Just over a year after installation, the new pool coating is failing. There are numerous voids where the coating did not adhere to the pool shell. Those sections are now discolored, and calcium flakes are forming where air voids exist behind the coating. Best Florida Pool and Spas acid washed the surface earlier this year. This would have been an opportunity to identify the adhesion problem, but the issue was either not recognized or not communicated to me. Separately, Best Florida Pool and Spas installed a heater a few years ago that remains under warranty. The circuit board has failed. I have requested the purchase invoice needed to file a warranty claim, and they have not provided it. My recommendation to anyone considering this company: put a formal written contract in place before proceeding, so that you have clear documentation and legal recourse if problems arise.

I'm leaving this review now because we currently have a great pool guy! Brandon consistently does a great job with our pool. He comes at the same time every week, cleans well and never leaves a mess (with leaves, mud, etc.)

Wemple Pools needs a HUGE attitude adjustment and this is one of many ways I plan to give it to them. I arrived home around 5:45-5:50 tonight and one of their trucks pictured below was sitting in front of my home, not the home they were servicing. Yes, the road is the road and parking is public, however my family is elderly and when they come home for the weekend we reserve the driveway for them and I park in front of the house. Fine, I waited, I sat behind him and was pleasant. My son got out and tried to ask him if he could merely scoot up a bit so I could park and he cursed at my kid. I got out and tried to explain to him my family is elderly and we have been parking here for nine years and he should park by his customers home and he proceeded to curse me from one orbit to the next not limited to but including "fat b****, self righteous b****, ignorant" and so on. Informed me "you don't own the GD road you fu***** Karen", "go f***" yourself" and even threatened ME that he was going to call the cops. I happily obliged because he was met with kindness from not only my child but me too. My response (against my inner will) was "sir are you alright....." and he kept cursing and yelling. B. W. Wemple employee kept cursing and yelling, and rolled his window up on me. I sat behind him waiting to park in my usual spot for five minutes. It wasn't until I got out and walked to my neighbors door to tell her what had happened with her pool guy that he sped off in a fury to the culdesac where he sat for maybe ten minutes. Yes, it seems petty, but I was trying to explain my family members are elderly and they park in the driveway for easier access and when they are home I take the road parking. He didn't care. He called me everything but late for supper. I explained to my neighbor what happened and she was upset. When done talking to her I went to my usual parking spot and started helping my newly arrived family get groceries out of the car and carry them in. My children were helping as well. He then comes back around, slams to a hault, rolls his windows down and proceeds to continue to cuss me out in front of not only my elderly family but BOTH my kids this time. That's when I told him to get the hell out of our neighborhood, told him he had no morals or values not only screaming and speaking to a woman that way but a child too. Unreasonable behavior, absolutely volatile actually seeing as how I approached calmly despite the absolute probable cause after speaking to my son the way he did... he met that with some comment about me being a fat b**** and ME having no morals and whatever else he said while rolling his windows up. And yes, I get it, the road is the road and parking isn't guaranteed, HOWEVER, when you're servicing someone's home you could park by their home and if someone is as nice as we were and asked you to just scoot a little so we could park normally like we have been doing for nine years, it shouldn't be met with that amount of verbal assult. Never in my life man... B.W Wemple, unreal. Unprofessional and I will be in your office Monday. Everyone beware of the unstable man in this vehicle. He claims to have this encounter on video and I for one hope he does and if you're in here, you absolute miserable man, PLEASE post it because the one time I'm nice and I am trying to teach my kids to not meet rage with rage you accuse me of yelling at you I hope you do have it on camera because I was too livid to remember I even owned a phone, probably lucky for you. Unreal and I would consider other options before hiring this company if they employ people like this.
