We recently went to pick up roses for a funeral. The gentleman working was so very kind. He arranged the most beautiful bouquet and shared with us heartfelt words of wisdom. Brought me to tears. It is a business with a heart. We highly recommend Teaneck Flower shop. read more

ordered flowers at 9:25 AM for same day delivery, they said it'll be delivered soon. the flowers arrived at 7:15 pm. it looked like someone just stuck as many stems as they could with no style, no symmetry, haphazardly. most unappealing. Second time disappointing (previous time delivered down the block), the recipient had to go door to door Looking for them). Arrogant, inconsistant quality, unreliable. Never another chance. read more

This is the second time I have received flowers from this shop in the last month and I must say I am as pleased with my second one as I was with the first. However, my boyfriend did tell me that the arrangement sent was not the one he ordered. Guess you have to be clear, that you want the arrangement you are ordering with no substitutions. In my case, I loved what they sent... Their floral designer has a great flare that really appeals to my taste. The selection of flowers the florist used gave it a lovely Victorian day charm, like a vintage valentine vibe. I just Love looking at them! I bring them from room to room. My pictures do not show the quiet elegance of the arrangement. read more

I've used this place for a few years to delivery mother's day flowers and thought they were fine, but this year had the most terrible experience ever -- they are unprofessional, rude, lied about delivery, and almost made my mom cat's extremely ill. TLDR; - "Delivered" it on the wrong date (it was never delivered) - Lied about the delivery - Requested my mother's number to verify for themselves it wasn't delivered (instead of trusting my word) - Extremely rude - Created a bouquet that was requested to be cat friendly but had lilies, extremely toxic to cats read more

I am giving 5 stars because of the ease and accommodation that was experienced after having to change the location for the delivery less than 24 hours before. Especially since it was much further than initially quoted.. And my mother said the woman who delivered was so very pleasant! For the price and what we received... I would give 4 stars. I'm sure the price of everything increasing tremendously had something to do with the price vs. value.. but that's everywhere I guess? We were just a little underwhelmed.. Ordering online was easy and confirmation was quick. read more

5 stars is not enough for this review!!!!!! We ordered flowers for a very dear colleague who is ill. The recipient wasn't home and there was no one around to confirm receipt of the flowers so I contacted them to redeliver to another address. The owner, Ali took care of us personally for a redeliver! We are located in NY, but I want to reach out to anyone in the Teaneck NJ area to say ORDER FROM HERE!!!! read more

Buyer beware- Do NOT use Teaneck Flowers! They are horrible! I placed my order on Tuesday before Mother's Day and then called back Wednesday morning to confirm they had it and delivery was scheduled for Sat night before Mother's Day. Saturday night came and went and no flowers were delivered. I called Sunday morning (Mother's Day) to ask the status of my order and they claimed they never got my order despite me speaking to two different people about it the week prior. The man who took my call (had an accent but I dont know his name) was extremely rude, yelling at me that he has 100s of customers and not his fault they don't have the order. I had no choice but to place the order again for delivery the same day since it was too late to order anywhere else. He charged me an extra fee on the delivery for the same day, even though they had lost my order, and couldn't have been nastier throughout the call. I ended up calling back an hour later to cancel the order as we had family deliver flowers to our mother that day. The woman I spoke to said no problem to cancel, apologized for their mistake and hung up. Nonetheless they delivered the flowers today (Monday- the day after Mother's Day) and charged me extra for them. They should not be in business and cannot be trusted. read more

I ordered an "Astilbe Passion" arrangement (Deluxe sized) for my mother. She sent me a photo of the arrangement that she received and it was a. small, b. did not include a single flower from the arrangement that I ordered, and c. amateurish/poorly arranged. When I called, the employee I spoke with informed me that if a flower was not available, they substitute. However, there was no connection between the arrangement I ordered and the arrangement that was delivered. He offered a $30 credit (which I refused, since I will never use this florist again) or to deliver a new arrangement that has astilbe. I chose the latter. Two stars because they are attempting to fix, but utterly disappointed by cheap-looking and ugly arrangement that they send. read more

