This is a scheduled appointment review only. I have bought my 2014 escape at this location and had great service. Every time I come here to get an oil change, tire change/rotation, etc, the wait times have been ridiculously long. Now I get that the mechanics get busy and things happen but don't tell me at the front desk that it's going to be 1hr 45 mins and really have it be 3+ hrs. Overshoot your wait times like most places would because when I'm still waiting at the 2 hr mark (with no employee telling me what is going on or why it's taking so long) I am going to be mad. Every minute past that increases my anger. Apparently you need an entire afternoon off with a scheduled appointment to get an oil change and tires put on. read more

Our prior experiences with Go Auto had been characterized by a mixture of sentiments, neither distinctly positive nor negative. However, our recent transaction with Go Auto Team Ford has proven to be significantly different. The salesperson exhibited deceitful behaviour, misrepresenting the servicing history of the vehicle and providing inaccurate information regarding its ownership. When we inquired about potential issues with the vehicle, the salesperson assured us that there were none and that it was in excellent condition. We finally received the inspection report after we had purchased the vehicle, which the salesman said was too bad for you. I strongly advise potential customers to consider avoiding this dealership, or at the very least, to engage legal counsel during the purchasing process. It would be prudent to explore alternative options for vehicle acquisition, as this could yield a more satisfactory outcome. Save yourself from a bad experience and buy elsewhere. The front brake pads were down to 3mm which he did nt advise or inform us after we inquired about any issues with the vehicle. He also did not tell us it had no block heater. The oil was not changed and the last service was done 10K ago. Update: The salesperson Armit said they would get back to us after reviewing with the manager. This has not happened; we have had no response to our complaints. Once you have purchased a vehicle, do not expect any customer service from them. They hid the issues from us when we specifically asked for the info, then lied to cover their tracks. read more

Spent one week landing a deal with these people. I left a deposit holding the truck. Had to keep calling the finance team to find out what was happening. They didn't seem to care at all, finally got Mo the used sales manager to speak with me and he couldn't explain the issue or even try to find a solution. I needed 60k and these guys were trying to push my application through for 109k. I asked mo why they were doing this and he said this is how it works. He continued to tell me my preapproval at dodge was not true and that it was impossible. This was straight out calling em a liar. Unreal. We explained we would find other financing if they couldn't and he agreed we should go to the bank ourselves. We did and secured financing the next morning. That same morning the manager of the shop called to tell us that they sold the vehicle and their finance team didn't even finish getting the deal through for financing, even when my deposit was holding the truck. The finance team is lazy and they have no integrity in what they do. Speaking with the manager of this dealership, he apologize and essentially read us a script as to being sorry but no accountability was held at all. Owning 4 fords and a strong supporter of the brand, I'm absolutely disappointed in not only the level of honestly, but the level of integrity, horrible representation of the brand. I've filled a complaint with AMVIC about this as I haven't received my deposit back. Not a trustworthy place to support the ford brand and if you can do a deal with another outlet. Definitely avoid Mo the sales manger and Nickolas the finance officer. Absolutely no rush in this guys step at all and Mo has not a bone of integrity in his body. You could expect this from a shady used car place but did not expect this on a large ford dealer. In particular I was purchasing from grande prairie so landing this deal from afar was already difficult. Now I have a 65k loan funded sitting in my account. Below is the email I sent at closing the day before the sold it with my deposit. The last Nickolas couldn't even respond to my email and they were all notified that I was coming for the truck on my deposit but as you can see the lack of integrity prevailed. If you want to waste time, money and nerves, I recommend it. They sold me a knowingly broken car, took money for repair, but in the end, after 3 months they simply offered to exchange this car with the help of trade-in for another one (respectively, I would have to pay the difference in this car), or just pick up my car with a breakdown as it is. Gross misrepresentation about the condition of the vehicle we purchased. Horrible after sales service and responses from the dealership. Once they had our money we were largely ignored. The salesman either had no idea what the condition was of the vehicle he was selling, or was extremely deceptive about the condition of the vehicle. Either way it's negligence and misrepresentation. He also made assurances about repairs the dealership would take care of as part of the sale. Then after the sale, the manager straight up said they would not honour the salesman's promises. In my opinion, the entire deal felt like one lie after another just to close the deal. If you don't care about getting fleeced, go ahead and spend your money here. read more

