I've traded a few cards for store credit and they take the time to look up how much the cards are going for and offer a decent trade rate. This place is always packed and full of both kid and adult collectors alike. I've sat down and gone through the boxes that they keep at the table a few times and even the customers I've sat with are kind and willing to help you hunt for the cards that you are looking for. It's nice to have a place where the Pokemon loving community can come together like that. They recently rearranged the store to allow for a more open layout and I like it. The games are in good condition and the selection varies so you have to stop by regularly. I like them because I would rather support local. Because of the construction on Beach Blvd and the decrease in traffic Game Force is moving from Beach and San Pablo to Beach Blvd and 9A. There are too many teen-oriented books and toys, but every good business must follow the money. They also used to have a great magazine selection, which has been significantly reduced. The arts section could be larger as well. This location beats going to the competitor in Town Center with the difficult parking. I also like to patronize independent book stores, and we have some great ones in the area. Of course, no one can deny that they occasionally purchase from Amazon, which has been the root cause of the death of independent bookstores.
