    Hot Ginger Milk Tea
    Kamy T.

Decided to try this spot after seeing B Patisserie was closed next door. I tried their hot ginger milk tea with taro balls and was pleased with the taste! 25% sweetness was perfect for me. I was immediately hit with a strong ginger taste which was exactly what I wanted. They use Straus milk which the made the drink nice and creamy. I'm usually not a taro ball person, but I'm glad they were in the drink! They were soft and seemed very fresh. I do wish the drink was a bit hotter, but the flavor was solid. Service was quick and friendly. Only a few stools and chairs inside to sit in - mostly a to-go spot. Would come back to try their other drinks.

Refreshing fruit drinks that don't taste super artificial! I had the coco melon drinks and tried some of my boyfriend's sable grape. The coco melon at less sweet was super refreshing. It tasted just like blended up watermelon with a delicate and soft coconut pudding. My biggest complaint is that there seemed to be too much ice compared to fruit, because as I kept sipping, the watermelon juice was gone and left only flavorless slush. The sable grape was not my favorite fruit combination (apple and grape), but my boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed it. Again, not too sweet or artificial! Seemed to come during a mini rush but the workers still worked efficiently. We got our drinks within 10 minutes. There is one self-order kiosk as well as the option to order at the cashier. Place is very small with a few window spots, so definitely expect to take your drinks to-go when busy.

Easy to order on the tablet and drink came out relatively quick. There work area is kept very clean and the milks seem to be in a refrigerated machine that dispenses the exact amount of liquid so zero room for variability. Not much room inside so more of a grab and go boba shop. I got the coco mango with mini taro balls and it was so refreshing and not too sweet!

I got the Mochi Soy Milk Tea with Regular Boba and oat milk. There's a nice soy milk cream top. It's on the lighter side that isn't too sweet, but I'd probably ask for a little bit more sugar. Lots of options from fruit teas to milk tea. They have a kiosk on the front for self ordering. They are also on DD and have a first order discount which is pretty nice. There's some seating option in the front by the window, but otherwise it's mostly a take out place. Will stop by again to try the other options.

Nice service, clean interior, ordering on the menu was easy and the tablet has good description of all the drinks! Looking forward to trying more drinks! Tried the Mochi soy milk tea with taro balls and the mochi was good, taro balls were chewy, and tea was just right(sweetness)!

Parking is difficult in the area. Noted menu changed so no more grape drinks. Decent drink and not too sweet.

Consistent flavors. Boba texture was perfect and the drinks were refreshing for a nice sunny day.

We were visiting SF for the day and my son wanted a boba tea, found this cute little spot. Luckily we found parking nearby, parking is a bit tricky. Once inside we glanced at the menu but only the names are in English the ingredients are not. There were two people working that night Asian male and Hispanic female, I asked "Excuse me what's in the Mango Dreamer" They both looked at each other and the guy irritated said "I'll be right with you" We waited and he seemed angry that he had to help except he didn't answer my question he came over to the cash register and began to take my order. I repeated the question because my kids are very picky and they need to know what's in it. He quickly said the ingredients and seemed disturbed. I order my next drinks without asking what's in them and waited for them to be made. When we got our drinks we complimented on how beautiful they were we took pics with their sign and we all said thank you on our way out....we were the only people in there....no response ... the drinks were ok but the customer service is nonexistent

Clean little boba shop with a LOT of options. I also noticed the Yelp Community Experience Complimentary Offer posted outside and got a free mochi soy milk tea to try. It seems nice that they are trying to rectify a past issue. I would recommend trying this out!

My go-to spot for fruity drinks; they have great seasonal options with fresh ingredients. We tried the baby peach drink and it's loaded with peach meat. They are super fast about making orders as well.

This was our 1st time at this particular Boba Shop and we were impressed! Well at least I was.... I got a Passion fruit Green tea with Lychee Jelly and my Hubby got a Jasmine Green Tea with Boba. We both agreed the fact this boba shop serves No add-ins fake sugars was a major plus- and I loved the fresh and tart flavor my drink had! My Hubby said his Jasmine Green Tea with Oat Milk didn't have a very strong "Green Tea" flavor, and I told him,"Maybe that's only because of how they brew the tea?" Hee. He claimed his Jasmine Green Tea with Boba and oat milk tasted just like "Oatmilk and Boba." Yet he still drank it. Hee Nevertheless, he LIKED my drink and he usually hates my boba drinks because I favor tart flavors hee. But my Hubby said, "I can taste your Green Tea more than mine!" Lol- go figure! Hee. We also stopped by B.Pastry, which is right next door, on the right OF Tea Hut! Hee.

