The tests gave me a lot of great information and I was able to continue with the supplements she had recommended. It helped immensely that one tests identified 5 major food sentivities and removing them from my diet help alot. But a couple years after that, my gut got really bad again and I was always in pain, exhausted and sick. I had 4 friend who had been seeing Dr Varon and at their recommendation I finally made an appointment with him. His healing protocol for my leaky gut, the cause of my belly pain works. It isn't cheap, but it is way cheaper than getting cancer and digestive cancers run very strongly on both sides of my family. Again I am feeling much better and evey time I have another followup with Dr Varon he makes a change in my morning shake which makes my feel a little better still. The only thing I can figure on why he has so many bad reviews are due to preconceived expectations. Just because another doctor, or your own research shows other supplements may help, they are not generally part of a full protocol for healing. If you see him, are open to what he says, respect his knowledge and ask questions at the end of your appointment you will find healing without big pharma and a wonderful doctor. If you just want surgery and/or pharmaceuticals, he is not the doctor for you. He is has a great sense of humor and bedside manner. I had scheduled my colonoscopy and when the day came, it went very smoothly. My IV out in the first time was not working and I was already pricked twice before that. But the anesthesia nurse was able to reinsert another IV on my right arm and did it perfectly and worked. Then I was knocked out super quick and woke up by another nurse telling me everything went well and my procedure was done an hour ago. Super quick. I had been in local San Roman ER 3 times due to severe stomach pains but we're discharged without finding cause of the pain. Due to severe pain and dehydration, I was admitted to John Muir ER instead this time. Dr Chin did not waste anytime and started series diagnostics tests. The complex ERCP procedure was done nicely. It not only removed bile duct stones but also prevent future issues under bile duct. I would say Dr Chin is the best GI doctors I have had so far and would highly recommend him if you are looking for GI doctor. I also visited the office today. No wait time and all staffs are very friendly and accommodating.
