They simply aren't up to the task. One synth sat there for nearly a year, and when I finally demanded to know what was wrong with it, they said they didn't know & charged me $400. Communication is a problem there. I have 40 years experience, and their explanation for a non working synth, or not doing a thorough job is that it is the nature of analog. Very patronizing. I would not recommend this place if you are a professional, more for the casual hobbyist with no time restraints & no budgetary limits.

We showed up for a scheduled Saturday lesson, only to be told that the teacher was not available. We were informed that an email had been sent about two weeks prior regarding the cancellation. Unfortunately, we did not see that message, and there was no follow-up reminder or confirmation. What made this more confusing was that we attended the lesson the week before as usual, and no one mentioned the upcoming cancellation at that time. Given that lessons are on a regular weekly schedule and families often plan their time around them, relying solely on a single email without any confirmation can be easy to miss. It would be helpful if future schedule changes could be communicated with additional reminders or alternative methods (e.g., text or direct confirmation), to ensure families are properly informed.

He is a very easy going instructor and made the process very easy for me by teaching me songs I was very familiar with and interested in. He went out of his way to make himself familiar with songs that he might normally not play himself, but knew I would like. Each week he was always on time and came prepared with new material and techniques to keep things always changing.
