The work was completed in full, but payment was never made despite repeated follow-ups and shifting explanations. The homeowner confirmed they were paid months ago. Communication was inconsistent and unprofessional. I feel especially bad for one homeowner, a veteran currently hospitalized, who was put in the middle of this situation. My husband hired superior gutters after getting two other quotes. Superior was the most expensive but my husband felt that the owner was the most trust worthy and new what he was talking about. He was the only one that suggested installing actual bigger gutters on our house. Unfortunately we didn't have the budget to add to our upstairs but we will do that in the future. Ok. Let's start with the reviews. When I met with James the owner for the first time. I was SURE he paid for good reviews. Just cause he has so many good reviews. I will tell you this. These reviews are real! His bid was the highest bid. But I decided to pay for good quality. I took a chance with him cause I didn't really know it will be quality work indeed. I'm OCD with anything so I planned our new gutters install with new downspouts and foldable extensions. Color and placement. He was very knowledgeable and helped me out so clearly with my endless info requests. I'm very methodical so we made sure all my issues were addressed before day of install. On day of install he sent his superhero's crew. They were respectful, cleaned after themselves and made sure I was very happy with anything they did. I gave them the breakdown and even when I found out I made mistakes with some downspouts colors that just didn't work, they replaced them with no hitch or even questions. I was speechless. This company is the 2nd or 3rd service provider I ever encountered in my life that are professionals that do their work methodically and meticulously in a way that can be appreciated by any ocd and detail oriented person. It was a joy working with them and as I mentioned to James. I rather pay more for minimal to zero headache given by provider. One little thing, the job was done in two stages, one removal of old gutters and taking debries to the dump and second, install of new gutters. Between those stages, I was not notified by the crew that it will be a good idea to scrape off waterproofing gunk left over from old gutters and paint the fascia underneath to make it look seamless after the install. But I did that never the less, aka ocd me. And gutters turned out wonderful. Thank you James for our new 5" k style Gutters and leaf blaster pro leaf guard install. Since our roof is not new, after gutter install, My husband fixed two small flashings that weren't butting well and causing edges of gutter to leak and now it all works wonderfully. Hire them!! Product looks and feels of a good quality. I had them install gutters with their style of leafguard, feels and looks great, they installed a few small items that make sense, like a splash guard at the valley so when the water runs down it it will catch the water that is moving quicker and with more volume not allowing it to run over the gutter in the valley area. Overall looks and feels great, quick response quick bid on time to do the job. Couldn't give you an idea of cost value as no one else replied until after they already came did the job and finished it. Just the time I will save over the course of the next few years not cleaning gutters is worth it. read more

James was very accommodating when I called him one morning when I had the day off for a quote. He showed up that afternoon to give me an estimate on new gutters for our 1929 cottage. After getting no return calls from another company (Affordable Rain Gutter) I scheduled with Superior Gutter. My impression of James was high. He was friendly, personable, knowledgeable and was honest about his recommendations for what we needed and what we didn't. Our job was scheduled for a morning during the week but when I came home at lunch to check on progress no one had been on site yet. A simple miscommunication with the crew was fixed and they showed up that afternoon and completed the install. Upon inspection, the leaf covers were missing that had been ordered. I emailed James to see what was up and he replied almost immediately that they would return in the morning to finish the work. I would have preferred he reach out to me to let me know they'd be returning the next day as I need to make arrangements to leave our gate unlocked and our dogs locked up. Overall , we are happy with the product and they look very nice. They crew cleaned up after and hauled away the old stuff. Was recommended to Superior Gutter by our very excellent roofing company. Some delays to get the bid, but once we had the bid, we thought the company seemed like the right fit for our north end home. On the day of installation, which was delayed by the company, I arrived home as they were beginning the installation -- on the wrong building. I stopped the workers and pointed out the exact area for the installation. The gutters themselves are adequately made, although the finish work on the corners is not the best. The foreman offered to also install a necessary splash guard for the flow of water from the roof "valley" to hit the guard and go into the gutter. However, later when it rained, it was apparent that the splash guard should've been fabricated and installed in reverse, as water was still spilling onto our porch with the original installation. I called James, who said the foreman no longer worked for Superior Gutter, and that as the (necessary) addition was outside of the scope of the original bid, that I was on my own. I appealed to James to stand behind his company's work, to no avail. So, I climbed the ladder myself and fixed the problem.When my house was painted this fixed the appearance of the splash guard. I really don't like giving any negative reviews but I would not do business with Superior Gutter in the future. read more

I recently had some gutters removed and installed by Superior Gutter Company. It seems to be during this time of year you find many companies not returning calls for quotes. SGC not only answered the call but quickly came out to give me a very reasonable quote. They explained exactly what they were going to do and when we scheduled an appointment, they came when they were supposed to come and did the job exactly for the price they quoted and exactly how they said they would get it done. The color of the gutters match my paint exactly and it looks great. Easy to work with, friendly, on time and good pricing. What else can you ask for? We had another local company working across the street and the worker there said they would come out the following Friday to replace the downspout but they never did. They accommodated my schedule and came shortly after my house was painted to install brand new rain gutters. The crew is really great! They work and joke together and have a great time doing their job and they do a GREAT job. Their 15 years of experience is obvious by the meticulous quality of the installation. I also opted for the leaf guards -- a screen that bows and does NOT allow the leaves to lay flat and cover the holes --- highly recommended. I think you would be crazy to go with anyone else. They are so friendly and skilled... very good people. Out of the 3 bids I received they not only were the least expensive, but James was the only one who really seemed interested in doing the job (not to mention having the knowledge of what I needed for better drainage).
