Whenever I am in the Provo/Orem area I love to try and come by here for my boba fix. One of my absolute favorite spots. I always tip cash because who knows if these owners now a days really give their employees the added tip that's always asked for these days on the POS (Point Of Sale) machine. My hope is yes, but some employees when asked have told me that they indeed do not always get their tips when added to the POS machine. So as the saying goes. Cash is KING when I feel the desire to tip great service. Wish they had a Salt Lake City location. My go-to Taro Hokkaido Tea Milk slush with cheese foam and brown sugar boba is always my favorite drink here. Regular sweetness.

Came here cuz someone said it's the best boba in Utah That's cap It's aight They have a lot of good choices but to say best boba in the state is a big reach cuz those tapioca balls weren't soft (but they weren't hard either like one spot I won't mention had em) This rating is based on the pearls and they weren't the best Were they bad? No Were they great? Ehh Overall it's a good stop if you're in Utah county but I wouldn't drive out just for boba. Maybe for the pepper pig plushies but not the bob's K bye

Service was good, came out really fast which was great! The tapioca pearls were just not my favorite. Soggy and flavorless :( other than that caramel chocolate slush was yummy.

I'd try this place again. They have a variety of options and are able to withhold the black tea from your drink if you don't want it. What I got: Honeydew Galaxy Tea with Mango Popping Boba - 4* it was very yummy. I really love honeydew. And I think I would've enjoyed it more if I hadn't broken my cup (completely my fault, I was trying to mix more of the syrup in the drink and thought hitting it against the table would help... Nope, it just split the cup. So I flipped the cup over, cracked open the bottom, and drank it upside down. Yay for solid plastic lids that kept my drink sealed while it was being consumed upside down!) You do have to shake your drink to mix it up so it doesn't stay all pretty the whole time you're enjoying it.

The service was fast and quick even though there was one person there. The shop was adorable and I was almost tempted into buying the boba plushies on the counter. The drinks were my favorite part, the taro milk tea and was sweet and had a toasty flavor to it. I also tried the Hokkaido matcha latte for the first time and it tasted like butter with a matcha flavor to it and it was delicious! Highly recommend this place if you're looking for something cool yet sweet to drink.

I really love Tea Mate! I think this is my favorite Boba place in Orem. My favorite is the Taro and Haikkado milk slush. The galaxy teas are also very yummy! The restaurant is pretty small, so if there are more than a couple groups it can get very crowded but that obviously isn't a problem if you take it to go. Service is good! Everyone has been friendly when I've visited.

Boba is good here but not over the top. I wasn't a fan of their cheese tea which I normally love. I found their cheese tea topping was too watery and tasted more like adding half and half on top. Beyond the cheese tea issue most things are good here and service is ok.

Best boba tea I've had recently! I came just after lunch and got the Galaxy Honeydew with regular boba. They recommend you mix it before you stick your straw in. So, just make sure you take a picture of it before you mix it up and separate all the cool colors. Taste was super fresh. Not overly sweet at all and the boba was soft and chewy. The people working there are super friendly and they made the drink super fast. Nice interior too if you want to hang out inside. There was also some seating outside. This is probably my favorite place so far since being here. There's a lot of flavors there and I'll be back to try the others. I'm a huge fan of Taro/Coconut boba tea/smoothies. That will be next.

This spot is a little hidden gem. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful in guiding me through their menu. The drink itself was delicious and one of the best Boba drinks I've ever had. Do yourself a favor and try this place.

If you are looking for the most authentic boba and teas, you need to stop at Tea Mate. Tea and smoothies made just like you'd find in Asia. They use some delicious milk, and quality ingredients in all their drinks. Smoothies do not use fresh fruit. So just a heads up, it is not like a Roxberry for a healthy drink after a workout. You are able to drop the sugar level on most selections though. Their Thai Tea was the absolute best ratio between tea and milk.

This new place is super clean, has such a friendly owner and great boba! I ordered the brown sugar icy milk while my friend ordered the Taro and Hokkaido milk slush. We both agreed that the Taro and Hokkaido milk slush was way better.Although it was a slush, it was very creamy and did not have any ice bits in it! It also smelled very fresh. Nonetheless, the brown sugar icy milk is a must have! Although I thought this would be another generic boba place, I actually really liked how they managed to come up with special slush flavors, rather than the typical ones you get at every boba store. Update: after coming here a few times, I feel like their boba flavour seems to be watered down a little. It does not taste as good as it was when it first opened.

Was shopping in the area and had a craving for boba so I decided to stop here! I got the Mango & Strawberry smoothie with the brown sugar boba. The boba itself is pretty good. It's perfectly cooked but the flavor is pretty subtle. I personally like my tapioca pearls to be a little more sugary but it was still pretty good. The Mango & Strawberry smoothie part was alright. Nothing really stood out about it. I wish they had fresh strawberries & mangos but they just used ice, what I'm assuming was fructose, and flavored syrups. I couldn't really taste the strawberry, just the artificial mango & sweetener. It could be that I just got the wrong thing on the menu. I think I'll come back another time and get something else. The staff was friendly, fast, and efficient. Overall good place. Definitely better than all of the other boba shops in the area.

