I dropped my phone like an oaf last weekend and was rewarded for my efforts with a spiderweb of…read morecracks in the screen. Since new phones nowadays are four figures, I decided to get the screen replaced. The gentleman at this establishment quoted a repair for $89.99 and about 30 minutes. I was slightly dubious he'd be able to get it done so quickly as he seemed to be quite busy with several customers as I was leaving and I think he was the only one working there, but my wife and I went and grabbed some lunch while we waited. Not 25 minutes went by before we received a text that my phone was ready. Not only is the repair flawless, but he also threw in a screen protector for free that I had declined when he offered it at a $10 upcharge when I dropped the phone off. The screen replacement was a little pricier than some quotes I'd received from other phone repair places, but with the convenient location, impressive turnaround time, and quality of the repair, it made it well worth it.

WHAT AN AMAZING COMPANY!!! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CARING EMPLOYEES!!!…read more I purchased a big-screen outside TV thru Amazon with Assurian Protection & long black line appeared in middle of screen in a little over a year. Claim was placed with this company & Mindy jumped on immediately. She followed thru each day with what, when & where they were setting up & rep that came out was wonderful. Very detailed in explaining every step in diagnostics to my husband & myself. She stayed on top of everything with Assurion & was so great in explaining steps they were resolving to get problem fixed or proper feedback expedited to Assurion, which is sometimes a nightmare dealing with the Philippines. In any event, our $3200 purchase couldn't be repaired, but we are happy that we had a company with individuals that cared about Customer Care...that's why we always get Protection Plans on all appliances, large home purchase items. Hope this review is helpful to anyone that needs an awesome Electronic or Appliance issue. We would give them 10 stars if we could!!!.. Deb & Dennis Strickland Jacksonville FL

I live in Orlando but come to Jacksonville every couple of months to visit my sister and nieces. My…read morebrother-in-law is big into RC cars and has a talent for pushing them to their limits--and breaking them in the process. During one of my visits, I offered to help with repairs and ended up finding this shop. From day one, the staff has been incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. What stands out most is that they never make you feel inexperienced for asking questions. Instead, they take the time to explain how things work, walk you through repairs, and teach you in a way that's easy to understand and encouraging. On my latest visit, I purchased another RC car (which I'm sure my brother-in-law will eventually destroy), along with a new battery. Andy went above and beyond--he found a Traxxas sale and made sure I got the discounted price, helped me figure out a better repair approach, coached me through the process, and even lent me tools and some thread locker to get the job done right. Customer service like that is rare these days. Andy is a stand-up guy, and the entire team has earned my trust and business. This is absolutely a shop I'll continue coming back to every time I'm in Jacksonville

I have seen them sell name brand shoes and purses for a while now. And I was not looking for much, just whatever I could get. They told me to try Plato's closest because they purchase shoes and purses. I went to them out of loyalty and comfort. Knowing I would be treated fairly. But as I was being denied a few dollars while standing next to shoes in much worse shape and worth less than mine that they had up for sale, my ego got admittedly a bit bruised. Like my stuff was not good enough to sell next to the crap they already have up for sale. I have pawned things, sold things and bought things from this location ample times over the last 5 years. But after that today I will not be a customer here any longer. Not necessarily because they wouldn't buy my stuff, but rather the manner in which I was disregarded was not right. Some of the staff here is genuinely kind and knowledgeable, but the current management is just toxic. End of my rant.
