Recently brought my 2021 Lexus in for Luis to inspect a damaged right side rear view mirror…read more The top cover of the mirror had been ripped off and the mirror itself was left partially dangling. The lower housing appeared undamaged with all the exposed wiring appearing to be still intact. The first shop I took my vehicle to informed me that although the exterior of lower base appeared ok cosmetically, there might be unseen damage to the inside of the unit, given that a plastic piece did appear to have been snapped off. Hmmm, but ok, seems logical. Since the entire unit required replacement and given all the electronics involved, the OEM price + labor + tax was over $1,300. Yikes! Checked out Lou's Auto Repair; he took a look at this and that, wiggled here, pinched there and he declared that I'd only need to replace the plastic top cover of the mirror. WT-! Total bill out the door, $135. Moral of the story, always get multiple estimates and always include Lou's Auto Repair for an honest estimate, and timely professional workmanship.

Roland referred me to a place to get a full CVT replacement for my 2015 Honda Civic. Price was beyond reasonable. Roland then met up with me to do maintenance for the rest of the car and now it runs like new! What sets Roland apart from everyone else is two things: 1. He's a mobile mechanic; if you got an emergency or need flexibility on location, he's your guy. He comes out to you. 2. He has YOU buy the parts, so money saved not being upcharged by the dealer/shops. You tell him the issue, he tells you what you need to get (including links to Amazon, rockauto, etc), and agree on the labor price I recommend his services to anyone that wants the flexibility and to go with someone knowledgeable/honest. Then one of their representatives by the name of Christie tried to charge me for a diagnostic for brakes and rotor, which I did not give approval for. Picked up my vehicle the very next day or at least try to. They put my vehicle outside the shop and locked my keys inside. Will never go to this place again or recommend worst business I've done with anybody that has an auto mechanic shop. If you wanna save yourself time money and a headache, don't go to this place.

All they did was mount the TPMS sensor and the tires and put them straight onto the truck. Provided are the pictures that I took of the leak and the wheels showing no wheel weights at all. Now I have to redo them and buy all new four valvestems and spend double the money to get them rebalanced and mounted again.
