There are endless logistics, difficult decisions, and stressful moments. So more than anything, you need a planner you can trust -- someone who can calm you down and actually make you excited about your wedding again. Celia was absolutely that person for us. She brought so much positivity, creativity, patience, resourcefulness and experience to the entire process. The second thing that really sets Celia apart is her eye for design. It's one thing to find someone who can manage logistics well, but it's much harder to find someone who understands who you are as a couple and can translate that into a wedding that actually feels like you. Celia has a strong point of view and gives you her honest opinion, which I really appreciated. Our wedding design and décor (she also does flowers and production) turned out more beautiful than we could have imagined, while still somehow feeling completely "us." And finally, what I'll probably remember most is how personally invested Celia felt throughout the whole process. We worked together for about seven months, and she never made us feel like we were just another wedding on her calendar. She was incredibly responsive and always happy to jump on a call and bounce ideas. It really felt like something we created together. Her excitement and love for what she does were contagious, and by the end, she felt like such a meaningful part of this chapter of our lives. We feel incredibly lucky that we found Celia and her team！

Fantastic planner who truly delivers on the big day!…read more We had a wonderful experience working with Big Day Service for our wedding! From the start, Celia handled communication, overall strategy, and design options splendidly. The final look and feel of the wedding actually turned out even more beautiful than we had anticipated. On the day of the wedding itself, everything went so smoothly that my partner and I were completely free to just focus on each other and enjoy the moment. She was also great at vendor matching--she recommended incredible vendors who had extensive experience working with her, and that existing synergy showed in how seamlessly everyone collaborated. When unexpected hiccups popped up (as they inevitably do with weddings!), she handled them with calm and quick problem-solving. If there's one thing to be aware of, it's that response times can taper off around the middle of the planning process (sometimes responding once every 1-2 weeks). However, this is simply because she prioritizes clients whose dates are immediately upcoming to give them her undivided attention. Sure enough, once we got within 2-3 weeks of our wedding date, she became incredibly responsive and was available for urgent calls promptly whenever we needed her. Overall, we had a very positive experience and are so grateful for her work. Highly recommend Big Day Service if you want a beautiful, stress-free wedding day!

From start to finish, they were involved in every detail --assisting with all vendors including florals, décor, custom floor design, backdrop, DJ, photographer, belly dancer, cake baker, and drummer! They went above and beyond in every way. I was even able to FaceTime Dunia while deciding between hotels for my bridal suite and my husband's groom suite --that's how hands-on and supportive they were throughout the entire process. They truly understood my perfectionist tendencies and attention to detail (which probably gave them a few headaches!), but they never once complained. Instead, they delivered -- on every. single. detail. Every part of my vision came to life exactly as I imagined. We had multiple calls to finalize each element, and I genuinely appreciated how they took the time to sit, listen, and take detailed notes. Their patience, creativity, and professionalism exceeded all expectations. It was clear that Platinum Events Bay Area only works with the most professional and top-quality vendors, and it truly showed in how seamless everything turned out. Dunia and Mandy really shined on the day of the wedding -- they flawlessly coordinated with all the vendors to ensure everything was perfectly timed and on schedule. They both even came to my hotel early to help steam my dress, overskirt, and veil. Such sweethearts! I am endlessly grateful for their dedication and care --their attention to detail made our wedding day absolutely unforgettable!

The best part about Henry was that he was always extremely responsive, usually within a 1-2 day response. We could always rely on his assistance, which made us easily trust in him completely during the wedding day. When we started selecting our Ceremony songs, he invested his time into sharing us feedback on how long songs should be and how we should go about choosing songs, whether it was for the wedding party, groom, or the bride. Henry provided us with detailed questions to assist him during the full day event. Although it could seem intimidating to have questions presented to you, it ensured that we could fully trust that Henry knew what he was doing. We had absolutely zero concerns leading up to the wedding day. During our pre-wedding day walkthrough meeting, Henry was very considerate of all our requests and was very detail oriented. He offered to cut and edit songs to fit our Grand Entrance, Ceremony, and dance songs. Surprisingly, he even created our 2-minute first dance song by making small tweaks to the beginning and end so the song flowed smoother. Of course, the day of the wedding was an absolute miracle! Henry has the best way of hosting and exciting the crowd!!! He always kept to the timeline, checked in with our planner, and we felt very comfortable the entire day! We provided Henry with a 7 hour dance floor playlist ‍ and he used it so well! The dance floor was fully filled the entire night and he read the room and played all our favorite hits! The company's light rig system was also super cool and had tons of lights and even smoke He also offered to display uplighting around the perimeter of the room which added a lovely touch (lighting makes a huge difference!!!). We are so grateful to have such a fun experience with Henry at BigFunDJ and received plenty of compliments throughout the night and after the wedding. We look forward to working with him again in the future Also, huge thank you for hosting our wedding the day before his birthday!!!
