Didn't bother installing it myself because the support from NavTool is notoriously minimal. Asked Pittsburgh BestBuy and they said they don't know how to do it (smh). Then I took it to Auto Addictions and they said yeah it's doable. Got the appointment scheduled a week later. Then I dropped the car off in the morning and it was done in the afternoon. What I liked the most was their professionalism. They are very knowledgable people and you can tell from the way they talk. NavTool's manual was a total abyss but they somehow managed to install it perfectly (now my old car has CarPlay wooo!). Really, really down-to-details people, made sure that they did not mess things up and kept me posted during the installation. Last but not the least, they charge very reasonably! We worked with Mark to place that order and he was very helpful and efficient in taking care of us. While we were talking to him, Marty, the owner, started talking to us as well. He was genuinely concerned for us and trying to find an immediate solution so we wouldn't lose all of our frozen food over the weekend. He contacted the Allison Park store and found that they had a smaller size freezer in stock that he offered to us as a loaner for the weekend if we could pick up it up from that store. Never have I worked with an appliance store that cared so much and was willing go to that extreme to help. We saved our frozen goods by getting the loaner and then we returned it when we got our new freezer on Monday. The new freezer is so nice and big and bright. I can only hope it last as long as its predecessor that we purchased at Daniel's 23 years prior.

The phone still works so researched. Turns out Verizon has an awesome deal going as of July 11, 2022.I didn't believe it online so did the online chat with a rep. Turns out they have a trade-in program in which I can trade in my cracked screen Samsung s20 for a new s22 basic model worth 799 on my existing line with my existing unlimited plan for free. Didn't have to fix the screen first. Didn't have to be a new customer. Didn't have to add a new line.  Just paid a 35 upgrade charge.  I will pick it up at a store close to me tomorrrow or next day. It was hours after doorbusters, near closing, these poor employees missed out on time with their families, heck I would have understood if they were miserable. This was my first stop of many and they set the bar so high no other store could compare. Management must have been passing out candy because these employees were all a dream. From the young man in the TV section who cautioned me against my choice and directed me to another (Which I love) to the other young man in gaming that helped me (as a writer) find the perfect keyboard. The check out girl was so pleasant and smiling. What could have been a typical, tense night of shopping was set off wonderfully by the well informed, super helpful staff of Best Buy.

When i finally a person i had a headache and was yelling at them. Not their fault. What should have been a 5 min phone call too over 30 minutes. Get rid of the AI assistant. Give us a real person. We were told by one of the guys to go ahead and purchase an unlocked phone and come back (we found one much cheaper than one at the T-Mobile store) and they would set us up with a 30-day international calling plan so we could call our loved ones in the U.S. while we traveled. So I went to Best Buy and purchased a name brand "unlocked" smart phone for $110 and went back to the T-Mobile shop. Another young man waited on me and reviewed the plan I wanted but wasn't sure how to set it up so he went to the manager. The manager told me they could only use a phone that had a prior T-Mobile account on it, and furthermore, they "don't have those kinds of plans," even though the first young man showed me the 4 or 5 plans during our first visit to the store. So I drove to the store twice in one day, spending about 3 hours and 40 miles of driving and $110 to not have my need fulfilled. So, it seems there is a serious lack of training which will prevent me from considering using or recommending T-Mobile in the future.