You know what I keep thinking about? Boba. Specifically the boba from here, because it's dang good. Went with my sister on a whim to try out their milk teas while she was in town and I'm so happy I did. I got the purple yam special with boba and pudding, my sister brown sugar dirty milk tea with boba, and my husband mango passion fruit with boba and a cheese foam. To be honest, didn't know what to expect from the pudding and cheese foam but they ended up being my favorite part of our drinks! Now the purple yam won everyone over, it was the favorite. The purple yam tastes identical to taro (a sweet, nutty flavor) and the vanilla pudding/custard that you get sips of plus the boba added a fun textural element to the drink I LOVED. Next up was the mango passion fruit, with the cheese foam being like a cheesecake mousse that added a sweet tang to the tropical fruit. Lastly was the brown sugar, which had a strong tea flavor we aren't used to but I honestly would order it again. It was nice and creamy with hints of caramel from the brown sugar. Still delish even if you aren't a black tea fan. Over all with the fast and friendly service paired with fair prices, I say Boba Time is doing an awesome job giving the Utah Valley some fun and authentic boba drinks! As soon as my bank account let's me I'll be back.

Amazing fresh boba!! The best in Utah county! The owner and the staff are nice and accommodating. We placed many large orders for our office before Covid. We texted them our order and they were ready when we arrived to pick them up. Boba is always fresh. You can customize most of your drink - less ice, less sweet, hot or cold. They offer so many different types of drinks. So you can always find one that you like. A few tables inside so you can comfortably sit and wait for your order. Also, don't forget to ask for a punch card for your next visit Tip: you pay a little less if you pay cash. Highly recommend. read more

This mango and strawberry slush doesn't taste like anything close to mango or strawberry. It was strong flavor perfume, it has a chemical taste that you want to throw up afterwards and the taste linger in your mouth. I would give this place a 0 star if I could. The drink was around 7 dollars with tip, it does not worth it at all. Don't waste your time and money going to that place. I throw away that disgusting drink!!!! read more

This is my favorite boba place in UT county. The service is quick and the prices are fair. This place is cool because it has a lot of the more "Asian flavors" that a lot of other boba places lack. Things like winter melon, brown sugar and caramel milk, ube and taro. The boba are a great texture and they have some of the popping ones too. I like the winter melon, brown sugar caramel icy milk and honeydew. Definitely stop in and give this place a try. read more

WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW!! First time here and I've been in Utah for a bit over 2 years now and I can truly truly say that my search for the best boba place in Utah County - IS OVER!!! Hallelujah that this place exists!! We tried the regular milk tea with pearls and the dirty milk tea with pearls - both were FANTASTIC! The regular milk tea is 70% sugar and the dirty milk tea is 100% sugar - like my drinks a bit more on the sweet side). Coming from California and being a bit of a connoisseur with milk tea with pearls - this is truly a fantastic place to get your boba fix!!! Ahhh I'm so freakin excited!! This place is in Utah county and I don't have to drive to SLC to get good quality milk tea with boba to get my fix! The dirty milk tea is a bit more sweet and flavorful than the regular milk tea with pearls, but I had to keep switching back and forth between the two! I met Ivy the owner and she is super friendly and personable. I explained to her how I'm picky with milk tea and pearls and she assured me how they make their bobas fresh every morning! I can def taste it and the quality that goes into concocting their drinks. They also have a punch card so if you plan on coming back to this fabulous venue make sure you ask for one! read more

Loved it! It was a cute little shop and I loved how it was clean and simple on the inside. Also big thumbs up because they have APPLE PAY!! & you already know I'm a huge fan of Apple Pay because of the convenience. As for the drink..I got the taro and hokkaido slush with the brown sugar boba. I honestly wasn't the biggest fan of the brown sugar boba and I wish I went with lychee or one of the fruit boba. That's the only reason why I didn't give them 5 stars. Other than that it was a good drink:) My friend got the galaxy tea with some mango boba and chia seeds and it was BOMBBBB. I think I'd honestly rather go there for the tea and fruit boba over the milk drinks/slushes. But we'll see. New flavor of coconut!!!!! This is probably one of the better boba places in the provo area. They have a good variety in tea flavors and toppings. You also get a good price for quantity. They use syrups for flavor instead of powder so that mixes better within the entire drink. If you care about presentation, it's very IG appropriate. My slush is layered with different flavors, look pre cool if you ask me. They now have coconut flavor, which has been bought by popular demand! Gotta try it! read more