I had a test drive for 930am this morning after speaking with the Sales Manager MOE RAHMAN the day before. He told me the car would be ready and he would see me in the morning. When I arrived the majority of the staff could be seen standing around, heads down staring at their cell phones. I found the sales manager RAHMNAN and reminded him of my scheduled test drive. The car was NOT ready to go. It hadn't been cleaned and the battery was dead! Way to go Moe! 30 minutes later and the car was boosted and running. After a short test drive I didn't waste anymore time there and left. Will NOT step foot again in this dealership again. And seeing the overall reviews (1.5 stars) on this site many others feel the same way. Clearly management has no concerns about improving the customer service and experience there. Let me start by saying that this was the worst car purchase experience in our lives and we are seniors. We purchased a 6 year old top shelf truck from them and paid for the extended warranty, which we later learned doesn't take effect for 30 days after purchase. The warranty is the dealers responsibility for the first 30 days after purchase. 2 days after delivery, June 4th, we hit the road from Edmonton for our 7 week trip to BC. We literally limped into a Ford dealership in Kamloops where we informed that the truck required new brakes, a new transmission, new battery and new windshield wiper components. After several assurances that the truck would be brought back to Team Ford in a day or two, it did not happen. Out of sheer frustration and tired of the runaround from Team Ford we hired a lawyer to make things right. 6 weeks after breakdown the truck was finally picked up from Kamloops and brought back to Edmonton. We picked up the repaired truck and a cheque for our out of pocket expenses on August 2nd. 8 weeks after breakdown! Several thousand dollars in legal fees and the sheer lack of empathy or hint of an apology from Team Ford, has left a very sour taste in our mouths. From our hearts we cannot recommend Go Team Ford to anyone. read more

WORST PLACE TO BUY A CAR FROM!! Beware!!! Go anywhere else!! Do not go here!! So when I was first looking for a suv, it was advertised on carguru for a certain price, got into the dealership and they said that's not the listed price anymore and it was actually $500 more.. that should have been my first warning to leave... Fast forward to us purchasing the suv and they added a $499 "mandatory " etching fee on the car.. we tried to say we didn't need that since we didn't see the value in having the VIN etched onto the car door but no we were told it's not an option, only to find out.. IT IS NOT MANDATORY! We also declined any additional coverage ect on the car and they charged us $1800 for a "smart protection" for dents, scratches and if I spill coffee inside the car they will clean it... So tell me why the dents are in my SUV still and when I purchased it they said they don't cover that. Great. ALSO when I was buying it, I said "will this be detailed before I pick it up" and the sales person Fizer, literally told me they don't normally do that.. Nice so you want someone to give you guys thousands of dollars and you can't even detail the car? Amazing Either way TERRIBLE, so so so terrible, I would never recommend this place to anyone. Recently purchased a used 2016 Nissan Pathfinder, took 7 days longer for delivery after being promised it would be ready twice. Recall still wasn't completed and to top it all off- the only two things I asked to be fixed upon delivery- air conditioning and heated and cooled seats- were not completed and the sales manager indicated that if it wasn't written into the contract there was nothing he could do to help me. Would strongly suggest looking elsewhere if buying a used vehicle. The salesperson I worked with (Humraj) was dishonest on multiple occasions, and the overall buying process was terrible. Nearly 4 hours of sitting at the sales desk while every single question, negotiation, etc. took ~15-20 minutes for the sales manager at the back to answer. Despite being promised a certain discount by the salesperson after originally viewing the vehicle, he ultimately did not honor it and blamed his manager for turning it down. Regardless, I was at the point where I was ready to just agree to the price they had settled on (which was basically just half the discount that was originally promised). At this point I am thinking the rest will be smooth sailing, but the salesperson comes back with a purchase agreement and asks me to sign so he can collect a deposit and we can begin finalizing the deal. The price we agreed upon is listed, however, he slipped in a $500 "anti-theft" fee that I noticed when I read through the document. I asked what it was about, and he said that it was a charge that must be included because "unlike other dealerships, they do not charge any documentation fees". I was immediately skeptical and spent nearly 10 minutes arguing with him about this fee that was NEVER disclosed, not posted on their website, and was absolutely slipped in at the last minute after a painful 3-4 hours of coming to agreement on a price. It wasn't until I told him I was ready to walk away when he checked with his manager (and this time - funny enough - came back with a response 60 seconds later) that he was willing to "waive" the fee. After looking into this a bit, it is clear