I love Tiger Lily! The owners are always so amiable, fun, and creative. I'm always so happy to pick up flowers from them because (1) they are fabulous people and (2) their flowers are always beautiful. I can be rather particular about my flowers so I opted to place an order for 3 custom arrangements for Mother's day. In the order, I had requested certain flowers and colors. They had called to follow up on vase or no vase and whether the flowers would be out of water for long. I love how attentive and thoughtful they are to all aspects of the process. When I arrived for my order, I was so happy and pleased with how beautiful the arrangements turned out. I appreciated how they were so detail oriented and committed to ensuring my wishes were met but also demonstrated their own creative and brilliant talents by creating 3 different but wonderful arrangements. I also loved the mix of fully bloomed flowers, partially bloomed, and buds that were included. My mother, mother-in-law, and sister-in-law all sent photos mid-week because the flowers were blooming so well, and they were so grateful for the bouquets. Now that I have some time away from wedding planning I have decided to review this place. We scheduled an appointment to discuss floral options for our wedding on a Saturday morning with Tim. We drove from Queens, NY and saw the place is closed with no one in sight. We were puzzled but still tried emailing Tim couple of times while waiting in front of the shop. The business never followed up with a response and we never received an apology for wasting our time. Mistakes do happen but it would have been nice to know they care about their potential customers. read more

I was in this neck of the woods and needed to get flowers for a friend's family. I literally walked in off the street, told him what I needed them for, said the color scheme I kind of wanted, asked if I wanted particular flowers (I didn't, but pointed one or two out that I liked while he was assembling), he asked a price point, and after a little wait, I had a beautiful bouquet under $40! My friend's mom was wowed. Flowers always work. The owner took his time arranging, and I was in no rush, but... if you are in a rush, I suggest either planning ahead or letting him know. Don't want to rush the process though :) read more

They exceeded my expectations. I ordered the "coral floral -deluxe" and all I can say is - wow. The flowers were so fresh, so beautifully presented. Truly a statement. I brought them along with me to give at a restaurant and from the car to the restaurant I was stopped 3x because of how beautiful they were . We even had people coming up to our table complimenting the gorgeous bouquet. I recommend this place to anyone and will certainly be going back ! read more

My husband and I were beyond thrilled with Tim and Jennifer's gorgeous florals for our November 2017 wedding at Factory 220 in Passaic, NJ. I was a fairly nontraditional bride with a strong vision of my wedding aesthetic, and Tim and Jennifer did an amazing job of interpreting that vision and bringing it to life. They sourced flowers and plants from far and wide to work with our mustard yellow and olive green theme colors, and our desire to utilize succulents and other unusual-looking items in our arrangements. Throughout the process they were kind, calm, reliable, and hard-working, and we truly felt they went above and beyond the call of duty to make the florals for our big day everything we were hoping for and more. We would highly recommend them to anyone, and would certainly use them again! read more

What can I say... Tim is a magician. I was crunching through some ideas for my wife for our 4th wedding anniversary (apparently it's the flower or plant year) and a suggestion I came across was to recreate our wedding bouquet. What made it an interesting task was that be had used a brooch bouquet and I wanted to see if I could turn it from metal and plastic into a living breathing flower bouquet. Look no farther than the brilliant mind of Tiger Lily and Tim. He created a beautiful hybrid bouquet in only two days and it absolutely blew my wife away. Thank you so much for making our anniversary a wonderful one and I will make sure to refer as many people as I can your way. P.S. I did all of my communication with Tim through Yelp Messages and it was a seamless process. Thank you for being flexible and working with me that way. read more

WOW! Tiger Lily Flowers really delivers quality and beautiful designs. This is my first time using them, it won't be my last. I live in California, and wanted to surprise my friend for her birthday. I needed flowers for a birthday. Was able to get in contact with Tim the day before after the store was closed . I was able to narrow down my choice to 5 options as there are a lot of pictures on the yelp page to help you choose. I was able to get pricing and was assured that the flowers will be there the next morning when I go. I was happy to see that Tim did get me some fresh flowers and get the arrangement done with me there. I was so impressed that i decided to buy a dozen roses for my fiancée also. Pricing is fair and many options to choose from. read more

Hidden gem in Teaneck! I've been to many flower shops around the area and I am bummed that I haven't discovered this sooner. Tim the florist was so nice and welcoming, made my son and me very comfortable. I came in to order an arrangement for delivery, provided Tim a budget and boy did he deliver! My friend was so happy with the flowers. I do wish I was able to see it in person. I highly recommend this establishment. Tiger Lily has gained yet another customer for life. read more

