recommendation, we couldn't be happier with our decision. They were great to work with throughout the entire process, from architectural and engineering plans, permitting, and the actual construction. The project manager, Sergiy, and foreman, Bogdan, were very honest, helpful, and responsive every step of the way. The project was completed pretty much on budget (with only a couple of unforeseen issues outside of their control) and on time. We love the results, and several people have commented that the addition looks like it should have been there all along. We can't recommend Wise Choice highly enough!

I knew this would be a expensive fix as we were going to paint the full exterior of the home once siding repairs were complete. I had about 6 different companies out to bid the work on our house all ranging above my budget for just the siding repairs. Sam and his team from Side Pros came out to do a bid and not only did they beat all the bids he took the time to explain what they would do and provide me with different options to stay within my budget. I also had a deadline to get things done as we had a date for exterior paint starting in a couple weeks. Sam knew this and was able to assemble a crew to get the project moving along quickly. The crew he assembled was amazing and I'm still truly impressed with how good their work is. This project was daunting to me as no wants to spend money on siding and it was important I found the right company for the job that wouldn't rip me off and does quality work. I can honestly say I trust Sam and his crew at Side Pros and would reccomend them over and over. They beat all my expectations and do incredible work. The Rot Doctor did an excellent job from start to finish. They carefully removed the rotten siding, boards, and supports while temporarily supporting the wall, then installed a new pressure-treated sill, water-resistant siding, flashing, and belly band, with everything properly caulked and sealed. The workmanship was very high quality. All the cuts were precise, with clean lines, no gaps, and everything felt sturdy and well-built. They also went above and beyond by replacing and reinforcing some warped supports that weren't originally part of the scope. They were experienced and clearly knew how to approach the job, and they were great to work with throughout. Communication and customer service were excellent--we were able to discuss the work as it progressed and adjust the scope when needed. They were punctual, worked efficiently, and completed the entire job in just three days. The pricing was also competitive. Overall, we're very satisfied with the work and would definitely recommend The Rot Doctor.