that this practice was not only in direct violation of AMVIC rules of all-in advertised pricing (which I will be filing a formal complaint with them about), but is also in direct conflict with their "Go Auto Advantage" listed on their website regarding "No extra fees". While I was able to call them out on this garbage and have them remove it, there is no doubt in my mind that others have fallen victim to this at this place. While there were numerous instances where I caught the salesperson in an outright lie, there was one in particular that I wanted to note here. The Carfax report for the vehicle they provided indicated there was an "open recall". When reviewing the report, he said that they had confirmation that the recall had been since addressed and that it was no longer open despite what the report stated. I ended up pulling my own report as I had noticed the report they provided was considerably out of date; This new report showed that the recall was in fact still open. When questioned about outright lying to me about this, he could not come up with an excuse as to where he in fact received "confirmation" that the recall was previously addressed. When the time came to finally pick up the vehicle, despite being told it would be cleaned prior to handing it over, the car was clearly still dirty in both the interior and exterior (dirt on the body, coffee spills in the cup holders, etc.). Had to fight tooth and nail for them to finally agree to rinse it off and run a cloth over the spills. The fact it wasn't detailed, even lightly, is absurd, and the level of standard they have at this dealership is not at all in line with anything I have ever seen. All in all, I would not step foot in this place again and strongly warn anyone considering to do so that there is a good chance you will have a similar negative experience that I did. read more

Longer term customer at Team Ford. Bought my last 2 cars there. Went in to trade my vechile on a used newer model. Test drove it on a Wednesday. Was promised they would have the car ready for me on Friday. That they would wash it, detail it and repair the chips in the windsheild. Got a call it was not ready, but would be on Monday. All I had to do was bring in my vechile to swap out the tires. Well swaping of tires took 5 hours. Drove it home and realized that the same dirt that was in the car when i test drove it, rock chips not repaired, nor washed. took it back and spoke to a manager. He said that car would be delived to me by the end of the day. It was not! Nor did i get a phone call. Needless to say I was pissed! Tuesday no call by 11 am so i went to the dealership. The keys where thrown at me and the sales man told me we were parting ways. I was left on the curb crying as i was so frustrated. Went to ge registration, to find out i need a out of town inspection report, which was not given to me. i went back to the dealership to get the report from the service department as i was fed up with the sales department. He gave me a photo copy of the inspection report. Went back to get registration, was told i needed the orginal. Yep i started to cry in frustration. The nice lady at the DMV called Team explained what she needed. Team told her no promblem they would bring it right over. 30 minutes later i get a call from Team saying i had the orignal, explained no i did not. They spoke to the lady at the DMV and told her they would have it there shortly. 50 minutes later a man shows up with the report. I got the regatstration and left. To my suprise the dried up ice cream on the dash was still there! Koodles to the DMV on 91 street and shame on Team Ford. I would of gotten better service as the self check out at walmart! Remeit Bhatal the director of finance at team ford allowed this to happen. i purchased 2018 ford escape SEL brand new from this dealership. the sales man i was dealing with his name is (Janie) he no longer works for team ford. when financing this new car Janie explained this so called "gas and go" warranty meaning his words verbatim " all you need to do is put gas in your car , we cover everything bumper to bumper for the full 6 year term regardless of how many Km you accumulate , from wiper blades to chipped paint". he stated that it covers everything at an extra cost of 48 dollars more bi weekly consolidated into the finance of my car bringing the payments from 350 bi weekly to 398 bi weekly. i figured why not i will spend the extra 48 dollars bi weekly to cover me from the wear and tear for when the manufactures warranty doesn't cover me since I'm not a mechanic , so I purchased it. Now fast forward 2 years later my ford escape is making a knocking sound coming from the drivers side front end. i bring it into ford and am greeted by a man named "Rhmeit Bhatal " . Rhmeit informs me that my extended warranty is no longer valid as my car is over 100,000Km. i explained to Rhmeit " well that's why i purchased this "gas and go" warranty to cover me from problems that arise down the road when my manufactures warranty expires. i asked Rhmeit why am i still paying for an extended warranty that i am not allowed to use. i was flat out lied to by this sales man (Janie). Rhmeits response to this " well you signed the contract so there's nothing i can do for you; and theres is no way that we can retract the payment of 45 dollars by weekly its not going to happen he tells me. Now the people involved in finance have no interest in fixing this issue which has turned out to be both driver side and passenger