Tiger Lily was the second time my family chose them as our florist for our wedding, knowing how their quality of work was previously this was a no brainer for us. Tim and Jennifer are true artists, they had everyone floored with their masterpieces setting the tone for our wedding. Tim and Jennifer are undeniably creative; we got married on New Years Eve having a Gatsby theme, they put together a clock mural for our table, centerpieces that were bold yet elegant, and the bouquet for myself and the bridesmaids were stunning, adding feathers in that proved their attention to detail. The best part is, Tim will have you laughing throughout the entire process. Weddings are stressful, Tim quickly makes you realize how fun this all is! Tiger Lily is our forever florist, and should be yours too! read more

Marina B., YOUR review is rude and clearly unsupported... but I'm sure that folks who turn to Yelp for comments can read right through you!! My family had the greatest pleasure to meet Tim on several occasions in consultation and preparation for our daughters wedding decor. Never did he cut me short, nor dismiss my obnoxious requests... he not only listened to every request, but took detailed notes, made drawings , worked within our budget with a detailed written proposal , promptly responded to my calls, emails, and on-site visits, injected humor and wit where necessary and delivered beyond our expectations. Without Tiger Lily Design and Tim's kind reassurance and personal attention to detail, our wedding would have been very stressful. Thank you Tim! read more

I have to use all my self-control not to actually eat these flowers. So fresh, natural and beautiful. The dude running the place is friendly, helpful AND wise. I'm told they are excellent for events as well. Oh, and if you won't be home for a while, they pack up your bouquet all hydrated-like to last the day. read more

This was my first time ordering from Tiger Lily Flowers, and came across the great reviews on Yelp. I took a chance with this particular florist because the arrangements offered online were gorgeous! I ordered the Gorgeousification arrangement through their website, and received an email confirmation with all the details. I was a little nervous about the delivery because it was going to Alpine, NJ (where deliveries are not usually made), and gave the florist a call. I spoke with Tim on the phone, and he was incredibly friendly and considerate of my request. There was an issue with the availability of peonies (it's not in season apparently, and very expensive to get them right now), but Tim made sure to include them in the final arrangement! He also personally delivered the flowers, and communicated with my mom (it was her birthday) to make sure she was home upon delivery--he didn't want them to wither outside. Overall, the experience was seamless, easy, and hassle-free, which is exactly what I wanted. The fact that he did everything I asked for so last-minute (I ordered them in the morning, and they were delivered at the EOD) was even more amazing. I definitely appreciated the customer service, and the timely updates. Will definitely be ordering from Tiger Lily Flowers for any upcoming special occasions! read more

As soon as I walk in the shop and ask first question, the owner let me know that he is very busy today and I should better come tomorrow,as he is does not have time for my questions and can not show me anything. He got on defencive when i ask him about quality of the flowers and yet, find time to talk about him teaching in Columbia and being an artist. Really? I do not know if and how someone like this men can be a teacher, but he sure is a lousy salesman. I would never recommend this business to anyone. If I could give 0 start i would. Horrible attitude and very rude person. read more

Working with Tim at Tiger Lily was a delight from the moment we stepped into the Cedar Lane store. Tim was welcoming, open-minded, and eager to brainstorm with us and was very open-minded throughout the whole design process for centerpieces for our winter wedding this past February. With that said, after clearly expressing our wishes for the design of our centerpieces we were STUNNED when we went to see the sample centerpiece a few weeks before the wedding. The centerpiece was nothing like what we had talked about and Tim eagerly worked with us that day to rearrange the centerpiece to our liking and assured us the new design for the centerpiece would be what we were seeing and that he would be available during our reception just in case we needed any last minute changes. This DID NOT happen. The final centerpieces were a watered down version of the design we were shown and no one was available on our wedding day to rectify the changes. With regards to a wedding florist, I would recommend Tiger Lily for maybe smaller weddings or more generic centerpieces. read more

This review is long overdue as our wedding was in June 2012 but i must write it to compliment the wonderful experience that Tim provided for us. Flowers were one of the last things we looked into for our two-day wedding and honestly were the least informed about (style, budget needed, etc). Tim was amazing in helping us make decisions that were not only within our budget but really part of our vision. We had a two-day event and required the bridal bouquet both days but the larger centerpieces on the second day only. Tiger Lily delivered the flowers to both venues (even though one was 1.5 hrs away) in a timely fashion and even stayed to make sure the florals looked perfect and fresh for pictures. What's more, he made a complimentary bouquet for us to take home when we went for our appointment and instead of letting me use the same bridal bouquet (which I totally was expecting to do) on both days, he made a fresh one for gratis on the second day as a surprise. Just a lovely lovely experience and person. Can't wait to have another occasion to showcase his beautiful work! read more

My cousins once brought me birthday flowers and I was really amazed at how beautiful the arrangement was. Usually I take flowers, say thank you and put them to the side but THESE flowers, I wanted to take pics of them and couldn't wait to get home to put them in a vase. They were gorgeous. So fast forward to today I walked into Tim's shop and he arranged a wonderful bouquet for my friends bday wrapped in burlap. I promised him I'd give it to my friend but I really wanted to keep it for myself! I'm glad to say he is my florist :) read more

A bad start....basically wasn't the right fit. Don't think he wanted our business, but that's ok, we moved on.Was a nice guy tho.

