Great drinks friendly service . Wish they had more locations , great menu options . Thx

I got two orders of all deferent flavors. Taste like pre frozen . Not fresh! ..........................................................

I've only been here for the grand opening of a tea or boba shop so this was really cool! I really couldn't stay to enjoy it with the crowd of 160+ people behind me! Today I went was in the area and wanted to stop by. The staff is super welcoming and explained how ordering works based on their menu of drinks and their "make your own drink" menu. They only have 1 side which was too much for my small children but they enjoyed their flavors none the less. Ordering was super easy even though there was a lot to choose from, there was a minimal wait for our order and they were was a table for my kids and I to hang out at and enjoy some time together. One of the things I love is that the possibilities are endless and there hasn't been a drink on their menu that I haven't enjoyed! Can't wait to go back and try more! read more

Some of these new boba places be changing the boba scene in Reno with the Cali boba tea vibes. We got the guava sunset, grasshopper, and white crystal all with about 50% sweetness and all 3 drinks were perfect and very refreshing! I love that they use fresh fruits and not syrup. Their menu is clean and easy to look at- not overwhelming! Seating is a bit limited with about 6 seats and I wish they were located more in town but wouldn't mind making it out here for a nice little indulgence. Prices are fair too. read more

I love the Teaspoon in San Francisco, so when I heard about a Teaspoon location being opened in Reno, I knew I had to go. I came with my friend and my dog, so my friend helped me order. I ordered the Strawberry Sangria with boba and the Peruvian chocolate brownie cake. The boba was just the right texture. It wasn't too hard or soft. I loved the chunks of strawberry in the drink as well. It's a good size. The Peruvian chocolate brownie was pretty good. I'd heat it up if I were you. I will definitely be back when I'm craving boba. They also have cute stickers too! read more

Service was quick, drinks were delicious, boba was perfectly chewy. The store was clean and plenty of parking outside. Only downside...location is really far from south Reno where we live, otherwise my kids would want to go more often. If you are a boba enthusiast, it's definitely a must try. read more

Omg why was everything just perfectly made? You can taste the perfect flavor of tea strength, sugar, cream(if applicable), the flavors play throughout. I can probably admit this may turn out to be my new favorite Boba tea shop. Wish we had one in Seattle!! This would blow away the over hyped overly sweet, over done spots that try to open up in Seattle. I can honestly drink this all day, I think Boba tea should be made at reasonable sweet levels, nothing should ever overwhelm , there should always be a good balance that makes you want more! And that's what the drinks do here. I tried their grasshopper, taro, strawberry sangria with cream, caramel one. All so delicious! I am definitely hitting them up again before I leave town! read more

Horrible customer service, I was barely greeted and talked to, the lady taking the order was rude. The mango on fire drink was disgusting, tasted like baby food. My other drink was completely water down, no flavor. Waste of money. Overpriced for nothing. read more

I've been here twice before (before it was even on Yelp!) but went today for the grand opening! It was a lot of fun, despite the cold. They really rolled out the red carpet for Reno! We waited 3 1/2 hours but they kept us entertained and when we got to the front of the line had some delicious boba waiting for us. Don't worry, it's not like that normally. On other trips we've only waited 15 minutes maximum when they were very busy but most of the time it's less then 10 minutes. Everyone was very nice and friendly and they passed out samples which was lovely. We had Taro Lover, Caramel Cream and Black Sugar Assam and they were delicious! I absolutely love that they stew down their own taro and it is so good! Black Sugar Assam is always a classic and I do highly recommend adding the Oreo to the Caramel Cream. We will be continuing our patronage here and it really was a fun event. read more

It was time that they opened up a boba location in North Reno Valleys area. As soon as we walked in it was kinda busy with a line. It only took 5-10 minutes to get to the front. They have a good amount of staffing so the service is fast. The Menu has a variety of different flavors. Many mixed drinks with black and green tea. They also have the classic Thai tea, taro, matcha, and house milk tea. I ended up choosing the house milk tea with a substitute for oat milk with boba. The tea tasted very good and oat milk mixed with it was a good combo. The boba is warm when they serve it and has a good taste with the tea. I want to try a green tea drink next time Definitely one of our new favorite boba spot in town! read more

This was my first time trying Teaspoon and I was very happy. We had both the Classic Thai Tea and a Golden Brew. I was very happy to see the Golden brew and hope Teaspoon does another coffee drink as this one was delicious. The Thai tea was also delicious and and exactly what you'd expect. Lots of Boba which we love. Service was good and prices are very reasonable. Simple and quick! We will definitely be back! read more

