Their arrangements are always so beautiful. I'm giving this place a 3 not because they are horrible florists, I've ordered from them twice and they both came out exceptional, but because of the terrible experience I had with a lady from their staff, Pia. It was probably one of the worst experiences I've had in a retail setting, and I worked in retail for a couple of years. I bought the $50 for $35 deal here on yelp last May for a flower arrangement I needed delivered. When I walked in, she (Pia) was finishing up an order for a customer that was in the store. She saw me and didn't have a very pleasant look on her face. The customer she was helping left and it took her a while to acknowledge that I was there. When she finally "noticed" I was there, she gave me an attitude the entire time, like I was wasting her time by placing an order. When I was going to pay for my order with the voucher I purchased, see immediately said that she doesn't know how to use it so she wasn't going to apply it and was about to charge me an additional $45. Then I got pissed off. I asked for a manager, she said she was the only one there, so I had her call someone (I think she called the store owner). As she was dialing on her cell, she kept saying "well, she's not going to pick up. I already know that" while rolling her eyes. To her surprise, the person she called picked up and instructed her on what to do. She gave me an even bigger attitude while doing this, probably because she was humiliated. She was by far the rudest person I've ever dealt with. The flowers still came out beautifully despite me horrendous experience with Pia. I've decided not to ever place an order through The Flower Cart if Pia's around. I suggest you all do the same!

Her delayed return resulted in at least 2 (most likely more) unsuccessful attempts by the patient delivery person. By that time, I pretty much gave up hope and really did not expect them to try again since they clearly exercised their due diligence. However, despite advertising on their website that they deliver outside of NYC and/or the Tri-state, I was met with an email stating the delivery location was too far to accommodate. "Tri-state" means New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. My best friend is 25 miles from their Harlem location in NJ. Very unfortunate and quite disappointing.

Not only was I charged $10 for delivery after the website says free delivery for local orders, they didn't even send it out. And this is after I left a 20% tip because I had hoped they would take good care of the order. Looks like they have a history of this per other reviews on Google: would not recommend ordering from them online especially if the system is this unreliable. Called the morning after it was supposed to be delivered and they said they will call me back, but they didn't. They finally delivered the order after all the complaining. They didn't apologize once for their mistake nor did they even acknowledge it. On top of that, for the custom flower arrangement a near $90 value only 5 flowers were in the whole arrangement.
