So part of my issue is me and my lack of understanding but also with the business. I was given a…read morequote but failed to get a full understanding of how and what work needed to be done. At the end of the day, I paid $695 for one hours worth of work where someone got on a one story roof and blew shingle particles out of 317 feet of gutter. I would have thought it would be vacuumed. What happened is shingle particles were left everywhere, surrounding the house including patio, patio furniture, wasn't told to close the garage so it was all in my garage, on my vehicles, my neighbor's house, etc. One area needed a small amount of caulking for a leak. No one flushed the downspouts as stated on estimate. I called and they said they would send someone out to do that but at this point, I don't want them back. They are very personable people but I don't think electricians and plumbers even make close to $700 an hour for labor.

The first time because they didn't put the gutters in the right place. The second time because they didn't install flashing so that water wouldn't get onto my facia board and rotted out. And third, and this is what really got me, they didn't put enough slope in the gutter for water to drain out of it. These three things seem like incredibly basic things. A gutter installation company should understand how to do. But copper clouds seem completely clueless as to how to actually install a gutter.

Shouldn't we be put on their schedule whether it's in a couple days or a week? I called back and asked if no one has been in my area in the past 2 weeks because she said someone would come out within a week and she said "we schedule by the day so I can't give you an answer on that". No one has called to schedule us or anything. These gutter covers were not cheap either. Idaho Custom Rain Gutters cleaned and sealed my patio gutters in January. This work is under…read morewarranty. These gutters are now holding water and leaking. I called to schedule an urgent follow up visit because I am concerned about the gutters failing. I called first thing on Friday 9/12. No one returned my call. I called again on Monday 9/15. I was told that they had received my voicemail of 9/12 and someone would get back to me. I explained the urgency of my concern. By Friday 9/19 no one had called me back. I called again and was told there was no record of my initial call even though I had been told that Monday my voicemail had been received and all the calls are documented on my call log. I was told again that someone would get back to me that day to schedule a service call. No one called on 9/19. I finally received a call to schedule a service appointment on Monday 9/22, ten days after I requested an urgent appointment. This company clearly does not share my sense of urgency nor is it rushing to honor its warranty, as indicated by the slow walk in getting back to me. I have no confidence in their work or their guarantees. I have arranged for a different company to inspect my gutters even though this should be covered by the warranty. I'd rather incur the additional costs of starting over with a different company than trust them with the work.