My first time there I was truly satisfied The gentleman taking orders had great customer service super patient with me. I got a guava sunset and a couple other drinks and they are amazing I honestly recommend and I will be going back!! Thank you !!! read more

The drinks are good most of the time, but sometimes I got a bad batch of boba. However there is no way to customize/substitute anything on their menu. So you will get charged $1-2 extra if you don't what it exactly how it is. The customer service is completely lacking, management/staff were what gave it a 2* for me. read more

Living in Reno for so long, getting to experience the rise in new boba places is truly exciting! It is nice to have a boba location in this area of town that shortens the distance and time to get my next boba fix! Teaspoon has a beautiful small modern interior that gives it a refreshing and clean aura. It offers an unique array of flavors and drinks! When it comes to boba, I tend to stick to flavors I know I tend to like when trying new places. With the unique options, I found myself trying something new! I got the liquid gold which is a simple oolong tea! The sweetness and the simplicity of it made it one of my favorite drinks! Service is made of younger individuals, and it can vary greatly from time to time and day to day, but they will greet you upon entering nonetheless! Still relatively new, and there's always ways to grow! read more

I've had lots of boba & this by far is the best boba drink I have ever had! I had a feeling this place was going to be incredible just by looking at the photos of their drinks on DoorDash hahah. I haven't been into the restaurant yet, but teaspoon will definitely be getting more business from me! I ordered on DoorDash and it arrived clean and safely packaged. Highly recommend the honeycomb banana milk tea with brown sugar boba. I believe it's a seasonal drink so grab it while you can!! read more

Another Boba Spot! Yayyy! Boba spot is small compared to other spots we've been to, can't fit too many people in there. But it was very clean. They have a lot to choose from on their menu, I honestly would love to try them all. What's cool, is they offer two drinks for you to sample. I sampled the Guava Sunset (freshly blended guava & pineapple marmalade with a splash of lemon juice)... oh my Jesus the aroma of the drink hit my nose buds and smelled heavenly, the taste of it was just as beautiful. It got me excited for the rest of the drinks they had to offer. I went with the employee at the register's recommendation, which was the Peppermint Matcha (White Chocolate Matcha Latte with peppermint crumble $6.50). Why not? We came in early January, and I was still in the holiday spirit. Peppermint just screams holiday to me. Anyways it was good, but I was still dreaming about the Guava Sunset. Boyfriend went with the Cocoa-Lover (Salted Nutella Dark Chocolate latte with Peppermint Crumble $6.50) This is served Hot. He said the flavor was okay, but was more bummed that they didn't fill the cup all the way. We also ordered a Caramel Cream (Hand roasted caramel topped with Organic milk + Honey boba $6.25 this is also available with Oreo topping for extra .75 cents) for boyfriends mom. She loved it. They offer pastries, branded glass tumblers that are super cute, and to go T-boxes (2.5 liters) with Choice of 2 toppings. They also have an app you can use for mobile pickup and collect points to get free boba drink, free boba topping, or one of their glass tumblers. I have yet to try the app. but my eyes are set on those tumblers (super cute!! ) lol. Boyfriend gave Teaspoon 2 stars, while I would give Teaspoon 4 stars. We're giving it 3 stars for now, just because some of the drinks we tried were just okay, and the fact they didn't fill one of the drinks all the way was a bummer. We would go back again to try the other drinks. I am still hopeful. read more

I order the same thing every time from Teaspoon quite often. Golden brew w/ two orders of boba, w/ milk, regular ice, 50% sweet and two extra shots of coffee. In April there was a streak of 2-3 of these orders where I was really bummed and disappointed because they did not look or taste right. Well, today my Golden Brew is one of the best yet. I called to ask who made it so she can get a thumbs up!! Thanks Jasmine :) Here's a picture of it already shaken up! read more

It is nice to have a boba place in the North Valleys. The place is clean and trendy and their menu is extensive. You can order ahead online, on a tablet in the store, or at the counter. Since it was my first time, I ordered one of their specialty drinks called the Dirty Ube. It was a boba milk tea with coconut ube, and organic coffee. The presentation was beautiful. It was my first time trying coffee in milk tea and in this particular drink, the coffee drowned out the taste of the ube. I think I'll opt for more of a classic milk tea next time because this was not for me at all! They did forget my boba but were happy to add some when I realized. Their boba straws are bamboo which is a nice environmentally friendly option. They definitely don't Pierce the plastic topper like a classic straw though. The drink I ordered came out to $10. This is a little steep for boba in general but I believe the customizable option start at $6. I will definitely be back to try a custom drink option! read more