Do you know when the Sloat Blvd location is hiring/opening?

The Sloat Blvd location is opened right now. And the all positions are filled. Sorry ~

Is this business still operating under Shelter in place/Covid19? Do they offer takeout/pickup/delivery?

    Yes and yes. Regular hours.

What milk/cream do you use? Also do you make your own Boba or do you source from a vendor such as Fanale? Similarly for your teas, are any of them instant?

Hi there, we use straus whole milk, silk almond milk, silk soy milk and silk oat milk. We do not make our own boba, it’s imported from Taiwan. We do not use instant tea. All of our teas need to be brew and sit for more than 10 minutes.

    Open on Christmas Day today?

Yes we are open until 9 pm!

It's great you use compostable straws. Way to help reduce pollution! Can you also switch to compostable cups? It'd be a huge win!

We now use biodegradable bamboo straws since compostable is not enough. We are currently working on improving our environmental footprints towards our cups and lids, we will keep everyone posted once finalized. For now, we offer high quality… Read more

    Are the cups reusable?

    Hi Kimia, yes, they are.

Has their menu changed since they reopened in january?

Yes. We have removed sable grape due to the season. Then added Pu’er Tea and Very Cherry.

What is the yellow stuff in the oreo milk tea?

    That’s pudding cream.

At 11 am on a Sunday they were out of their best- black sesame Kouign Amann and the Raspberry Almond Croissant, which I took care of by paying a visit to Juniper bakery (sister business) later in the day. The Mocha with the house made nut milk fell flat. It needed something. I am not a fan of syrupy coffees and appreciate the more purist approach but this one just didn't do anything for me. The chai latte which I would never order was actually the best chai latte I have ever had, it was smooth like silk. Maybe I just had the wrong coffee order. Besides that, got the hot chocolate and the coffee tasting. I was surprised there was no explanation provided with the coffee- I figured it's all Honduran but an overview of some sort would have helped. I enjoyed all the coffees in there except the latte. Will visit again, earlier in the day so they are not out of their best sellers and try a different order.

When you order your drink, you have to enter inside the bookstore to wait for your drink to be called, but you can take the time to stroll around and look at their book selection and trinkets. Brief Summary: - New favorite place to eat mille crepe cake…read more- Not so sweet, easy to eat - Beautiful and peaceful interior - Near the MUNI N line I was looking for a new cake place to try, so when I searched for one in San Francisco, this one appeared in the first page. It was near the districts I like to go, and because I haven't been there in a while, I thought it was a good opportunity to visit here. This cake shop is very close to one of the MUNI line stops if you take the N line. The store had a sign propped up with the list of the mille crepe cakes and some of the chiffon. The basque cheesecake selection were not one there, so I assume that these are new items. The interior of this shop is so cute. It's as if I walked in a quaint early spring environment. The initial plan was to buy the cakes to take home, but I was now interested to stay to have a drink before buying the cake. There were seats in the further end of the building, so we sat there, relaxed while drinking coffee. I ordered 3 different cakes of different flavors - earl grey mille crepe cake - pandan chiffon cake - tiramisu basque cheese cake If someone asked me which one I liked the most, I would take time deciding because I loved all of them. All of them were not so sweet and also easier to eat; even the basque cheesecake. I showed the basque cheesecake photo to my colleague, and they were surprised: 'it's almost like having 2 cakes in 1!' was the memorable response to it. I also loved the mille crepe cake. This one left a fun and colorful impression of crepe cakes. I got the earl grey and I loved how it was almost like drinking an earl grey tea at the same time. I tasted the bergamot oil from the tea. I also liked how the crepe cake was overall moist and juicy (I wonder if it's because I chose a tea themed crepe cake?) I love the chiffon cake, and this also topped with the bias of me loving pandan. I was also surprised that the cream area was not just cream but packed with coconut meat. It gave a nice chewy flavor in between the cushion soft cake layer. The cake top decoration is so subtle yet gorgeous, it's a great cake to serve on celebrations too.
