At first glance, their bouquets are aesthetically pleasing because all you see is a decent amount of colors, nicely wrapped in multiple layers of paper that make the bouquet look colorful yet bountiful. Do not let these distractions fool you! They use cheap flowers and fillers and give you much less than what you pay for. Ordered bouquets for Mother's Day with pick up first thing in the morning and was extremely disappointed by the amount of flowers and quality of the flowers when I saw them. Some of the rose petals were already browning and others starting to wilt. Had my boyfriend pick up these bouquets for our mother's, while I made Mother Day brunch and was enraged when I saw what he came home with! They also said we needed to pay in cash for Mother's Day pick up. Would have rather paid $19.99 for grocery store flowers if I knew this was quality they were selling. The flowers are beyond quality in terms of style & freshness. I ALWAYS tell the men around me to buy their ladies bouquets from The Flower if they really want the wow factor. In terms of my wedding, the Flower did an AMAZING job. I can't stress this enough. 1. Sarah went above and beyond and searched for Anemones because I wanted them in my bouquet. 2. Her prices were way more reasonable than others - I literally asked for the same thing and a different place in Paramus quoted me 2x her price. Not to lowball her though- if you want quality, you need to pay for it too. 3. She was simply professional, easy to work with, arrived early, just a sweet person overall. I've been to weddings where the florist was late and they almost ruined the ceremonies. Sarah arrived early and was always prompt with her communication! 4. Ive been going to the Flower for years, granted I dont need flowers that often, they have always been my togo florist for every mothers day, mothers birthday, mother related event (mom really loves flowers). I have also used them for my bridal bouqet a month ago for my microwedding. They did notify me that because of covid their supply was limited, unfortunatly covid took its toll on everyone, but the bouqet was still arranged beautifully. They are a little more pricey but I found their flowers tend to last longer and the owner always puts alot of attention to detail so its well worth the extra. read more

The Flower is the simply the best!!! We were looking for elegant centerpieces and bouquets for our daughters christening and The Flower delivered elegance and SO much more. Mia and Sarah were a joy to work with and made the process so easy. The flowers were fresh, fragrant and beautiful. They added eucalyptus to each place setting to match the arrangements, and we got flowers for our cake to match as well - it all was better than our inspiration photos! They also made a perfect flower crown for our daughter (see photo) and the bouquets we got for the grandmother/godmother were unreal with the most perfect peonies I've ever seen. And they packaged each bouquet with a little bit of water so they stayed fresh until they could be put in a vase at home. TLDR; Insanely incredible flower shop with the most gorgeous presentation and high quality flowers made with care, precision, and grace. Also very easily a favorite wedding vendor! :) The Flower has been hands down our favorite flower shop for the past four years. My husband frequents there to sometimes surprise me with the most romantic and gorgeous bouquet of flowers that I have ever seen or for special occasions like Mother's Day or for birthdays. We definitely didn't hesitate to ask the wonderful Sarah Jung to help make our dream wedding come true, especially after seeing how much effort she put into my older sister's wedding during the month of October in the year 2015. My husband and I got married towards the end of this past January, so this review has been a long time coming. Sarah has also recently done my cousin's wedding which was this past August and a bunch of other friend's weddings. It's no wonder that Sarah and her fellow employees are hired because of how talented and genuinely kind they all are. Flowers are naturally expensive because they are fragile in nature and require a lot of time and labor, but they are so worth every single penny. Without flowers at our wedding (we got married at The Tides Estate in the grand ballroom), the room would have been so dull and sterile. Sarah really knows how to elevate a room with efficiency, mindfulness, and without waste; the same goes for things like the bouquets and the extreme attention to detail in all of the many little things that we didn't even notice or ask for. Sarah is absolutely brilliant and she goes out of her way to make all of your dreams or visions into a reality. She has answers to everything you are curious about and has a highly extensive knowledge about flowers (their origins, names, the symbolisms, etc). From the moment you meet her, it is hard not to feel connected with her because of how passionate she is about her job and for making people happy. She will walk you through the whole process in an easy way and will dedicate her time into truly helping you (even with the entirety of the wedding schedule and some of the other things - she helped me to plan, haha). She'll remember everything you requested her to do and always tends to do more than what's on paper. Sarah is truly gifted with an eye for sprucing things up beautifully and has this "perfectionist" attitude, which we could mutually relate to and were very attracted to. Logistically, with delivery and set-up times she was on time to the point where she was even a bit earlier than expected. Personally, I honestly didn't have any specific designs that I wanted since it was the winter and the only thing we wanted was our theme for the wedding which was the "Royal Wedding" - so we only told her that and wholly trusted in her design. The first meeting was discussing sort of what flowers we liked, what kind of feel (elegant and rustic), the colors, and most importantly our budget. It was pretty quick since with the second meeting, Sarah provided and presented a Powerpoint with different budget options, along with what kind of flowers would be in the center pieces or what would go into the bouquets and etc. This meeting is much more thorough and breaks down the costs of every single item that you could choose to add or take out. At the end of the day, when I look back on our wedding, I remember the little details because I appreciate the subtle things very much. Sarah and one of her employees even took care of fluffing my dress and making sure I was always looking my best. I almost cried because I was so touched, as she put flowers in my hair and made me an extra bouquet for me before the reception began because she was so inspired by my wedding dress and everything. You really cannot go wrong with The Flower. It would be a shame if you didn't stop by their store out at least once because of their high quality, passion, and care!! read more

And I don't think I can express enough how incredible the Flower - the owner Sarah and her employees - has been throughout our wedding planning process and beyond. I must say the wedding flowers were the MOST beautiful flowers that I have seen in any of the weddings :) It beats any of the flower arragements from the Leading Hotels of the World. Thanks to Sarah Jung (floral design creative director). I really loved my wedding flowers sooooooo much, that I'm NOT going to share these photos for future brides to steal these ideas ;) haha... I must admit that I am probably one of the pickiest person and have NO tolerance for mediocrity. Sarah Jung was excellent from the start of the first appointment to the end of the wedding. I really appreciated that she asked several questions to get to know what I liked and then specifically tailor to style and get inputs before we finalized the wedding flowers. I really appreciated her expertise and experience. Sarah worked in Germany so I was glad to hear that her taste of arragements will be simple, classy, and elegant. She did an excellent job in so many ways: - design concepts and style for the chruch ceremony and country club ambience - color combinations - flower selections (from all over the world) - texture (to give contrast and soft romantic feeling) - floral fragrance combination I must have received several complements from the wedding guests how beautiful the flowers were.