I ordered flowers today for my daughter in law. She just had my first grand baby. On their website it says they open at 9am. They didn't answer the first few times I called after 9. I told the gentleman on the phone that she maybe leaving the hospital that night, was it possible to get them there earlier rather than later, no problem. I also asked if what I saw online is what they sent. For the arrangement I picked he said yes. I went to the hospital and it was not the same and they were delivered around 5pm. For what flower arrangements cost... this was unacceptable. read more

The flowers have a lifespan of shop to the next day, it never fails. I personally have stopped buying from this shop years ago. Honestly, I have no clue how they are still in business. Quite frankly, the flowers in ShopRite last longer and cost less. A single rose here will run you $5. Complete rip off. If you need florist suggestions, DM me. read more

My sister is celebrating her QUARANTHIRTY inside like the good citizen she is so I wanted her to kick off the weekend with some beautiful flowers. I called the Hackensack location first to confirm and they said they were operating out of this location. Placed the order online and received confirmation right away. My sister loves her flowers and they are gorgeous! Thank you for being open and delivering even during a global crisis! read more

Teaneck Flower Shop - Birthday Flowers - Florists Near Me - Teaneck, New Jersey

DO NOT USE this florist. I ordered a specific arrangement in a square vase. What arrived was a very unattractive arrangement in an ugly round pot. The flowers and colors were different than ordered. When I called, the florist argued with me that what he sent was nice. It wasn't and neither was he. It certainly was not the arrangement I ordered. I have never before had this experience with a florist. Arrangement not worth anything near the $$$ spent. Very disappointing on all counts. read more

I have been ordering from Teaneck Flowers for sooo many years! Still the best around! Best arrangements, prices, service, and they have more than just flowers... plants, baskets, stuffed animals, chocolates, and more! My arrangements are always so beautiful! I will definitely have my wedding flowers done here! read more

This is by far the worst flower shop ever. I received a arrangement with dead flowers and a dirty vase (pictures enclosed). Then they had the nerve to have an attitude because I brought them back and wanted a refund. This establishment is unprofessional, rude and has no understanding to good customer service. read more

Called today to send flowers out to a co-worker in the hospital. Started to give all of my information, name, billing address, telephone number, etc etc.. Said that on the card, I would like to list a bunch of names. The guy sucked his teeth and breathed heavy, also threw in a "common man, I can only list a few of them." I said I'd like to list all of the names, he repeated... "I'm only listing a few." I said, Would you like me to take the business elsewhere, he sucked on his teeth again. I hung up and called Encke Flowers. They took care of me right away and didn't have an attitude about listing names. From this being my first experience with this company... I would never go there or recommend this place to anyone. Thanks James for the AWESOME customer service. read more

The most INCREDIBLE experience ever!!! This place was recommended by palermos, my (wedding cake bakery) and I can not be happier to have discovered them!!! I met with Ali and James and after an initial chat they asked me to bring in what I wanted to decorate for my wedding (birdcages) and I was so unprepared I just rattled off colors and thoughts (they listened more than I thought they were) which was great! I took my cages back again with no appointment and they still tended to me and my outlandish requests to see THREE DIFFERENT CENTERPIECE IDEAS (Bridezilla I know) they did the samples up whilst I waited, didn't charge me and they totally blew me away They added and subtracted everything I wanted, I started off with color and ended up with more elegant looking flowers which they suggested and I loved!!! I gave them a tiny budget and they blew me away... Thank you Ali, you've made the most amazing samples and now I have to choose one read more

This place has parking which is a huge plus for me. The second I walked through the door I was greeted by an employee. I was asked if I needed help. I told the employee exactly what I needed. The employee showed me different selections until I made my choice. The price was great and I also bought a box of chocolates. Friendly staff, great prices, and parking available. It saddens me to write this negative review because I don't write negative reviews at all especially negative ones because of the impact they can have on a business. However I have received such an absurd amount of disrespect and poor business practices that I must make sure others are aware. I placed an order online with this flower shop early this morning and through the course of the day I spoke to this flower shop four different times in regards to how much longer before the delivery is made on Mother's Day. They assured me the driver was three minutes away which at first I thought OK that is definitely possible because the shop is roughly Six blocks from where this delivery was supposed to take place. At 3 PM I received an email stating the delivery has been made. I myself was at this address all day long waiting to surprise A very special someone. I called again roughly 6 o'clock and someone picked up the phone and told me the driver already delivered it and if there's a problem call back on Monday and hung the phone up on me as I was talking. I checked security cameras and no delivery was made and I spoke to everyone in the house with me and still no delivery was made. I drove to the flower shop only to see that not only are they closed their business hours for Sunday close at 3 PM. It became clear to me that this flower shop received more orders than they could deliver today and simply sent out an email stating the delivery was made at the same time the store closes 3 PM. Their behavior in business practices are inexcusable and quite frankly outrageous as a new customer I would never use this flower shop again and advise that others consider the same! read more