Ordered flowers on-line to be delivered for a birthday. Easy interface, with lots of choices and room for any special instructions. Flowers were delivered promptly, and they were beautiful! The recipient was very pleased. They even send an e-mail with delivery confirmation. It's always a gamble when ordering flowers from across the country, but rest assured! Unassuming small shop on Cedar Lane. Stepped in out of curiosity. Ended up buying a couple of Cheetahs (or are they leopards?) made in Kenya. I knew this was a fair trade shop and I want to encourage it. Nice display of collectibles and mantle-peices. Might be a good option if you are looking for gifts for the entire family. I live in Ann Arbor, but my family is in New Jersey, and these folks have been so helpful with providing good service long distance. Not long ago we lost a good friend and they were great providing funeral flowers at a difficult time - over the phone. Didn't even charge for delivering funeral flowers. Just now, I waited till the last minute to order my mother Valentine's flowers for her first Valentines alone, since my dad died. The owner remembered the street where my mom lives, recommended good flowers for an artist, and helped with the card. He was sweet and considerate. I highly recommend them. read more

I have been using them for about a year and am very pleased. The owner is a pleasure to deal with and custom makes a bouquet to my price point -- I just tell him that i want a bouquet for X dollars and he makes it up and it always comes out beautiful (my wife knows flowers but I don't so I just tell him to use his judgement on what to put in and my wife is happy with the results so I am too) I've been surprised too at how long they last so I guess they're very fresh. In the past, at other stores, I've always been a bit intimidated getting flowers because I don't know anything about them -- I can identify a rose and a sunflower but that's about it -- but I'm very comfortable at Tiger Lilly. It's owned by a couple, Tim is usually at this store and his wife (Myoung?) is at their other store, Enke Flowers. read more

I received such beautiful flowers from Tiger Lilly while I was in the hospital at Holy Name Medical Center. I love flowers and am very particular. Tim and staff are amazing- HIGHLY RECOMMEND TIGER LILY!!!! I called very last minute with a rather large, commercial order. Tim not only came to our office the next day for a walk through but also brought a sample of his design, which he left free of charge for us. He came through better than expected on load-in day and his designs and gorgeous blooms have our office buzzing with compliments! He has an eye for design and is more than willing to work with you to create exactly what you're looking for. He's also a wonderfully genuine guy, whom I'm thrilled to support, locally. I have worked with Tim on several occasions, but I have to say my last set of arrangments - were the talk of the town. I am the maid of honor in a wedding taking place on July 31. This weekend was the bridal shower and we had a 1920's/Old Hollywood Themed event. The centerpieces were huge deep red roses with red feathers. All of the guests, especially the bride-to-be, loved them. Tim thank you for another lovely and well-priced job!!! S. Muldrow read more

We checked out this Yelp page when we were booking venues and we fell in love with the purple and creamy colored flowers and centerpieces featured on this page. The bridal bouquets turned out pretty close to the photo and what we were shown in the shop, but there were issues with a few of our centerpieces. Some of the arrangements. The flowers looked on some of them looked wilted. We were able to get a partial refund after the fact. Over all the bouquets and centerpieces looked fine, but unfortunately a few looked bad read more

I ordered a custom arrangement for someone just based on an idea for a central flower and asked for something based around it. The florist went above and beyond and created a beautiful, I mean stunning, arrangement that made its recipient so happy. I met with Tim at this cozy little downtown shop when planning my wedding. It was a pleasure dealing with Tim! I don't live in Bergen County but ordered a sympathy arrangement from Tiger Lily Flowers because of reviews on Yelp. I called at 10:40 AM asking if he would be able to fill an order by the end of the day & he assured me that it wasn't a problem. It was very short notice but he came through with flying colors! Tim offered a suggestion on how to make the sympathy arrangement I chose (from his website) more appropriate for a home & kept the price the same. He made a beautiful, creative arrangement and emailed me an hour later with my eReceipt along with a picture, letting me know that it was done & ready to be delivered. I'm always a little skittish about ordering flowers over the internet sight unseen, but Tim was friendly, helpful, and provided excellent customer service and a quality product which was greatly appreciated.
