Dean was absolutely amazing and came through when I needed help the most. I run an online business,…read moreso when I woke up to a laptop that would not turn on, I immediately panicked because my entire workday depends on my computer. I submitted a request on Yelp hoping someone could help me the same day, and Dean was the first to respond. Not only did he respond quickly, but he came directly to my residence at no extra charge, which was incredibly helpful and convenient. From the moment he arrived, Dean was polite, professional, patient, and clearly very knowledgeable. He took the time to look over the issue, explain what was going on, and help me understand my options. My laptop is definitely on its last leg, but he was able to get it working again and give it a little more life until I can purchase a replacement. What stood out most was how trustworthy and fair he was. His charge was only $75, which I thought was extremely reasonable, especially considering how quickly he responded and that he came to me. I was so grateful for his help that I asked him to invoice me for $100 instead. I already saved Dean's number in my phone because if I have any future laptop or computer issues, he will be the first person I call. I highly recommend Dean at Super Techs to anyone looking for reliable, honest, fast, and professional computer repair support.

Price gouging opportunists and I will not return. Save your money and go to someone you trust…read more While my daughter was quarantined, the screen of my brand new work laptop became irreparably scrambled. My husband took it right away to The Nerd Patrol. He had to pay $86.24 up front for the labor and was told the new screen had to be ordered from their supplier but would not cost more than $100. He was told that they could order the screen from Amazon, which would be faster, but probably more expensive. My husband said yes, please order the screen from Amazon as we wanted the work done as soon possible. He was told they were obligated to go through their supplier first. Fine. He was told the repair could be done in 7-10 days. Afterward, we looked up the brand new screen on Amazon. It was available for $60. Two weeks went by without a word from The Nerd Patrol. Finally my husband called to ask about my laptop. He was told it had been done "for some time". When he asked why we were never contacted, he was told that they "must have written down the wrong phone number". Even if I believed that, my receipt indicates that his name and address were correct, and we have a listed phone number. 15 seconds on Google would have led these computer experts right to a number to contact us if they had wanted to. Then my husband asked how much the repair would cost. $120.74. Minus the $86.24 initial payment, right? No, in addition to the $86.24. No attempt was made to call us when the repair cost more than the price originally quoted. $206.98 to replace a screen that should not have cost more than $60 and required an hour's worth of labor, plus the added inconvenience of being without my work device for weeks and having to chase them down when it had been done "for some time". Never again, Nerd Patrol.

Maybe it's the slacker-techie attitude, but for the prices they charge and the time it takes to diagnose the problem (four days the last two times, and it was an obvious issue), I'd definitely search out a different shop.
