I previously went to another auto repair who listed several issues (engine oil, brake belt, leaking water coolant, replace filters, tires, etc). I definitely needed serious repairs done. The previous shop quoted me $3k including labor. I asked around and was recommended Lou's. I called 730am and he called me back 15 mins later and welcomed me to bring the car by for a free inspection. He said the previous shop was correct in their assessment. I did need all those repairs but a couple could wait until my next oil change or in 5000 miles. He also said I could go to Costco to get my tires done (a place that referred business elsewhere def means he's looking out for customers!!). He quoted me $1696 including labor!!! I was shocked and grateful for his honest quote. I was able to leave the car and pick it up at the end of the day. They also test drove it on the streets and freeway to make sure everything was solid. I cannot rave enough about Lou's. I trust him and his crew 1000%. He made a life customer.

Within his first response, he not only quoted me for service but also gave me options for which part to buy, and later added that I could buy the parts myself to save money. He was super accommodating when it came to scheduling and traveling to work on my car while I was at work, and was done well within a couple hours. He was professional, friendly, and efficient. Going to him also saved me well over $1200 compared to going for a repair at the dealership. Would highly recommend and would reach out again if I needed any other repairs, auto, home, or otherwise!

Roland referred me to a place to get a full CVT replacement for my 2015 Honda Civic. Price was beyond reasonable. Roland then met up with me to do maintenance for the rest of the car and now it runs like new! What sets Roland apart from everyone else is two things: 1. He's a mobile mechanic; if you got an emergency or need flexibility on location, he's your guy. He comes out to you. 2. He has YOU buy the parts, so money saved not being upcharged by the dealer/shops. You tell him the issue, he tells you what you need to get (including links to Amazon, rockauto, etc), and agree on the labor price I recommend his services to anyone that wants the flexibility and to go with someone knowledgeable/honest. My ACDelco battery that I bought from D&J died after a year. The battery has a 30 month replacement warranty from ACDelco. I was asking for the receipt for the battery so I can have ACDelco or GM do a warranty replacement myself. I was going to do all of this myself. Attached a photo of the battery that was giving low voltage. Serial #05089 Battery Build Code G053R (Gold, May, 2023) As you can see from my previous post, I posted the battery issue on June 14th, 2024 for a battery that has a giant "30 MONTHS" on it. Pretty unbelievable response.

They told me it was normal. Sure, maybe one scratch, but I might've been able to do a better job with a screwdriver. 2) The balance on all my wheels was 0.5-1 oz off. 3) None of the lug nuts were torqued.