I've been to Teaspoon a few times in the Bay Area, so I was excited that they have come to Reno! The shop is small, but clean with simple and modern decor. I ordered a House Milk Tea with boba and a Golden Brew. It was about $13 for 2 drinks and took around 10 mins to get. The house milk tea was pretty good (75% sweetness) as it had that tea taste that I like and the boba was sweet and chewy. I saw the employee making the golden brew and noticed that she poured so much cream (like half the cup) which I wasn't surprised to see because the picture on the menu does show a good amount of cream, but I instantly questioned my decision to get this drink! I then expected a drink that was gonna taste mostly like sweet milk, but when I drank it, I actually tasted the coffee, so it ended up not being that bad! However, if I could, I would have requested just a splash of cream even if it didn't fill the cup. But I prob wouldn't get it again. They have other drinks that look pretty good though! Because it is kind of far out, I'll have to find a reason to drive out this way, such as if I have to go to Walmart or Wingstop since they are in the same area. It's supposedly only 10 min from where I live now, but the drive just seems further. read more

I have never had worse service than I had this evening! Their sign says open till nine, advertised on Yelp, the app, and the door. We went in before nine, it shouldn't matter how many minutes before nine when it says they close at nine. We tried to place an order online at 8:15, and they had already shut down online orders. we had to get a flex ride which took some time because we don't drive, and got there before nine. When we got there, we were told they were closed, except if we were picking up an online order, which couldn't be placed because they shut down online orders 45 minutes before they closed. Daniel are and John something finally decided to make the orders since it was before nine but clearly told us that they wouldn't do it again. Then, while they were making our drinks, sat behind the counter and talked crap with, a girl behind the counter, who I believe may have been their manager nearby, about us while she did nothing about it. If either John or Daniel were the manager on duty, that's somehow worse, because they should know better! They made eye contact with my daughter while doing so, and then when they didn't make my grandson's drink right, it was supposed to be done in the blender, but they didn't, and my daughter said no toppings, and they put Boba in a toddler drink. They dumped it and started throwing things around. When it was remade, it still wasn't blended. Daniel R was logged into the register, but no idea if he was the one who took the order or not, but the guy who took the order didn't even want to let me put in my phone number so that I could get the points, and my daughter pointed out that she hadn't paid yet with my phone, so he kind of had to. This is not the kind of service that I have ever had, or ever expect to have there again! If you say you close at nine, make sure you're taking orders until nine, and don't shut off online ordering 45 minutes before your closing time! I was going to add popping Boba to mine, but decided not too since they were being so rude. They were rude and this was unacceptable. On top of that, my lemonade was supposed to have 100% sweetening, and was sour enough that it made my nose run. I've had them before and they were never that sour. My daughter's drink is sour enough that it's difficult for her to drink. They didn't take care to make them properly. They were almost done making our order when somebody came in to pick up an delivery order, which was the only way you could place an order after 8:15, well after 9 o'clock, because they took a while to actually make the orders because they wanted to argue. read more

Teaspoons is hands down the best boba place in town. Every drink we've had is delicious. We have gotten so many drinks from here and have never had one we didn't like. I am not normally someone who goes to places like this but my 10 year old daughter wanted to try it out. The strawberry lemonade was the best lemonade I have ever tried. YUM!!! Just finished my delicious order from Teaspoon. I ordered the strawberry colada smoothie. Oh my gosh - it was so good! I added boba to it, which made it perfect. I loved it! Finally there's a boba place in Stead! The decor has a modern feel to it and the menu looks so good! It was hard to choose just one option! I'll have to try all of them! Okay first of all I wanna say I am SO STOKED that there is finally a boba place in the valleys. Boba is one of mine and my husband's favorite treats! This was our first time coming here and we had a great experience! He got the silky strawberry with honey boba and I got the silky mango with honey boba. The strawberry one we're giving a 10/10 the mango is an 8/10. We were in and out of there in less than 10 minutes and the staff were extremely nice. I liked how they asked how much ice we wanted in our drinks because a lot of places put too much ice which I don't like. I/we will definitely be coming back! read more

It's good I come here a lot but I feel like the workers are judgemental. It's a relaxing environment when someone in their 20s or 30s is serving me but when it's a teenager I can't help but to feel super anxious? I know I'm not the best looking when I come here, but for the service to go based off my looks isn't alright. The worker states into my soul as she takes my order. And isn't nice. Idk. The teenagers are the downfall of this place. And I'm a teen myself saying this(20). However the boba is fantastic no matter what. read more

Always super good! Tried their strawberry colada and it was amazing! So many options to choose from. The staff is very welcoming.