side strut bearings. i have the paper work from team ford Rhmeit brought my car in to be inspected. fast forward 2 weeks later he did allow this to be fixed at no cost to me. so i left my car there all day today , only to pick my car up with the issue not being resolved. I called this man Rhmeit back and he said they fixed it and he will not have the issue looked at again. This man is very inconsiderate towards fords customers, ive never been treated this way ever. the issue is not fixed i have the paper work stating it was fixed at the shop today only to get my car back with the same knocking sounds coming from the drivers side front end. what should i do i feel so bad about what has happened to me at this team ford dealer and don't know where to turn. ?? how can these people acknowledge the issue at hand agree to fix it , then give my car back to me not fixed with the same issue. again i have the paper work from team ford service department stating it has been fixed and taken care of??? is there someone higher up that i can explain this to via in person or on the phone ?? Bait and switch. Was looking for a specific model of truck, called Team Ford, and was told they had one incoming. We agreed to the MSRP price so I put down a deposit. Then when it arrived I got a phone call saying they wanted 10k more than discussed. After some more calls that turned into an "Alberta package" that also managed to cost around 10k and had about 3k of value in it. Bright side they didn't wait until I was in the dealership to try changing the price and I didn't have to fight to get my deposit back. Overall a frustrating and pointless experience. I wouldn't bother dealing with Team Ford again and would advise friends and family against it. read more

I changed my tires and took SUV to them for alignment and they told me they will get back to me when the job is done. 3 hours later they called that the alignment couldn't be done for they discovered other issue. But they gave me a bill of over $120 for inspection and the time it took to determine the problem. I argued I didn't come to inspect and I was forced to pay. I summoned courage and took the car to another garage to re-confirm the problem. The alignment was perfectly and professionally done and I have been using the car for a long time now without alignment issue or any issue for that matter. read more

I took my Ford Explorer in for leaking coolant. I was told that I needed a new water pump that ended up costing me $3,200. When I got my vehicle back it was then leaking oil. I had to take my vehicle back to them again for a defective gasket. When I got my car back after that it was then stuttering when I would accelerate. So I took it back a third time and was told I needed new spark plugs. $540 for six spark plugs, I asked how much it would be to just replace the one damaged spark plug and was told $10 for the spark plug $30 for labor. I'm still not sure how they come up with $540 for six spark plugs when one is only $40 parts and labor. Then I was charged another $150 for yet another diagnostic. You would think they would have at least waived the diagnostic fee considering this was the third time I've had my vehicle in with two new problems that didn't exist before I took it in the first time. I will never take my vehicle back here again I feel like because I don't know much about vehicles I was ripped off and I will be warning anybody I know not to take their vehicle there. read more

Team Ford takes advantage of a Family from Ukraine! Every aspect of the used car purchase was terrible - Sales, Finance and Service. Promises made during the sale process never materialized. The sale numbers never added up and were fraudulently presented to them in order to deceitfully entice them to purchase a car warranty. The warranty was offered at a low payment cost because the original payment offer was fraudulently presented. When the vehicle was picked up, the vehicle had not been cleaned and the low tire warning was on and before we got home the ABS warning light came on. When we brought the vehicle back my wife was talked down to by the Sales Manager. Eventually, the tire was patched and the ABS was fixed but it took a fight to have this completed for free. Communication between sales, finance and service (all in the same building) were non-existent with everyone telling me to talk to the other department or that the manager was not in today. The family, coming to Canada with essentially nothing, was taken advantage of and have a used vehicle that still has a warning light on and bald tires. We have an outside recommendation to replace the rear tires immediately. Since they do not have a lot of money, they will have to drive their family and new baby around on bald rear tires. I just received a phone call from Dre the sales representative with Team Ford and I quote. 1) "You should watch yourself and what you write for the reviews" 2) "Take your business to &%#$ Ford" This was in reference to me buying a 2019 F150 Limted from City ford 3) "Do you just drive around to all the dealerships writing 1 star reviews" ... No i just make sure that if i had a bad experience that i write it down so others won't have to go through this again. I was very fortunate that they have an amazing front of house receptionist who was polite and will follow up with the manager... I would never expect to be threatened by "Dre" and i hope next time you have a choice on which Ford location to pick take sure its anything but Team Ford. read more

