I have done the few things he has advised me to do and have come to him with the same issues over and over again. Each time I am brushed off, told to change a setting (which I have changed all of the settings he has advised, changed all my passwords, used Authenticator apps, etc.) with no improvement. I feel he means well but assumes the issues I am having are me just inflating issues or not that these issues could not possibly happen to an average everyday person, this refusing to actually look at the problem for what it is.

This store is excellent. I highly recommend it if you're in the market for a used computer…read more Hardware becomes obselete ridiculously fast. This is a great way to get excellent computers without paying $1000. I bought two laptops from them: one for my wife for home use, and one for me for work. I am a Software Consultant, so you can imagine that I use every bit of processing and memory all day. My work PC is outstanding and exceeds my expectations. This isn't a big corporate manufacturer or retail. It's an independently-owned small, local business. For too many reasons to list, it's much better to deal with a real person in a brick and mortar location than trying to buy computers online. Adam knows his stuff and is patient and helpful in explaining it. He is honest and his prices are competitive. He constantly updates his inventory online, so you know what he has. He also stands behind his products with a 90 day hardware guarantee, which is key. Before you drop a grand, (or significantly more) on a laptop or gaming PC, you owe it to yourself to come in and check out the same computers for a fraction of the price.

FINAL UPDATE May 2013: I've not deleted my original review…read moreas I feel it necessary to underscore that, given the opportunity, a good business person will work to remedy a bad situation. Such is the case here. My laptop was examined by the new owner, he saw what went wrong, worked on the solution, kept me updated throughout and now I have a good-as-new functioning laptop. The issues described below have been fixed, and I would not have any hesitation to patronize this firm, especially knowing how well I was treated when a problem arose. A big thanks to Laptop Repair management! UPDATE May 2013: My review is subject to change for the better. The business was recently sold and the new owner took the time to call me to find a way to resolve my issue and turn me into a delighted customer. My laptop is in for an examination and based on my initial conversation I think this is going to have a happy ending. It is never too late to recover if you do the right thing-and have a willing audience. ORIGINAL REVIEW Run-don't walk-.from this place. I took a working, but older PC in for a simple repair. I did my homework beforehand and we discussed and agreed on the likely solution (I told them I was hesitant to put much $$ in it, but they talked me in to leaving it) After a week I heard it needed an additional part. Then no word for a week or so. I stopped in and found out they were ordering a $200 part (one that was working when I dropped it off). I told them to put it back where it was when I left it and I was done. A week later I went to pick it up and thankfully had them check it before I left, and it was dead. Two more weeks went by before I got a call and they said the motherboard was fried. My PC was in here over a month on a simple repair. Worse, they pointed out that any failure that happens while YOUR equipment is in their hands is not their problem. This gives them freedom to experiment with your equipment with virtually no liability. I work with a top flight IT team and ran this by three experienced mechanical IT techs, independently, and got the same answer: the motherboard is on no way connected to the issue I brought my machine in for; they fried it. They charged me $45 to transfer all my data off the hard drive, but I am left with a boat anchor. I will pursue remedy on this.

AMAZING "TOUCHLESS" REPAIRS DURING THE ZOMBIE COVID APOCALYPSE!…read more Vasif is the best! I needed a new battery in my Macbook pro, and it happens to be one of those models that makes the battery really annoying to remove. Apple Store wanted my machine for a week. I called three other repair places -- they wanted my computer for at least three days. Not cool. Vasif came to my house, replaced it while I hung out, and charged me a tiny fraction of what the bigger shops quoted me. So I gave him my wife's macbook, which had basically exploded in some tragic travel accidents. He took it home, ran some checks, replaced a couple of parts... and then sanitized it and dropped it on my porch, BETTER than it had been post-explosion, for a ridiculously low price. Screw the Apple Store or Nerd Squad or whatever -- support a good local dude who does everything better, faster, and cheaper than anybody else in town.