I needed a spray for an out of state Funeral. I called Teaneck Flowers and was very pleased with the long distance service I received. My flowers were beautiful and unique. I can here to pick up flowers for my friends wedding. I was told they would be ready at 10. We showed up at 1 to pick up we waited and waited the bouquets weren't even ready yet. I had to wait and wait for them to do it. How unprofessional then the owner complains to me that he never guaranteed 10 am. DONT COME HERE read more

Stopped by for an emergency flower setting for the next day for an engagement party. They had a great selection currently available, but since they didn't have exactly what we were looking for, they were able to accommodate us and also offered delivery. The prices were definitely cheaper than the flower shops around the area that we stopped by in to compare prices. Overall presentation was nice; when I stopped by to pick up the completed arrangement the vase wasn't the height we requested so they changed it right away, and added a few extras- a card, a ribbon, etc. I'm inexperienced in art of flower pricing so I'm just going by what the prices of the shops around were, it was about 15-20 bucks cheaper which is nice. read more

Ali and the team did the most breath taking flowers for my wedding October 9th. They truly went above and beyond. From the minute I walked into their store to the moment I was boarding for my honeymoon afterwards he was attentive and truly cared. There isn't enough I can say that would show all my gratitude. He would call me and checked up on things, and I truly felt like he was a caring friend through this every step of the way. My vision came to life with this amazing Flower Shop and I recommend it to everyone and I will always come back for anything else I may need. His staff that delivered the flowers to my hotel even stopped to take the time to compliment me on my big day and asked if I needed anything. Love you guys and thank you for making my vision come to life. Xoxo read more

Do not buy from this shop. I purchased a corsage and flowers for my son's prom and his date. They gave me rotten flowers that are sub standard even after I had them redo the arrangement. The girl behind the counter couldn't care less. Worst flower shop I have ever encountered. Would leave a negative review if possible. read more

I asked for a ten dollar bouquet. A request they have accommodated many times before. The help rudely told me he won't do it. So I asked for a $15 bouquet and he again rudely said no. He then said "I will only make a $20 bouquet or more". He could have sold me a couple of roses with some baby's breath. Left very upset. Horrible service!! I will not step foot in the store again. There are other Teaneck florists who will accommodate me. read more

Teaneck Flowers is amazing. Their customer service is right-on. I was expecting a birthday gift of flowers from a friend. For a wedding, DO NOT USE. This Saturday December 17th, they promised my flowers at 3pm and didn't show up at the venue til 5:10! At 4:00pm when we called, they lied saying they were running 30 minutes late. When they were still not there at 4:45 they lied that the van was in the parking lot of the venue when they clearly were not (because we were all looking out window at parking lot lot). That then got me fired up. If you are running late just say so. The owner who is named Ali told my bridesmaid his name was Bob. Delivery guy said that he uses that fake name; don't know who to believe. When my bridesmaid (who was yelling at them on the phone) called them out, they hung up on her and stopped answering the phone! They finally showed up at 5:10. None of my pictures which we planned before the ceremony had flowers. When they finally got there, my white roses had other flowers mixed in and no blue jewel pins as in the contract. When I told the delivery guy, he stuck these ugly pearls pins in them from his truck. My matron of honor was supposed to have blue roses and she didn't. Awful spray job on some of the flowers. The flower girl balls fell apart in less than 5 minutes. Also the center pieces were missing votive candles. Also, I paid for white ribbons on the outer chairs and there were none there . My photographer was so disappointed she sent me picture proof of this. Liars and unprofessional. They present well; I met with them 3 times and had no worries. DO NOT BE FOOLED. read more