So we decided to try our luck and come back here to look for a new truck.....what a mistake. We went on a test drive and got our trade in appraised. The appraisal took a long time (close to 45 minutes) because they had to take it off site. We were offered much less for our trade in than was expected. We have low kms, been keeping up servicing (through their service dept) and was offered over $10,000 less than what was stated on the low end of the Canadian Black Book. When i brought that up the manager and sales man laughed at me and told me i was reading the value incorrectly. When they put in the numbers into black book they came up with the same value but continued to laugh at me. When we were trying to make a deal on a new truck we informed them during the barganing process that we received a better offer and trade in value at another dealership. The manager kept laughing and insulting me and my husband saying there's no way even though we had a copy of the offer to show them. I felt so insulted and belittled from this staff we got up after some colorful words and walked out. We found later that afternoon that we still had their dealer plate on our truck. Its still in the back seat and it gives me pain to have to walk back in there to give it to them. When Go Auto says their slogan is "We're Happy to Help", know it's a lie and save yourself the pain and anguish and go somewhere else. They have absolutely no concept of the meaning of customer service. read more

LONG REVIEW BUT BUYERS SHOULD TAKE NOTICE. If you're thinking about buying a vehicle from this particular dealership DONT. My experience with them has been the worst experience buying a vehicle by far. I bought a 2016 Range Rover off them recently and they had me sign the bill of sale before I ever seen a motor vehicle assessment ( inspection) of the vehicle (which after looking into it found out that's illegal). The sales rep told me the vehicle was getting the inspection done and if everything was good he would reach out to me and I could come pick my vehicle up. I got the OK that the vehicle was ready for pick up and everything with the inspection was good. I drove two and a half hours to pick it up nobody at the dealership had a clue where the vehicle was which was weird to me because didn't it just come out of an inspection ????? When I got there I was told everything with the inspection was good and took the keys signed the papers and was ready to leave. Turned the wipers on and it was hanging off the wiper arm. I told Victor Kim the sales rep and he said just go buy one and they would reimburse me. So good enough. I got home and there was sensors popping up about the air ride system saying I couldn't go over 50kms an hour , the engine light came on and much more. I reached out to the dealership and was put in touch with Sheldon Dimma who said the vehicle was sold as is. I thought he was joking at first. He was being serious. I never once heard the words as is or signed paperwork saying this vehicle was sold as is. They were willing to fix everything wrong with the vehicle but at that point I didn't want the vehicle. If I knew all that stuff was wrong with it in the beginning I wouldn't have agreed to buy it. They offered to take it back and offered to get me into something else. They put me through to the used sales manager James and the general sales manager Joey. I won't put their last names in here but it's easy enough to find out if you call their dealership and ask for either of them. We found another vehicle and I began the process of getting into it instead. I asked about our trade in that was part of the first deal and they said that the trade in was gone and couldn't be used in the second transaction. The trade in was valued at 8000$ and that was now gone because it was part of the first loan. They moved a whole bunch of numbers around and ensured me I was getting a fair deal on the second vehicle which wasn't true. They carried money over from the first loan and added it on the second and basically got a car for free out of me that got lost in the first loan. We agreed on a number for vehicle two and they assured me I would have absolutely no issues with this vehicle at all. They did the inspection on it and it passed with flying colours , or so I thought. I got in the car at the dealership and the speakers weren't working. They told me to take it to Hyundai and they would cover the cost for the repairs. I booked it in and found a whole bunch more problem. The oil filter housing was cracked and leaking oil , the cabin air filter was so plugged it wasn't working , the blower motor was messed up , the brakes were no good in the back of the vehicle , and the interior lights in the back weren't working among other things. I brought this to their attention and they declined to cover the cost of the repairs which came to over 2000$. All of this stuff should have been taken care of before this vehicle left the dealership. I called them and they told me to stop trying to EXTORT them. Are you kidding me ? They have left me no choice but to contact the ALBERTA MOTOR VEHICLE INSPECTION COUNCIL (amvic) to file a complaint against them and hopefully have this matter investigated. If you have had an experience like this or just a horrible experience in general with this dealership I hope you reach out to AMVIC and they can take action against them. Zero communication from the service department and a big bill to go with it. I was left stranded without a vehicle and if I