I moved to CNY in 2003. We had some really messed up septic issues and I called Northrup because…read morethey were close and I'd heard good things. He came out, looked at the problem WITHOUT digging it up... and looked at me and my four teenage boys and said "I could dig it up, to diagnose the problem. That's $75 an hour....Or... You can dig it up yourself, and I can come back tomorrow." He didn't charge me a cent for coming out. Bless that man. I took my sons and I 2 hours to find the opening, but we did it. Dewey came back the next morning , opened up (with me), explained the problem (hard water plus crappy powder soap was equaling a massive build up near the exit into the septic--he even showed me it), and he diagnosed it like an MD: Use better soap. Liquids. It did the trick. How many businesses do you know that actually tell you how to stop your problems? This is the most honest business owner in CNY. I only know this man through having him out to look at my septic. But I was so impressed. A few years later, I had a septic issue on a weekend. I called, and he explained that he and his family were about to go on vacation. I was frantic and told him, "You're the only person I trust with my septic." And that's the truth. He was there at my house at 9am, before he left on vacation. He solved the problem, did not overcharge me, gave good advice... There are some people you should have complete trust in: Your physicians, your counselors, your pastor, your spouse or partner, and let me tell ya... You better trust your septic guy. There's a lot riding on that septic system. So this is a review written almost a decade late. I've followed Dewey's advice, and we've had no problems. For a DECADE.

OK, so we embellished a little there, but Max Fedrizzi and Bob Munson came to our rescue within minutes of calling them. Bob immediately showed up at our house "after work hours" to evaluate the situation. He took the time to check out what he could of our leaking septic system, inside and out, and talked with my husband about the issues that they may find when the needed excavation was done. The next day and surprisingly way before expected, Bob and Nate showed up with their Bobcat fastidiously and swiftly backing it into our driveway off a very busy roadway. The next day and surprisingly way before expected, Bob and Nate showed up with their Bobcat, fastidiously and swiftly backing it into our driveway off a very busy roadway. Out of the truck the 2 popped out, energetically and with big smiles on their faces (go figure). The day began early and expeditiously with the needed team members coming and going to assist (Kessler septic, Roto Rooter and LMS operator, Max Fedrizzi). Bob always made sure I knew the whole process and every procedure required, making sure I had a say in all the proceedings while having me photograph the process to share with my husband who was at work. 7 and a 1/2 hours later the whole septic dilemma was resolved and we can now, thankfully, use all house plumbing without worry! We highly recommend LMS inc. for all and any septic needs. These guys truly are the experts!
