I ordered the two entree plate with roast duck, crispy pork, and the vegetable of the day. The portion size was a good amount for the price and definitely satisfying. The roast duck was very good, incredibly flavorful. The crispy pork was tasty as well, though I was a little disappointed that the skin wasn't crispy at all. The vegetable of the day complemented the meal nicely and balanced everything out. I also tried their mango pomelo sago drink, which was refreshing, delicious, and just the right amount of sweet. The only downside is that the parking is limited, but other than that, this was a fantastic meal and I'll definitely be coming back! read more

They prioritize the to go orders over the diners. Got the 2-item rice plate with duck and crispy pork. The duck was all bones, the back part near the tail. I asked the server if that was normal and she got so angry and said we'd have to pay extra for a different section. I told her we'll pay extra and she took our plate away. They replaced those pieces with 1 cut up drumstick. The crispy pork was really good. The vegetables were completely cold. The table next to us ordered the same thing and specifically asked for duck drumstick or duck wing pieces and they weren't told they had to pay extra. The beef brisket clay pot came in a steel hot pot type pot, not clay pot. Full of tendon and ligaments, some cooked lettuce and daikon radish. This was underwhelming and not worth the price. The pork intestine clay pot came on a cast iron pan (like fajitas come on) and was stir fried with onions, bell peppers and red sauce. This was pretty good, but for sure needs to be eaten with rice. The crispy tofu is actually heavily salted and tossed with chopped jalapeños, red chilis and garlic. All you taste is salt. I would not order this again. I finally got to try the food at Tealicious through Door Dash. I'm actually pleasantly surprised at the amount of choices and items on the menu. I went with the 2 entrees plate. It's a very full plate. The empress chicken and crispy pork were delicious. However, I felt like it was too much rice for the amount of protein given. A very busy lunch spot for Chinese food with a nice variety of lunch/dinner/plates and family style dining available. The food is pretty good, fresh, and reasonably priced, and I like the large selection on the menu. I had the duck and rice plate of which came with cabbage. It was very good, with an abundance of rice. Our table also ordered the Singapore noodles with shrimp, which I liked with a curry flavor to it. Though the food was very good, and very authentic, the service quick bit sparse, especially when they get busy. They get your food out to you quick, but you may not see them again til they bring the bill unread you catch their attention. Headline: A Hidden Gem down Freeport Blvd! Location: Tucked into a strip mall off Freeport, parking is a bit limited, though we still found plenty of space. The place looks like a hole in the wall from the outside buyt once you step inside you find a cozy warm interior with modern decor. The crispy pork was absolute chef's kiss Portions are large enough that the rice plate with 2 entrees can serve two! Service: The service staff was excellent. Overall the service was friendly, quick and efficent, I really couldn't ask for more. This restaurant in a busy strip mall is a great place for lunch or diner if you love roasted/ bbq'd traditional style. We ordered the roasted duck lunch over rice and it came with a veg on the side. It was an ample serving and the succulent duck is delicious. We offered a side order of roast pork belly, and it was equally delicious with a juicy texture and the crunchy traditional pork skin. So Yummy!! When we arrived there was only one other person eating, by the time we left, the place was packed! Service was efficient and kind. Not sure why, it was like they poured oil over it. The duck skin was a little chewy, the skin lost its crisp. Our boss introduced us to this place and I really enjoyed the food. You have to go early before the lunch rush because you can tell they get easily packed. On our way out there is already a wait. After seating, they ask you if you like tea. I asked instead for hot water and they complied. Ordered their BBQ rice plate with roasted duck and crispy pork and it was served with napa cabbage. Came here after finding Rice Theory was sold out and Tealicious was located in the same parking lot. We walked in and it was busy but the wait wasn't too bad before we were seated. Came here with a group of 6 since it's one of my friend's favorite BBQ places in Sacrament, and this place did not disappoint! We came around 11:30am and there were plenty of seating, but there aren't a lot of big tables, so larger groups may be challenging. There was really only 1 table that fit our group of 6. There's a dedicated parking lot, but it's a bit narrow to get in and out of. Since we had 3 couples in our groups, we ended up mostly ordering a two entree rice plate with an extra BBQ dish to share. My boyfriend and I ordered roasted duck and pork neck meat as part of the rice plate, and crispy pork as the a la carte BBQ item. The duck was a bit too fatty for me, but the flavors were really good. I enjoyed both the pork neck and crispy pork a lot, and highly recommend those dishes! We also ended up ordering the stir-fried belachan ong cai and soy sauce tofu to share for the table, which were both really good.
