I was in Modesto for the day and was craving boba. I'm glad I found this place. It's a great location to hang out with friends and grab a couple snacks. They have drinks, snacks, board games to play, and even claw machines. The workers were super nice as I took my time exploring their menu. I got the Kyoto and it had a good level of sweetness. The drink comes with pudding and boba as well. I wanted popcorn chicken that day but unfortunately they ran out so I went with the lumpia. The next stop in my tour of all the tea shops in the Central Valley found me at Tealite and I've been so excited to try this spot in particular! I love all things ube. Sweet, savory, food or drink, if that delightfully purple ingredient is featured then I want it. Immediately. Enter Tealite and their amazing Ube Vietnamese Coffee! On a late summer scorcher, this iced beverage is a must-get. For me, ube always reminds me of an ice cream cone, and paired with Vietnamese coffee, the whole thing takes on this chocolate-soft-serve-on-a-cone flavor profile. It's such a treat, without feeling decadent or heavy in any way. Also, you can totally swing by for one of these if you're suffering from that 2:30 feeling without worry that you'll be absolutely buzzing at bed time. The caffeine level is dialed in! Tealite is also so cute inside! Bright, clean, and most importantly, cool inside (temperature wise). Theresa waited on me and she was so friendly and polite and even offered some restaurant suggestions! Have been here 3x. Each time the boba teas have been amazing. Purple orchid has been our favorite. Once made the mistake of getting the iced coconut Thai coffee. Gross. Super thick and coconut flavor tasted super fake, almost alcohol like. Just stick with the teas. read more

I've been here twice now and the tea + service is always great. I got the passionfruit oolong tea at 25% sweetness with honey boba, my partner got the jasmine grapefruit tea at 25% with rainbow jelly. I appreciate a tea house that knows how to adjust their sweetness (25% truly tastes like 25%), and where the boba is soft but still has a nice chew. We also got their steam buns (one chicken and one pork), and those were tasty too. We usually opt for chicken snacks, which they make really well here, but decided to try something different. They were smaller than expected, but other than that, the flavor was good. The chicken filling tasted like chicken dumpling, and the pork tasted like char sui. Inside, it's very open and clean. I usually just take my order to go, but they have games you can play while you wait for your order, which I saw other customers doing. You don't even know how happy I am to have some freshly brewed Vietnamese coffee in the central valley.... Not to mention being able to try out pandan and ube viet coffee soooo delicious, not too sweet, fresh too! My friend got the taro le crème and she loved it!!!! Great spot to get a variety of Tea, Coffee and Snacks. I've had the chicken, lumpia and Thai tea smoothie, all of them delicious and satisfying. The staff is really friendly and they do their best to provide quality drinks to your liking, if you don't like your drink they offer to make you one that will make you happy. This coffee smoothie has a different flavor from any other coffee smoothies that I tried from other local boba shops at every place that I go to. Well, coffee is coffee, and it can sometimes have its own flavor depending on the flavor. Vietnamese coffee is somehow a little sweet in which I asked to be added a regular amount of sweetness. The service is satisfied with the questions that I asked in regard to the coffee and when I ordered the drink, it seemed to be a good choice for me to make. My visits were closer to the Summer but was busy on the campaign trail so just now getting around to the review and have been back several times since. My first visit I enjoyed a perfect balance of sweetness and strength with the coffe le creme , a drink in their "Le creme" series and boy do I love me some creme ! Loved the taste and kept me up for a busy day without the crash. My next visit I wanted something that packed a punch but not as sweet so I went with the traditional viet coffee and it did not disappoint. STRONG with a perfect hint of sweetness. This is actually my second review of this boba shop. The first I didn't post. I visited this boba shop during their soft opening. I ordered the taro boba smoothie. It wasn't the best but because it was their "soft" opening, they were very accommodating and replaced my taro boba smoothie which came out perfect. My taste bud is very particular. I knew down the road I would want something different and a unique drink. Today I went back during their grand opening. Though I missed the festivities, I was able to take advantage of the $5 le creme drink. I ordered the taro la creme. It had two of my favorite add-ins (boba and egg custard). The drink was DELISH. It also had the brown sugar syrup. I'm definitely coming back for that drink. I think I found my fav drink at this place. Service has been consistent and the price is pretty comparable to other boba shops. Definitely worth the 12min drive for my boba fix. Stopped by here while visiting a friend. This is a really cute and cozy shop! They have games for those who dine in and want to hang out while having a drink or snack. They display their boba cart that you can rent. There are also 2 claw machines! They have a good selection of drinks, as well as a section where you can customize your own. I came in with the intent to try out their Vietnamese coffee series and my friends and I had the Pandan coffee, egg coffee, and the traditional. I haven't tried the egg coffee yet but the pandan coffee was really good. I'm actually a little obsessed with it to be honest. My friends really loved it. A little hidden gem in the McHenry Walmart shopping center. The ambiance is simple but bright and welcoming. There are two self-ordering screens but if you prefer to have your order taken manually, the employees are always friendly and attentive. They also have a few small claw machines and board games for anyone who wants to keep busy or hang out. We have tried a fair share of their menu including the teas, shakes/smoothies, and snack bites but my favorite has to be their Viet coffee series. I had seen an ad on IG about a new boba place opening and decided to try it. I got the Chai Crème I added pudding to mine, and the other two people built their own. We also ordered the Lumpia's. First off, the service was AMAZING! They were so helpful and suggested a few drink options. We got our drinks and the guy told us if there was anything we did not like he would remake our drinks for us. There was absolutely no need, the drinks were spectacular! A couple minutes later our lumpia's were ready, and those too were delicious. The day we went they had a special, but two get one. I didn't even have to mention it, the cashier was already getting all those deals in for us. I am beyond ecstatic for their grand opening. The gentleman also informed us of the deals they would have throughout the day. Honestly, you guys do not want to miss out!
