Two Entrees: Empress chicken & crispy pork
    Tiffany B.

I finally got to try the food at Tealicious through Door Dash. I'm actually pleasantly surprised at the amount of choices and items on the menu. I went with the 2 entrees plate. It's a very full plate. The empress chicken and crispy pork were delicious. However, I felt like it was too much rice for the amount of protein given. I do like the fact that there are vegetables included in the plate. I do think the food is yummy and the prices are fair. I would get this again.

A very busy lunch spot for Chinese food with a nice variety of lunch/dinner/plates and family style dining available. The food is pretty good, fresh, and reasonably priced, and I like the large selection on the menu. I had the duck and rice plate of which came with cabbage. It was very good, with an abundance of rice. Our table also ordered the Singapore noodles with shrimp, which I liked with a curry flavor to it. Though the food was very good, and very authentic, the service quick bit sparse, especially when they get busy. They get your food out to you quick, but you may not see them again til they bring the bill unread you catch their attention. The store front window, the only window in the small restaurant, can use a good cleaning, as does the wet bathroom floor, is my only complaint.

This restaurant in a busy strip mall is a great place for lunch or diner if you love roasted/ bbq'd traditional style. We ordered the roasted duck lunch over rice and it came with a veg on the side. It was an ample serving and the succulent duck is delicious. We offered a side order of roast pork belly, and it was equally delicious with a juicy texture and the crunchy traditional pork skin. So Yummy!! When we arrived there was only one other person eating, by the time we left, the place was packed! Service was efficient and kind. Please note that there are two spotless restrooms for customer use. Today the floors leading to the restrooms were scary slippery!! Almost felt like it was coated in grease.

Our boss introduced us to this place and I really enjoyed the food. You have to go early before the lunch rush because you can tell they get easily packed. On our way out there is already a wait. After seating, they ask you if you like tea. I asked instead for hot water and they complied. Ordered their BBQ rice plate with roasted duck and crispy pork and it was served with napa cabbage. My coworkers mentioned they change up the veggies. Enjoyed the pork and duck but coworker said normally there is more meat on the pork than what we had which had more fat. Enjoyed it nonetheless. Space is enough for me but because a lot of people go there so it gets packed. One request will be to go easy on the msg. I can really feel it after eating.

Bought tea bc toddler had to use the restroom. $6 + tax for the large egg pudding tea... not sure that the cup i got was large... it's those skinny tall ones. Egg pudding was good and the classic milk tea was good. Overall i guess the price isn't bad since the egg pudding is usually a topping that costs extra. The tea came out within 5min of me ordering. Seemed pretty busy at around 2pm on a Saturday. Had a lot of different food u can order.

Update: We decided to try their menu and stayed to eat at the dining room. We of course ordered duck. My husband loves roasted duck. The duck was good. The duck was too greasy. Not sure why, it was like they poured oil over it. The duck skin was a little chewy, the skin lost its crisp. We also ordered some Yang chow fried rice, Wonton soup, and pork chow mien Hong Kong style. All the dishes were pretty good. They staff was nice. Overall, I would eat here again. Everything tasted good.

The soy sauce chicken and salted chicken are SCRUMPTIOUS. That's all I have to say. Call 24 hrs in advance if you want the whole salted chicken.

Food amazing as always. Fresh and flavorful. Roast duck is tender and cooked amazingly. Soft and crispy with many flavors. Salt and pepper shrimps were just the right amount of salt. Some restaurants over power the salt and make it salty, but yesterday's was great. The shrimps were a great size which is worth the price. The fried rice was for the kids. So I didn't really have any, but it was all gone after lunch so I'm sure it was amazing. Chow fun can have a little more of the soy sauce but it was good. It's a good balance with all the other flavorful food. So it was a great balance. Service is great as always. Greets you when you walk in. Restaurant is clean and I wouldn't mind eating inside.

Yummy, Their food was always tasty and good. Chicken and duck were tasty. Pizza scallion was good. Always our go food when we are craving Chinese food. Ambience was cozy even though it's small restaurant.