I got the Earl Grey milk tea with lychee jelly, however it seemed as though they used too much milk so it was just a milk drink! My friend got a Lavender milk tea and that was absolutely delicious. We also tried the peach oolong tea I recommend NOT getting 100% sugar it was overwhelming to drink. All in all, the service and tea for the most part was about a 4 read more

So I'm a boba belieber, but this boba ain't cuttin it for me. I've been to several boba places in Asia, but this place is just too sugary. I ordered two teas, the Hokkaido milk tea and the Taro milk tea. These drinks were so sugary that I had to go milk it down at my own place. First off, don't be disgracing Hokkaido with your fake-o tea, Hokkaido deserves better recognition. That is more like haku-i-do tea. Please my fellow friends, whatever you do, do not order the Hokkaido tea!! And the Taro tea has some weird stuff in it, like ube or something kind of grainy. My tastebuds have tasted the glory of fresh taro mixed in, but this ube-taro was a disgrace to my buds. Although the presentation of the tea was very lovely, the taste was if I was going to haku that Hokkaido. Also, the boba was too hard and chewy. I know you buy your boba from a vendor and it's not fresh. I prefer my boba smokin fresh. One last thing, it would have been nice to have a welcome in the store since there were a galore of samples on the counter awaiting for my presence, but nobody told me what it was or if I could even try it. This was my first time here. A friend of mine recommended this place. I'm from NY so I'm very happy to see more boba shops opening. Sometimes the tapioca balls can be hard and not chewy, but NOT this place. They make their boba fresh every morning! Love that. I ordered the Jasmine Green Milk Tea with regular tapioca balls and omg, the boba balls were SOFT as heck. Like you almost didn't need to chew. It was amazing. The milk tea flavor was super delicious as well. Will definitely return and I highly recommend this place. read more

I'm from San Diego, so I take boba seriously. The reviews below are all based on the customers not adjusting their sugar level. I always half my sugar level! Maybe start there and if you'd like it sweeter, bump it up. They gave me a free drink my first time! It was delicious. Their cashiers are in training but still very knowledgeable. I love Boba Time. I love all of the sweet milk drinks, the winter melon, and longan red date teas. I like that I can adjust the sweetness level of my drink here and that the boba consistency is always just the right amount of chewy. The location is really easy because I'm often running errands around that part of town. read more

The Jasmine Green Milk Tea with boba in it is my top 1 now! It's light flavor. The Brown Sugar Dirty Milk Tea and Matcha with Cheese Foam are the most popular ones, they are perfect as well! So this place is really good, when you get the right drink. We have been here about 4 times...? Getting different drinks each time and some are absolutely amazing, we love the Chocolate Carmel icy milk w/ creme brulee foam! The Cheese foam we found was.. a little flavorless and didn't notice it was there... Also there are some drinks like the creme brulee Sweet milk, taro Sweet milk, and red bean Sweet milk that just wasn't to our liking. The Creme brulee Sweet milk just tasted like milk. the red bean and taro are both freshly mashed rbut the texture is a little grainy and unappetizing... Idk this place is good, just have to order the right drink. read more

Delicious!!! Boba sign caught our eye and went in to try this one out. Staff was super friendly in explaining and answering our questions. Purchased the Sweet Garden Fruit (without the tea), added Strawberry Boba, along with the Uji Matcha with Cheese Foam with Chia Seed. Both were super flavorful and very refreshing. No skimping on quality here! Sturdy plastic vellum cup with the options for sipping off the lid by removing the heart cover or by using the straw. Chia seeds were plentiful as were the quantity of boba received. Neither were packed full of ice but had just enough to cool you down and quench the thirst!!! The visual is also very appealing on the Sweet Garden Fruit as the colors appeared layered and quite inviting! Definitely will be returning!!! read more

I've been here a few days ago. It was also my very first time at Boba Time. The employees are very welcoming, friendly, and professional. Upon walking into Boba Time just gives you great vibes that can't be explained. This business is really clean looking and overall looks as if they just opened up the place. I was really amazed and excited when I saw how they make their boba drinks, it's just how I like it. I always order my favorite strawberry smoothie w/ boba & lychee jelly... it is a must-have!! However, it may be quite pricey but I promise you it'll all be worth it when you take that very first sip of your boba drink.. I just highly recommend Boba Time. read more

Very disappointed in this place. Will NEVER be going here again. Went here a couple times & enjoyed the boba. When I went on Friday the 8th. Wish I could of got the lady's name. From the start the lady was giving me attitude, then after I ordered & was walking away she said "she's a ret***" in Chinese. Mind you, I'm Chinese. I've never been so upset. Don't know how this place can hire people so disrespectful. I called to talk to a manager but they were not there. ZERO stars if I could! read more

This is one of the best boba places I've ever been to! I always go for the Hokkaido Milk Bubble Tea with 70% sugar level because their drinks tend to be VERY sweet, so just customize your sweetness level. The workers are always so sweet and quick to make your order. It's my go to when I need something sweet. Some people say it's pricey but for what you get I think it's fair. :) read more
