We went outside to the lovely patio to enjoy our meals, that also sadly fell short. My chicken and waffle that I had had on a previous visit was nowhere near the quality it was before. It was somewhat overdone and tough. His sandwich as he described it was "the worst breakfast ever" the cheese was rubbery, the biscuit was dry, and his side of tots were almost an afterthought. When we went back inside to toss our trash away, the counterperson asked how everything was, we did not want to complain any further, so we did not mention the meal. He did mention that the coffee was still not hot. She offered my husband a free cup of coffee, to go, which was appreciated. I am chalking all this up to just a bad day in the kitchen, coupled with the end of the week, because this was not how I remembered our first visit to Meadowlark. I truly wanted to have a good time today with a good meal and beautiful weather. Despite their best efforts, they fell short.
