She really knew her stuff, and she contacted our insurance for us!! She also made sure she was here when the insurance adjuster came here to look at our roof. Even though other people told me insurance wouldn't cover the price of my roof, when Schonie did all that work, my insurance approved a new $19,000 roof within 3 days of being contacted by her. Also what made good even better..... was that it only took ONE day for them to put the roof on! ONE DAY!!!! My neighbors were astonished because some of their roofs took 3 days to install. Plus the crew that did our roof was amazing!!! They swept and blew off the property as well as going over it with a big magnet To pick up any nails or staples they might have missed. Also It would be pretty nice if homeowners would offer the shade of a tree or the shade of their backyard for the people who work so hard on their roof. I noticed that these guys put towels and blankets over their windows because that's where they take a break, in their hot car! Well I had An Ice chest full of water, some cookies and offered my patio for them to sit in the shade. I was told that never happens for them? So if you have a roof done just remember those people working in the blazing heat and at the very least have some water, and offer the shade of a tree and maybe buy them some popsicles or a snack, they deserve it!!!! The sales lady was nice, but each new step, you had to deal with a new person and practically start the process over. It took a lot of time to get the doors and windows. The installation was horrible, it took about six months to get the doors to shut without having to slam them. The second time out, the person finally got them ok, but my front door still flies open occasionally. As soon as the windows, which came much later, were installed, two of them would not open. It has been back and forth, manufacture, install, who's fault kind of thing. They are still not fixed. The expense was not reasonable, but we thought we were paying for quality and service. Which is what we found out was exactly what we did not pay for. In hind sight, should have continued to look for someone else Edit: wow, I was wondering if they just did not like us, but after reading the other low reviews, it sounds like those customers were also treated with subpar service. TVE finally put my daughter's experience on their top line. The man who came out had called and asked her if he did the things needed would she change her review. She said she would think about. After the repairs (which did not include everything that was talked about) she simply deleted her review. She was just done with TVE. I'm really glad they can do good service, by the look of the 5 star reviews, but that was just not our experience. Many phone calls, emails, warranty calls and photos all getting lost, I think that the stress of the time line and work does not indicate a good review. Then, the guy that came to our house seemed to be a little off put that I was the one there to talk to and not my husband. I counted 10 times he asked me when my husband was going to be home or saying how he wished my husband was there. He quoted me almost 40,000 for the roof not including the taking off and putting back on our solar panels. I kept telling him that we were going to be doing multiple other quotes the following day he but kept trying to convince me to go with them right then and there. I told him no, not until we get other quotes, I don't know how many times. He dropped the price down to 33,000 if I said yes but he just would not listen and i told him that this is a very large purchase and I am not going to be pressured into something like this so quickly but he still kept pushing. He was also very interested in the names of the other companies because he wanted to tell me if they were good companies or not. I did not have the names so he seemed a little bummed about that. I have a lot of patience but when I kept getting asked when the husband will be home I finally called my husband to tell him what was happening and how I was not thrilled with this guy. Luckily, my husband was a couple of minutes away and got home to see what the deal was. The guy went through the whole thing again with him. Got the price down to 27,000 but was telling us that we HAD to make a decision right then and there. My husband told him that we are doing the other quotes the next day and that he knew his selling tactics because he had to go through the same thing many years ago when he was a salesman and it wasn't going to pressure him. I remember that he also tried to guilt trip me into saying yes because it was taking time out of his day and taking other possible sales away from him. I caught him in at least 2 lies and one of them being that there weren't very many reviews on Yelp and all there reviews were great and that because they are part of the BBB they are the best. I have seen many companies part of the BBB and have a large amount of complaints so that held no validity for me and while we were talking I checked yelp and saw the reviews. Not only all of this, my folks went with DaBella for their siding and they were charged twice as much as they should have been. Then, the quality was very spotty and they had to have multiple things fixed. It took over a year to get someone out to their house to get this issues fixed as well. We most definitely did not go with DaBella and all of the other places we got quotes from were half the price and the company we went with has 5 stars, did not pressure us, was very down to earth, and been doing this profession for 25+ years. Be very wary of DaBella. They may have some good work but not in this area.

Rick came out and inspected the roof. He told us yes the roof is new but it was done incorrectly. So we scheduled the adjuster to come look. Rick kindly took time off to come and explain help us to talk with the adjuster. Result -Installation problem and some of the shingles did not adhere. Well some companies will cover the faulty shingles. Since it was mechanical or the installers fault the insurance would not cover it. But it was possible that the shingle company would cover the shingles that did not adhere. Rick has a friend who can identify all shingles he again came out and identified the shingles. The company would not warranty them. So my husband re-shingled the damaged areas himself to save money. He did it according to Rick's professional instruction. This company went way above friendly customer service if you ask me. For the rest of our lives this is who we will recommend.