Good variety of drinks. Different from a lot of boba places I went to. Not your typical boba shop. If you want to try something diff, this is definitely the place. The place it's a bit small so not much room to just sit and hangout if you're going with a bigger group. No complaints with the service. Staff seems to be pretty knowledgeable. read more

To be honest, this was probably the worst bubble tea I've ever had. Hoping it was just a bad batch on a bad day, but all 3 of us were disappointed with the Thai tea. The only redeeming quality was the Honey boba. The Silky Mango was "fine". We'd be willing to come back to try a non-traditional boba drink like the Mango Tahin Chamoy, but would sooner go to Ding Tea for the classics! read more

Drinks: Cocoa-Lovers - 6.5/10 Liquid Gold - 4/10 The Cocoa-Lovers had a really nice chocolate flavor with hints of peppermint but the Nutella was a bit too salty. The Liquid Gold on the other hand had barely to none tea flavor and tasted like sweet milk. Sadly, their honey boba was still cooking so no boba for us. Vibe: 10/10 We got welcomed by the workers as we entered the shop. The place was very simple with nice wood accents. They had a big screen on the wall with the all their drinks listed. Since its the holiday season, they had some Christmas accents. Overall: Since it was their soft opening, my bf and I were expecting some things that will need some improvements before their grand opening. But we will be back to try other drinks after their official opening! read more

This is written during there soft opening, ordered a Black sugar Assam, Peppermint Matcha and a Red velvet cake. Both drinks are good and unfortunately they weren't able to warm up the Red Velvet cake (bummer). For being a soft opening one would expect there customer service would be on point but unfortunately when we came in and ordered the associates all walked to the back and one person stuck making the drinks. 1st drink came out quick but waited 10 minutes till we asked for our second drink and totally forgot about. I have worked at two boba places: Quickly -- Redwood City, CA location, and Tea Leaf Cafe -- Reno, NV. At both locations, I would man the bar by myself at times, and I had really really high expectations in terms of the service I delivered and drinks made. This review is based on my experience working at these boba locations as well as a customer. Service: 2/5 The cashier greeted us politely. Receipt printed at 7:19 pm. Started composing this review at 7:29 pm. Wait for two drinks -- classic Thai and creamy Jasmine -- was a bit; received my drink at 7:36 pm. Three employees behind the counter. Nonetheless, there was no sense of urgency and work diligence. Music diversity was lacking. Creamy Jasmine quality: 4/5 It'd be a difficult feat messing up a jasmine milk tea. The jasmine tea strength sufficed -- not too weak, not too strong -- so whoever brewed it let it the tea leaves steep a smart amount of time. I had he sweetness level at 100%, which is accurate to what I tasted. However, what disappointed me was how fast that sweetness left once I got halfway down my drink. I thought that the sweetness from the honey boba would help increase the sweetness once I was halfway down, but this didn't happen. Regardless, I would still reorder this drink. Classic Thai Milk Tea quality: 4/5 This drink wasn't bad either, which is why I gave it at least a four out of five. I wish the earthy Thai tea taste was a bit stronger. It was plenty creamy, though, which is what probably weakened the Thai tea taste. Sweetness was also at 100%, yet I found that halfway down, the drink started becoming bland despite how much I shook the cup and mixed the drink. My strategy to remedy this issue is to request less ice. Honey Boba -- tapioca pearl -- quality: 5/5 Sweetness wasn't overwhelming. Teaspoon nailed the texture -- cooked and soft inside with a bit of chew. The pearls' outside was bouncy and soft, too. The pearls were not sticking to each other. I hope the owner doesn't change anything about the way they made the boba. Last Impression: I think the drinks were good...well made even. I just wish the workers did a better job at realizing how many customers were waiting for their drinks and how long they're making their customers wait. It's the establishment's soft opening, so it would only be fair to give the benefit of the doubt. I'll be back, yes, but I hope they have better workers before then. read more