hadn't followed up a few times, I would never have been told my vehicle wouldn't be ready that day. Not only was I stuck trying to find a ride home, the service advisor Jeff couldn't be bothered to talk to me in person or on the phone about my vehicle. I got a few texts and that was it. Even when I picked up the vehicle, I only spoke to the cashier who seemed completely indifferent to the situation. Definitely will take my business elsewhere next time. When you take your vehicle in for service prepare to not have it back in their time frame. I've been dealing with them for 4 years and everytime i take my vehicle in ( yes, I need the dealership) they say itll be ready the next day. NOT ONCE HAD THIS BEEN TRUE. My current situation is apparently a rock chip, oil change and detail take 48 hrs and an oil change takes 24. They have no concern for your time, go elsewhere. Victor is a terrible sales man. For most people/ families buying a car is a big purchase and you want to make sure you're getting exactly what you want for the right price when searching for a new vehicle. As you can put deposits on cars which is $500 and the deposit is 100% refundable, we had decided to do so while deciding on a Lexus SUV. After searching around for the best prices and features offered, we had found a car for a little bit more and that was a newer model, lower kms and offered better features that we appreciated more.We then had to ask Victor for our deposit, not once but several times... even after the second and third time he begun to say "who's this?" This was the most unprofessional sales person I have had to deal with. So disrespectful I can't believe I was about to do business with someone like this. We also still never received our deposit, so we reached out to one of our friends who works in a dealership and he reached out to Victor to give us back the deposit because it's refundable... he then responded and said he is going to make us work for our money because we had wasted his time. Do you really think that people go and purchase the first vehicle they look at? When spending thousands of dollars I am going to make sure I am getting exactly what I am looking for. Worst Customer Service EVER.... I should not have to phone and leave message after message for 2 weeks... Have heard nothing from Sales or Finance... Stay Away from this place... Shortly After writing the above review... I received a call from a "manager" who again took all my information and stated that someone from finance would contact me shortly... and pushed and pushed for me to delete my review (personally I believe he only called to ask me to remove it). I have yet to hear from any Finance Anyone... Hubby getting extremely frustrated... drives to Team Ford Saturday October 24th... we are quickly rushed into the Finance Directors Office.. where we again relayed the exact information we have given to other employees (5 different people to be exact)We were told he would get back to us either later that day Saturday October 24th or the following Monday... STILL NO PHONE CALL.. STILL NO ANSWERS... Now I have no vehicle.. and have to wait a couple weeks for their enquires to be removed off my credit before I can go elsewhere... Great Job Team Ford... TEAM FORD FORGED MY SIGNATURE FOR FINANCIAL GAIN!! I purchased a vehicle for my 16 year old daughter last March, 2020. Her first vehicle.  I recently went to look at the paperwork because she wanted to see about trading it in for something a little newer after saving some extra money.  I pulled out a document for extended warranty....I declined extended warranty when we purchased the vehicle.  Guess what? MY SIGNATURE AND INITIALS WERE FORGED on this document!  Because of this, they added more money on to the loan and I have been paying interest on it since. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE!And get this, bought the car March 2020 but this extended warranty expired May 2019, 9 months before buying the car!Whats great is that I HAVE THE ORIGINAL DOCUMENT!So I called and spoke to a sales manager. I was told that the signature is clearly the same (it is not even close) and that since the sales manager at that time is no longer there, there is nothing they can do.  After I told him I had the original document, his attitude escalated and all the blame was placed on me because I waited for over a year and I signed the sales contract.  When I signed the sales contract, the sales manager DID NOT go through the documents with me, did not get me to initial where it shows I agreed to the warranty like other dealerships do, distracted me by talking about our kids playing soccer close to each other, and did not give me the documents at that time, instead I had to wait until I picked up the car, now I know why, it was so that they could use the documents I did sign to forge my signature and initials.Instead of being concerned that I have the original copy of a forged document by an employee from their dealership, they said it was my fault. This was by far the worst experience I ever had in trying to purchase a vehicle. The first thing that I hate about any dealership is when they bombard you before even get onto the lot. I swear they were watching me park and if I didn't get out of my car when I did I wouldn't be surprised if they knocked on my window. I hadn't even began looking and they were trying to show me vehicles that were way out of my budget and not even remotely close to what i was looking for. After looking at a dozen vehicles