The screen Tecish installed isn't truly compatible with my IPhone 12. The screen drains the battery at an incredibly quick rate. My phone now can only be used for a few hours before it needs to be charged. I exchanged messages with Tecish about the problem. He offerred no solution to the problem caused by his screen. I had an absolutely perfect experience with Shawn. While running into the street to grab a puppy who slipped their collar, my phone fell out of my pocket and was promptly run over by a passing car. I was not sure if the phone would even be salvageable, but Shawn got it back to new within 25 minutes! I did see he was based in the LA area and I am all the way in Ventura county. Fortunately, Shawn goes to you, all you gotta do is request a quote and make an appointment. 2.5 stars and yet I question if there are any good services out there after having read so many testimonials of mobile phone techs fixing one thing yet breaking something else. And this has been my experience now too :( I dropped my Samsung Galaxy on New Year's Day cracking the screen. Everything on the phone still worked perfectly (keypad, fingerprint unlock feature, etc) so I continued to use my phone for a week before I decided to invest enwegy and $ to get the screen replaced. Although I read mixed reviews of Techish, I believe in giving everyone a chance. No one is perfect and I really appreciated having mobile service, so I picked them. The tech (Shawn) was quick to respond to my bid request and offered a competitive price. He arrived on time, was pleasant and it took about 40 minutes for him to replace my phone screen working from the back of his car. Although he added quite a number of scratches to the paint on the back of my phone, I let that go as the phone is almost 3 years old and besides, a case will hide the scratches. I paid him and even tipped him an extra $10 despite the additional scratches. I tested the phone screen by sending a text message and making a phone call to make sure the phone and keypad worked. However, I DID NOT think to test TEST the FINGERPRINT security feature that I rely on to unlock some apps I use regularly. That is the new problem I have now. 3 days after Shawn fixed my glass screen I tried unlocking an app with my fingerprint as I regularly do and had done on the same day he fixed the glass. Sadly the feature did not work. I called a friend who suggested I reboot the phone and/or add my fingerprint to the device again. I tried both and the scanner will now only read 35% of my fingerprint, so it cannot register a new one, nor will it read my stored fingerprint. Clearly something happened to this feature during the repair. Nonetheless, I figured Shawn might be able to help in some way so I sent a text. He promptly returned my call, which I appreciate, yet all he could do was tech-splain that the fingerprint technology is separate from the screen glass (I knew this already). I explained to him that I needed the feature returned to normal or some solution. It would have been nice to even have some acknowledgement that perhaps that part of the phone was damaged during the screen replacement and offered a discount on a future service (as he'd clearly been challenged getting into the phone evidenced by the extra scratches). In any event, he failed to offer a solution or any kind of help. What's more, he shifted the conversation to suggesting perhaps I did something to the phone to damage the fingerprint feature as it had been some days since the repair (this is true, yet a few days passed before I needed to use any of the apps that require that feature. It was only when I needed to use one of those apps that I would use my fingerprint and then notice it no longer worked. It is unfortunate I cannot say something more positive about Techish. I wanted to, yet it has bren a disappointing experience to have one thing fixed (my screen replaced) and be left with new damage to my phone. Can I live without the fingerprint feature? Yes I can. Did Techish offer me a discount on a future service (such as replacing the scratched up back of the phone) to retain the relationship? No they did not. Not good business IMO. read more

Let me start by saying that I did some overly exhausting, annoyingly extensive research on the many iPhone repair services in this area and TECISH offers the BEST PRICING hands down. I had an IPhone X with screen damage that I had to fix. I discovered, by asking for quotes via Yelp, that the cost for fixing this can range from $125-250. If you don't believe me, feel free to do the same thing as I did. Some of this is perhaps due to the cost of keeping up a physical store in this relatively expensive area. However, as I soon learned, some of this is also due to false information - I was told that all iPhone X's have a more expensive screen (OLED) and that is why it's pricy to fix. But TECISH taught me that some IPhone X's that were released early on, such as mine, actually have an LCD screen and may not require as pricy of a fix. I think my screen ultimately was replaced with an OLED screen, which is even more awesome, but I find it interesting that this was the only business that let me in on this information. Also, TECISH will meet you wherever you want to fix your item. I think this is who they are able to beat everyone else's price significantly. My price was $90!! I also had to deal with 0 traffic which as you know, in LA, is probably invaluable. Initially, I was worried about where to meet this guy. I decided on a Coffee Bean and communicated with him via the Yelp app. He was punctual and super friendly, and most importantly, was so patient as I tried to extract any technological advice from him about my other electronic devices as he fixed my iPhone screen. I have no tech savvy friends so I seized the opportunity to learn something, and he was very patient and welcoming to all questions, haha..though he was probably dying on the inside.
