Moving forward I will be solely using this florist. I attended a wake out in their area of eastern Bergen County about a year ago and noticed how beautiful the flowers were. After speaking to the family member in charge of the flowers, she told me about Larry's. I had to order a funeral spray for a friend's wake and decided to use them. Michael helped me and I will say of all the flower arrangements there, my spray was the biggest and most beautiful. Very tastefully done too. It's Christmastime and I was worried red might be too garish but it was mostly white with a little red here and there. Just beautiful! What a great job. read more

I don't even know where to start, other than to say how happy Nicole made me today. I believe this is the first, and definitely not the last time I've bought flowers there. She made me such a beautiful bouquet with just the right flowers without my having to request the flowers. The individual I gave them to LOVED them. They were so beautiful and fresh I wanted to keep them lol. Larry's is so clean, and beautiful and such wonderful selections of things - flowers, plants, etc., all beautiful and fresh. The only thing there that wasn't fresh, thank goodness, were the employees! (I'm comedic, so don't mind me). Nicole really went above and beyond helping me today. DO NOT use Larry's florist if you need anything sent promptly. ordered a wreath for a funeral on Monday morning, and for delivery on Wednesday morning. Certainly not a rush job, and ordered two full days in advance. The service was nearby so wanted to order locally to be sure it would arrive on time. As it turns out I was too ill to attend the service so I was at home on my computer when I suddenly got an email from Larry's telling me my order was being "worked on" and would be delivered shortly. Well, let's see. The time was 10:33 am, and the service was to start at 11:00 am and they were "working" on my order?! I frantically called the shop and someone picked up on the second ring, coughed, and hung up. I called again. A gentleman took my call and I asked about the email. He asked if I'd just placed the order and when I told him the order went in on Monday he said, they were "swamped" and the orders were going to leave the shop "soon". He also offered, "I know it's cutting it close but..." and his voice trailed off into nowhere. So to recap, the service begins at 11:00 am and it is exactly 10:33! I have no idea what these flowers (which cost well over $200) will look like, and I don't care. I do however care that they should have already been at the church for the funeral. They are florists. They have ONE job. And if they don't have what it takes to do that job ON TIME then they need to find another line of work. I'm helping them along with that. Don't trust them with your business. This florist has been around for ages. I have used this florist quite a bit over the years for funeral arrangements. Most of my family lived in the area so it's been convenient. They have always done a great job with the arrangements. I usually just check their website and call my order in over the phone. Nice and easy! Definitely recommend. read more

We are new to the area and received this bouquet for our daughter when she was published as a young author. The presentation was colorful with a vivid purple satin bow. I hate to leave a bad review on a mom & pops shop, but I left so unhappy. I went to the store to pre-order and pay for a bunch of stuff, and the first thing that struck me as odd was the high price tag for babys breath. Now, usually I buy them at produce markets, so I figured it was the price I was paying for convenience. However, what really rubbed me the wrong way was, I ordered an arrangement I saw on there website. The description says it is pictured in Standard size- but you can get it in deluxe or premium. I ordered and paid for premium. The second they brought it out during pickup day, I was dis-pointed. It didn't look like enough flowers. I was clearly upset and I'm surprised the woman behind the counter didn't question my disappointment. Shows how much she cared. I wasn't going to argue but when I came home, for my own sanity, I checked back at the website and I literally counted flowers from that "standard" pic and my bouquet matched up exactly. So now only did I grossly overpay, I now have to stop at a produce store and get more flowers because this just isn't going to cut it for what I need it for. I wish I had just made the arrangement myself for a quarter of the price. read more
