I guess you can say this is where many old arcade games go to finish out their days. It's fun to…read moreplay the older outdated games...it brings back a lot of memories. Arcade games have changed so much over the years, so it's nice to be able to have access to them. All games take quarters and they do have a change machine. You can literally spend a few hours in here...just like the good ol' days for some of us. Moreover, there is a store where you can find a lot of older games for older consoles like the Wii, PS2, and Xbox360 to name a few. They have quite a few specials on older games as well. The store offers many other things as well other than playing or purchasing older games. They have gaming-type gifts and they do trades too. It's definitely worth a stop if you are a gamer, looking for a retro item and/or looking for a hard-to-find game or item for yourself or as a gift...or just want a trip down memory lane. On that note, I'm glad places like this exist to give new life to all of these games, etc. It's pretty cool!

As soon as you walk in there's a bunch of game posters off to your left for sale. I flipped threw a few of them before checking out the games in the XBox aisle. Kinda surprised to see an Elden Ring in there as that's my favorite game to watch people play. Me? I wouldn't play it myself, I'd rage quit lol. I found some hidden XMen comics hidden behind some comic figurines, some were in pretty bad shape but they had a lot of SpiderMan and Thor comics. I also saw the old school Nintendo games behind glass and resisted from getting them all. I still have my old Nintendo console somewhere. He found what he needed and we were out of there. The staff were friendly and did everything they could to stay ahead of the rush of people that came in. I overheard them say that it's not usually this busy on a Saturday.

In short, we were looking to buy a wireless controller for our Xbox Series X. They didn't have any in stock but here's what gets the 5 star review: without us asking, he said he'd look and see if they were in stock anywhere else in the area. He printed out a list of stores that showed them in stock and made sure we knew how to get to the closest location. Again, we didn't buy anything here but that type of service is lost these days, IMO. So if/when we need any other gaming stuff, this would be the first Game Stop I'd go to just because of this experience. I feel dumb for not getting a name because I like to recognize great service, but I feel like this review might be helpful to someone.
