    This is probably the worst experience I've ever had with a contractor. I hired them to take care of a pool at a house I bought, but wasn't living at yet. When I moved in on October 9th, after they supposedly serviced the pool 3 times, it was absolutely disgusting with debris all over the bottom of the pool. When I brushed it to try to clean it up the whole pool turned cloudy where you couldn't even see the bottom. The next week when the technician returned he looked surprised someone was living in the house and it was pretty apparent he was just showing up, filling out a service card, and then leaving. I asked him to explain how my pool valves worked and he just said "well everything is working so you don't want to touch it". When he left that day the drain was turned completely off and all the suction was going through the skimmer. In the six times he serviced my house he didn't empty the pump pump strainer or clean the pool filter once. They were disgusting with debris and calcium build up everywhere. I emailed the salesman who signed me up explaining everything above with pictures and he never responded. I called the office to confirm my service had been canceled and no surprise it hadn't been. She made me explain everything over the phone even though I told them I already emailed them. She just said "okay you won't be charged for next months service and you and now canceled. Not even 2 hours went by and I had a new charge on my credit for the next month. I had to dispute the charge and a few hours later they refunded the charge. They never apologized for anything and didn't try to make it right. I never judge a company based on an interaction with one individual because there are always bad apples, but I all three of the people I dealt with here were completely unprofessional in everyway. Save your time and money and go with another company.

    @PoolsBm We had Atlas build our pool at our previous home and we were extremely happy with the service. We moved several years ago and been using BM Wemple for pool service. Part of our contract vacuuming is included (for an additional fee), brushing our tiles, maintain our equipment, etc. I can count on 1 hand how many times they vacuumed our pool. I believe that they only put salt in my pool once. The tiles are half a.. cleaned (as you can see from the dirt line and calcium built-up). The manager never returns calls. I had to send them a video several times showing their techs several times not doing their jobs, because he doesn't believe me. They are usually here 15-20 min. max and they leave and they show up whenever they want. Today I went to Pich a penny to have my water tested. Come to find out my pool has no chlorine because it has 0 salt. I checked my salt chlorination and it is not working (I am sure they never cleaned/checked it either). Now I am going to be out $800 for a new chlorinator and install. The pool is out of commission until the part comes, but they are extremely quick on recommending that you need a new filter for an additional fee. The manager the few times I am able to get in touch with him makes me feel that it's my fault that his staff can't do their job and still expects me to pay him the full amount. I feel that I should be reimbursed for all the times they never vacuumed my pool and for a new chlorinator they didn't properly maintain.     We started our progress in April and finalized the end of May. they didn't start building until last week of August & filled it the week of Thanksgiving. in that 7 month process. this company has been less than customer focused, everything is an excuse. A project manager that wanted to argue with you when you asked him a question. I guess it was having a tough time. he quit smoking and drinking so he decided he to take it out on his customers. When I've emails the owner last week and copied several Atlas people his response to his team was, " will someone respond to this gentlemen, and not even address ME or my concerns, or even an apology, I guess It bothered him that i sent him an email. 30 days after they have received all their money and filled the pool. I still have a pile of dirt in my back yard, plaster on my tiles, uneven finish in pool, unpainted pool deck, and nothing but excuses. Their response to the wavy, pitted pool floor is "In regards to the uneven finish that is normal because it is a hand applied product it is impossible for them to get that perfectly flat" When they came to turn on the pool, we pointed out to the guy that there was white plaster all over the tiles and he said, " You can scrape them off with a putty knife" Hello, that's what i paid you 60K for....... the automated equipment we purchased from them, he said you don't need to worry about that. Their Customer service manager Cameron talks down to you. not a person in their organization can or will apologize or take ownership of any of their mistakes It appears it is not in their DNA. I really liked the sales Rep, he was a really nice guy, but I guess they accept crappy craftsmanship and mediocre results.

    This company is terrible. I paid for weekly cleaning and maintenance and they never seemed to actually clean. Here are photos of my "clean" pool a day after the service guy came. Not only is it somehow more dirty than when they began but, there was a pile of some substance left on the edge of the spa. Perfect for my 2 year old daughter to go play with..... One week I had someone fill in for the normal guy and he said it looked like the filter hadn't been cleaned in months. Go anywhere else, there are plenty of better options.

    BMWemple have been servicing my pool for 4 weeks. They took over from All Seasons Pools and it's never looked worse. Stains all over and a general lack of pride in their finished product. Then today one of my valves was damaged whilst the tech was here. bMW now want to charge me for the repair and cannot even have a technician out till next week. Nope and Good bye.

My husband discovered, after hearing them beating on our filter with a hammer, that they had broken a pipe and merely fixed it with tape. Of course, it was our fault, not theirs Even though they were the only people to touch our equipment in the year we used them. We recently had a company come and redo our pool Solar and while doing that they took the filter apart and looked at it.. They did not believe that the filter had been cleaned in the year that pinch a penny had been servicing our pool. The solar installers cleaned our filter as best they could, but now due to Pinch a Penny's lack of service we must replace our filter. If you value your pool, you will not use this company. The manager also said that he had received weekly reports on our pool, telling him everything that had been done. We never received one report showing what had been done. This company is bad business, stay away.

    The store is much much different now that it's under different management (not sure if same…read moreowner?). When I used to come here I was always greeted by the same team of people and they became familiar and were always friendly, helpful, and honest. Now there's a different gentleman who manages this location and doesn't seem as on top of things. There are some younger employees there that seemingly have an unpleasant attitude (at least most of them) and that's if they speak to you. Have gotten inaccurate pool tests recently. Just doesn't seem like customer service and accuracy is a priority now.

So with all that said first my wife and my daughter went to the Pinch-A-Penny Pool store to get what we needed to clean the pool which was some chlorine and the employees there were really awesome my daughter was looking @ some thermos cups they asked her which one she really liked and they gave it to her for free because it was her birthday. We brought back the chemicals and used them on the pool and for some reason something wasn't working because the pool wasn't turning the right color. My wife and I went back to the store with a water sample to se what was wrong and why the water wasn't cleaning right, so Parker tested the water told us what was wrong and recommended what we needed to get the pool ready for our daughter's birthday and he also gave us a discount on the chlorine that we bought. I really love when associates go above and beyond with their customer services, it means they are dedicated to their job and they want to give you the best service possible. I would really recommend this Pinch-A- Penny Pool store because they provide great customer service.