and not being shown anything I wanted I found something that I was interested in but not set on. I was looking at the Vibe but they didn't have the colour I wanted in house. I was told that the only one left in that colour was located in BC and that they could transport it here if I wanted. I was told to put down a deposit so it wouldn't be sold while I was thinking about it and if I choose not to go with the car the deposit would be refunded back to me. The next day I came back and decided I didn't want the vehicle after all and that I was still going to shop around. Well here's why I gave them the one star...They wouldn't refund my deposit at all. Apparently they went ahead and got the vehicle shipped here and that my deposit was to cover the freight charges. I tell you I have never been so mad in all my life, and it didn't matter who I spoke to, yell at nothing. I will never see that money again and I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone ever! service was great!! but the phone calls after trying to sell me a new car were annoying this is dating back a bit but I had a 6 month old 2009 Pontiac G6 that I got them to do an oil change on and a week later the sales department started calling trying to sell me a new ride... After asking to be on a do not call list I had to bribe an employee to change my number in their system calls have stopped YAYYY!!! read more

So editing reviews means you lose the previous review and apparently Yelp only allows so much characters to be typed. How can you put a max amount of characters on a review site? Silly! To recap. At the end of October we leased a 2007 Jeep Liberty Sport AWD from Team Ford. It took some time and it was frustrating. However we got it done. Shortly afterwards though, the vehicle started showing signs of problems. The windshield washer fluid didn't come out the front, and various other issues. The biggest one was that on Dec 22nd, the Jeep died. It hugely put a damper on our Christmas, our first Christmas here in Edmonton. We got the vehicle finally in for a servicing on Jan 4th, as most Go Auto dealerships were closed during the holiday time. When we brought it in for servicing we needed a Service Loaner, but the service dept said none were available. They told us to speak to our sales reps so we went looking for Kameel and/or Nick. Unfortunately both of them were in a meeting, instead Curtis came to talk to us. We told him the Jeep woes and he instantly was on ball with us getting rid of the Jeep and getting a new vehicle. He also helped us by sending us to Enterprise Car Rentals to pick up a rental vehicle, on Team Fords tab. They did this a total of three times for us, as we were getting out of the jeep and into our new vehicle. We visited the dealership multiple times between Jan 4th to Jan 11th. We talked numerous times to all three sales reps: Curtis, Nick & Kameel. They helped us fill out the lease application again as well as listened to our desires when it came to the new vehicle. This time we chose to go with a four door sedan, specifically the Ford Fusion. In the end we found out we got approved with financing through my own bank, which meant less interest and a better payment rate. They also took all the money we initially paid on the Jeep and transferred it over as a down payment. We were also told they found a 2011 Ford Fusion SE for us over on another Go Auto dealerships lot. It had some minor damage that was done while on lot, but their companies insurance was going to pay for it. We dealt with the insurance, registration and all matters that the Financing Dept needed us to deal with. However when we went to pick it up Nick approached us and told us that the minor damage hadn't been properly fixed. He asked us for a day so that the service department could fix it up right for us. We agreed because in all honesty, what was one more day? Then on the 11th while at work my phone blew up with text and voice messages. Turns out the 2011 Ford Fusion SE was in pieces in their service department. There was apparently more things wrong with it, other than just a dinged bumper. What came next, I did not expect. I was told that the general manager of the dealership was made aware of our issues (jeep died, this new car issue). So to fix the matter he slashed the price on a 2012 Ford Fusion SEL, so that it was in our price bracket!!!!!!! We test drove this vehicle a couple days before and loved it. We even asked if we could just take that one, but was told we couldn't afford it. So believe me when I say we were OVER THE MOON HAPPY with Team Ford, especially Kameel, Nick and Curtis (the internet sales dept). Great guys and a great dealership! This dealership is a by far the biggest scam. They use High pressure tactics to pitch a sale to you and further they don't even research on the valid promotions. It was a horrible experience dealing with team ford. Once you get in there, these guys will do anything to make a sale wIthout letting you think. He listened to my request for a vehicle with good pick up to get quickly onto high -speed main thoroughfares vs fuel economy being less important. He was insightful in promoting safety for my daughter being the prime concern. After our road test, he determined her driving skill and comfort level in driving the vehicle. He also perceived that I would be happy with a gently used vehicle. We are both extremely pleased with our 2,0 L used 2017 Fusion which still has 2 years bumper to bumper warranty and 4 years power train warranty.
