When I got there, the staff checked my coolant level and told me it was completely fine and did not need any added coolant at all. That honestly made me question whether I could trust the recommendations I was given in the first place. If they weren't truthful about the coolant, how do I know the oil change was even done properly? Really disappointing experience and it felt like an unnecessary upsell attempt.

The previous shop quoted me $3k including labor. I asked around and was recommended Lou's. I called 730am and he called me back 15 mins later and welcomed me to bring the car by for a free inspection. He said the previous shop was correct in their assessment. I did need all those repairs but a couple could wait until my next oil change or in 5000 miles. He also said I could go to Costco to get my tires done (a place that referred business elsewhere def means he's looking out for customers!!). He quoted me $1696 including labor!!! I was shocked and grateful for his honest quote. I was able to leave the car and pick it up at the end of the day. They also test drove it on the streets and freeway to make sure everything was solid. I cannot rave enough about Lou's. I trust him and his crew 1000%. He made a life customer.

Me being an observant person (yes I'm still using my phone going on social media and watching videos and what not) I'm also listening and being aware of what's going on around me. I listen and noticed that the African American Man (wearing all black) short hair with cornrow braids on his head is very rude the way he talks to his employees. He is the opening manager named Darrence. I absolutely do not like the way he treats his employees. He yells at them and gives them attitude which is unacceptable and definitely looks very uncomfortable place to work at. He must be coached on the way he speaks to his employees. I understand that the employees make minor mistakes, but there's no need to talk to them the way that Darrence did. Victor (older Asian male) helped us out and was wonderful. He had excellent customer service and it was very knowledgeable. He was quick on his feet and provided outstanding customer service. We do appreciate Victor for all he does. Thank you for your hard work, attentiveness, kindness, and knowledge Victor, you deserve a raise.

My ACDelco battery that I bought from D&J died after a year. The battery has a 30 month replacement warranty from ACDelco. I was asking for the receipt for the battery so I can have ACDelco or GM do a warranty replacement myself. I was going to do all of this myself. Attached a photo of the battery that was giving low voltage. Serial #05089 Battery Build Code G053R (Gold, May, 2023) As you can see from my previous post, I posted the battery issue on June 14th, 2024 for a battery that has a giant "30 MONTHS" on it. Pretty unbelievable response.