If you're looking for some good Chinese roast duck in Sacramento and don't want to get it from an Asian supermarket, try out Tealicous! Their duck is flavorful and the skin is thin and slightly crispy when you eat it right away. They also give a delicious sweet plum dipping sauce. You can do a half order or full order of their popular roast duck. A full order would cost around $34, which is the typical market price. I recommend calling ahead to order because sometimes they run out, and it will save time when you get to the restaurant because you wouldn't have to wait for it to be prepared. Employees are nice and service is fast. It can get crowded inside the building during the afternoon and dinner time on weekend because the restaurant building is not that big, but they try to fit as many tables and chairs as they can. Finding parking in front of the store can be challenging since it shares a small lot with a bunch of other stores. The restaurant has a drink menu as well. I got a milk tea before and it was okay. I like the fruit teas more.

    Peking duck and char siu

Tealicious has quickly become one of my favorite go to spots in town, especially for their absolutely phenomenal Peking duck. It is hands down the best in the area and the main reason I keep coming back. You really cannot go wrong with any of their classics: the Peking duck, char siu, Hainanese chicken, and crispy pork are all beautifully prepared and consistently delicious. I am not the biggest fan of their ramen or drinks, but honestly, that is not why you come to Tealicious. They are perfectly fine as extra options, great for the kids or anyone wanting something different, but the real stars are definitely the roasted meats. The ambience is small and homey, giving it that cozy, welcoming feel. It is a great place to bring friends, out of town guests, or even just to grab a feast to take home. In fact, picking up a whole duck from here has become a holiday tradition. It never disappoints. PS: If you are ordering a duck to go, be prepared for a wait. We have run into situations where they do not start cooking the duck until you arrive, which can add about 30 extra minutes. Not a deal breaker, but definitely something to plan for. Tealicious is a gem: unpretentious, flavorful, reliable, and hands down the best place around if you are craving top tier duck. Highly recommended.

Tealicious in Sacramento is a hidden gem for Chinese BBQ lovers! The roasted duck is juicy, flavorful perfection--crispy skin and all--paired with their refreshing teas and drinks. Their tea chicken is a sleeper. Don't forget to ask for ginger scallion sauce on the side. Cozy vibe, decent service, and generous portions make it worth every bite.

Came here after finding Rice Theory was sold out and Tealicious was located in the same parking lot. We walked in and it was busy but the wait wasn't too bad before we were seated. Yelp said they were know for their roasted duck and roasted pork. We got the beef chow fun, roasted duck rice place, thin egg noodles with soy sauce, mango fruit tea, and taro milk tea. Took a while for all the dishes to come out. The duck came out first and the flavor was spot on! It was a little sweet but had a that nice roasted taste. Some of the pieces were more bone than meat which was disappointing. The chow fun came next and rice noodles were thick and soft. The thin egg noodles came last and was a little too greasy for me. The tea drinks were good but tasted like any other boba spot. Service was like your standard busy restaurant, a little messy and chaotic. The staff did their best to bring out the drinks and food quickly. It's nice to know a good roasted duck spot and we hope to be back!

The woman at the front who took my order was very nice. I've dined in before and the tables are fully set up with all the necessary condiments, but today I just needed to get home and hope the food could do its thing. I ordered the pho gai, which is lighter and cleaner than the typical Vietnamese beef pho. The broth has a slightly fermented, deeply umami flavor, probably from fish sauce, along with lemongrass, chicken broth, chicken breast, and ginger. Perfect when you're stuck with a cold. It was packaged really well with chili oil, jalapeños, celery, lime, and the noodles on the side. There isn't a ton of chicken if you're looking for high protein, but I didn't care. It was so good and soothing. Nothing like sweating over a bowl of herbal soup while sick. I also ordered the Lao sausage, which has a great blend of aromatics, especially lemongrass. It comes with a sauce I'm not totally familiar with, but it's bright and limey, likely fish-sauce based, with something like charred pepper or tomato that almost reminds me of a Mexican salsa. So good. This place is awesome. I've only ever gotten soups here, but I definitely need to branch out and try more of the menu. Prices are very fair too. The soup alone was just under 1.5 liters so great bang for your buck.

We also had some dumplings such as Hargow , it was not good , looks and tasted like the ones i buy from the freezer at an Asian grocery store. The edges were dry and hard it seems like it's put in the microwave. I did asked the young lady if the hargow were microwave , she stated it was steamed . I will tell you, I was NOT DISAPPOINTED. Upon walking in, I was greeted by the staff, and given a menu to look at the food options available.
