Antonio engages friends and strangers without distinction. As I walked by, Antonio navigated me to the adjacent ally and handed me a half bottle of white wine, several wine glasses, and a makeshift table. At that point I had known him for less than 30 seconds. Step inside and indulge in the classic aromas of fresh meats and cheeses. I ordered a prosciutto and mozzarella and was shaken off the way a baseball catcher declines a pitcher's offering. What I received was a decision alternative that I think was prosciutto, speck (I think) and some kind of delicious cheese. It was amazing.

In a beautiful alley you'll find Il Feudo. Service and ambience was on point today. Even though it was easily evident down our whole party was from over sees the peeps who waited on us were very kind and patient. I ended up ordering something more on the simple side. The Tagliatelle al cinghiale drew me to it because of the meat. They use specific type of boar in the area to pair with the pasta. I think the idea is that you keep the overall dish simple so you can focus on the flavors of meat however for me it was just ok. Even though I knew what to expect, there was still something in the back of my mind that felt the dish was lacking something. The dish definitely had flavor so it wasn't an issue of salt or anything like that. But for some reason I was expecting to be more blown away by the dish. I definitely would come back but I think if I did I would just probably try a different pasta. Other than that I had a good experience.

The agriturismo called here and asked if they could seat two people to which they responded they were completely booked, so we decided to walk in and see if we could get a table and when we arrived they told us a 25 minute wait which we we're fine with. We ordered the minestrone soup, a salad, a side of the white tuscan beans in olive oil, and the spinach with butter. We also got a 1.2 kilogram Bistecca alla Florentina. I had this steak two separate times in Italy before trying it here and it was good, but here it was just too chewy. I know they cook these rare but the texture of the meat was just a no go. The minestrone soup actually tasted exactly like a can of Progresso soup -- nothing special, but the texture of the ingredients was good and the veggies looked fresh. The spinach and beans were good, but I actually wish I ordered pasta instead of the steak because watching them bring pasta over to the other tables, I could tell it looked good. It's hit or miss with the steak sometimes and I guess I just got unlucky this night.

We were seated upstairs, which offered a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. One thing we noticed was that most, if not all, of the guests in the upstairs dining room were English-speaking. It appeared that tourists were seated separately from local Italian diners on the main floor. This is only an observation, and there may be operational reasons for it, but it was something we noticed during our visit. The food was delicious, and the service was professional, prompt, and well organized. The pacing of the meal was excellent, with each course arriving at just the right time. The staff worked efficiently while still maintaining a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The only minor drawback was that the upstairs windows were open, and for a few minutes cigarette smoke drifted in from the street below while we were eating. It wasn't the restaurant's fault, but it was a little unpleasant during an otherwise enjoyable meal. Overall, we had a very nice dining experience. Great food, attentive service, and a quieter location away from the busiest parts of Siena make Osteria Le Logge a restaurant we would happily recommend. 4.5/5 stars.

We were in San G for the day and went by all the cafe joints etc and saw this down a small street from the busy square. It wasn't open till noon but I asked my wife to wait 15 minutes. Well I created a buzz of some older tourist couples and they couldn't wait to try to by the time it opened. We went to the loft dining above and one server for his best to get lunch service underway. My porchetta dish was good but overheated and dried out. I saw how they did it when we left and if I knew better I would ask for a slice not cooked again. So much rosemary flavor! The most impressive part was our Tuscan tureen sampler with sauces and really good breads. The bomb. This was a splurge lunch but so worth it! They also had the care to bring my bottle of beer(wife drink wine I don't) with a frozen plastic cell bag to keep the bottle cold while I drink from the glass. Very impressive but simple service. Salads and desserts from other tables looked awesome and some older fellow next to us must be on Lipitor given the huge meat and cheese plate he ate as his meal!
